We have had our T-Fal Toaster for only a couple years and it no longer works. Two of the slots only toast on one side -- and the other two slots either toast very lightly and have to be pushed down a couple times to get toast brown or do not pop up at all and burn toast to a crisp. We have had toasters in the past that lasted for years until they were outdated (e.g., too thin to toast bagels) and we replaced them -- not because they didn't work, but because they no longer met our toasting needs. We are very disappointed in the short life of our T-Fal Toaster.

I was willing to pay more for this toaster because it was highly reviewed when I purchased it. It holds adjust to fit bread, bagels, frozen waffles, whatever you ned to toast. It has a bagel button and reheat feature which was appealing. Unfortunately, it toast darker on one side then the other (without the begal button pushed). It takes longer to toast then my previous cheaper toaster. It is very large as well - takes up too much counter space. Not recommended. Too much for the average quality.

the pits....the worst toaster ever...sloppy knobs..loose...cant toast even...and this is the one the replaced the orig with.........horrible horrible

I would love to find a toaster that is does not have the wide holes for toasting bagels. I think the old fashioned toasters, with the smaller holes for toast, made the bread softer and hotter when it came out of the toaster. I can not find the old fashion toaster any more and I have not choice but to use the wide hole toasters. ...

I am very pleased with the Avanti 4 Slice Toaster. It's fast and easy to use, and gets the job done in no time.I love that it makes four pieces of toasts at once. With a family of four, it gets brunch ready twice as fast and keeps all of the pieces of toast warm. The only complaints are that it takes up more counter space due to the fact that it's a four slice toaster, but what toaster isn't going to take up space....

T-Fal Toaster - Avanti 4 Slice Toaster

This is an excellent toaster. The best I have ever owned. It toasts evenly,if efficient and looks great on my counter. I have owned 2 slice toasters and for anyone who has more than 2 people in the family this is the way to go.

This is my second T-fal toaster. I love the brand just because it stands for good quality.
T-fal avanti is one of their best products. Easy to use, good results everytime and very handsom to look at . The price cannot be beat. The little pull out tray is weays to clean for crumbs, the spring system is great nothing gets stuck....

t-fal toaster is the best toaster because you are able to toast more then two pieces of toast at the same time. i would recamend this toaster th=o a family that has a lot of children. this would come in handy because it toast four slices of bread instead of two...

T-Fal Toaster's slanted design is really great for under the kitchen cabinets. I've always worried about the heat going directly above into the wood of the cabinets and this sets my mind at ease, plus it's easier to retrieve the toast for a shorter person.

For a long time we have tried to stick with our run of the mill Toaster Oven when requiring toast. Our Black & Decker has served us well.

But, with my daughter growing older and often having friends stay over, the demand for toast exceeds our Toaster Oven's capacity. We caved in and decided a dedicated Toaster was in order. While our Toaster oven boasted a 4 slice capacity, that just wasn't true.

We knew that we needed a machine that could handle at least 4 slices at a time and could produce toast quickly. That's just what we found when we stumbled upon the T-Fal Avanti, 4 Slice Toaster.

With it's stylish stainless-steel finish it fits nicely with all of our newer appliances. It makes short work of toasting 4 slices of bread at a time. Although my favorite is rye toast with seeds, a toaster wouldn't last a weekend here if it didn't work equally well on bagels. We're a big bagel family here.

The Avanti handles bagels extremely well. It toasts both...

My T-fal toaster is great. I have it in a stainless steel finish to match my other appliances. It toasts well and can do 4 slices at once. Haven't had a bagel in a long time, but it toasts my whole wheat bread really well!

Trays for crumbs are really nice and easy to remove/empty/replace. Sometimes you still need to empty crumbs through the top though.

We are a family of 7 and can't wait on toast or anything else forever. This toaster does 4 slices or 2 rolls or 2 bagels just the way you want them. the separate controls are precise and it will even reheat without burning.

More expensive than most, but I won't have to replace it 2 or 3 times either. You do need a good amount of counter space to fit it, but we have that.
