The Blackberry Pearl offers most of the things that the larger version offers but is significantly smaller and way more stylish looking. It fits easily in your pocket without the bulk or in a standard case. The only problem I have with the Pearl is that it will dial random numbers if not locked. You could just be walking and have it in the case and it will dial the last person you called and they will hear you talking or walking or whatever. Other than this small flaw, it is a great phone with user friendly features and programs....

The Blackberry Pearl is a great phone; I am unbelievably happy with it. I have all of the services that I wanted on my phone [i.e. internet access, email access, QWERTY keypad for faster and easier texting etc]. Whereas, I was originally nervous about it not having the full QWERTY keyboard [instead sharing two letters per key, making it what I though would be somewhat of a challenge], I realized quickly that I am very satisified with it. I find it much more compact that the Blackberry Curve and generally the phone works very well. I had some slight problems with the internet service not always working when I changed locations between college and home both being in different states. However, I contacted my service provider and they instructed me on how to avoid this problem. For the most part I highly recommend this phone to all who want a Blackberry....

I bought this phone and was really excited about it until it arrived. I have had to send it back in the few mos. I have had it to get a replacement. Since then I have been a little happier with it. One key thing that needs to be mentioned, if you are planning on taking pictures buy a mini sd card b/c the phone has no memory. Once I had over 5 pictures, my phone kept freezing and wouldn't allow me to see my call log. For a phone that has been talked up so much I expected a lot from it. While now I'm more content with it, it has been a process. I am not the most technologically advanced, but I'm intelligent and some areas on this phone just take too much of an effort....

I love this phone. I got it as a Christmas present and at first I wasn't very happy with it, but it was because it seemed confusing after using the ancient phone that I had for 4 years. After reading the manual (always helps) and reviewing the website it was a lot easier. I finally got used to the text feature, which spells out options for you as you type and can be distracting. Now that I am used to it, I like it and it saves time because you can choose the word from the phone's options as you go along. I also love the camera, which takes beautiful and surprisingly clear pictures that are easy to download with the software that comes with the phone. Not only that, but the alarm has saved me several times and the calculator is great. I hope this phone will last me for awhile- I love it....
