I have only visited the T.J. Maxx in Tinley Park, but it is a wonderful store. I was very surprised by the amount of departments and the variety of items in such a small space. Although the store is a little messy, it surprisingly did not feel too cluttered. It is organized very well.

My initial trip to T.J. Maxx was for clothing for myself but I ended up also finding toys for my son and some home decor items as well. Not only does the T.J. Maxx carry brand name clothing items, but brand names in other items as well. It was around Christmas time and I was able to find Thomas the Train toys for my son as well as some home decor items to give as a gift to a family member.

Since most of the items in the store are brand name, they are still fairly expensive. If I went to another discount store, I might expect to purchase a similar item at a lesser price, but it would be a "knockoff". Because you are buying the actual brand but at a lesser price, you can assume the quality of the...

This has always been one of my favorite places. I love it not only for department store high quality clothes at a bargain; but also kid's clothes and gifts. I looked there at Christmas time because they have a selection of toys: Educational and different, and at much lower prices than other stores. I love T.j. Maxx! They have great variety and style with low prices that fit right into my budget. They're great for last minute outfits, if you know exactly what you are looking for, and there's so many different brands, I could stay in there for days....

I enjoy visiting T.J. Maxx stores. I like their quality of clothing and handbags. In fact, when I'm there I spend most of my time in these sections. My only problem with T.J. Maxx is that they don't have one close enough to where I live. They tend to be out in the far Suburbs, and I live in the heart of the City. Other than that though, I am a big fan of T. J. Maxx....

T.J.Maxx is a very good store to go to to get designer labels for bargain prices.Like most Im always happy to find a bargain but the atmosphere is so cluttered and homely.The quality of these clothes have declined because they have either been dragged on the floor by other customers or employees.I'm someone who appreciates good service,but the service at this store was just not tasteful....

T.J. Maxx- while known for clothing, has an outstanding collection of home accent pieces. If you ever watch Design on a Dime or other decorator shows on HGTV, you will notice that they often frequent T.J. Maxx (and Cost Plus as well as Pier One) You should too!

I find my friend T.J. perfect if you want to swap out accent pieces such as pillows, vases, candles, et al. TJ's is the perfect place to shop for new, inexpensive and fun home decor.

Someone once sent me in T.J. Maxx for tennis clothes, which they apparently carry. I didn't find any I liked that day, but I scored in another department - purses! T.J. Maxx has a really great selection of fabulous purses with designer labels, and all at discount prices.

I bought one or two and when I told a girlfriend my "find," she just laughed and said, "Yes, I know, I always find great purses there." So other people know my little "secret," huh? In case you didn't, now you do.

The store is always chock-a-block with discounted clothing, but I'll let someone else comment on that. What I'll say is you can count on T.J. Maxx for great purses.
