Symantec Norton 360 is a comprehensive automated protection program. I have used other software only to have my computer done in by some virus. For anyone who has had their computer taken down by a virus, this is a life saver.

I had an email virus absolutely destroy a computer and the message was from a friend. The virus attacked the core memory and I lost absolutely everything that was on the computer. The hard drive had to be reformated twice. Not only the inconvenience of the reformatting but all the software had to be reinstalled.

If you use graphics programs you know this also means locating and reinstalling all the plug-ins for special effects. There are also DLLs that have to be installed for the plug-ins to work properly.

Symantec Norton 360 has prevented attacks on my computer. I am not certain how these attacks occur but I am certainly happy that Symantec Norton 360 prevented the attack. I am certain these attacks are not anything that would have good results.

I have had Symantec...
...

AnnaBanana says "Hey, NORTON! You did a wonderful job!" about Symantec Norton 360

I'm not a huge fan of security software systems, which tend to put a bit of a "drag" on a system when performing copious background tasks. After my last experience with McAfee, I wasn't sure if I ever wanted protection again. "I'll buy my own security software" I had told the Yahoo tech but everything worked so much better without that I had rolled the dice and remained unprotected for months, living with my virtual front door unlocked and standing wide open. Fortunately, sanity returned and I installed Norton 360 by Symantec.

Just in time, too.

Norton 360 was industrious, always DOING something or other. This effort on my behalf was noted and duly commented on by me: "What a pain! There it GOES again!" I would say as my champion swatted away on my behalf, sometimes slowing everything down, but it was better than McAfee and certainly better than nothing as I was to learn the hard way.

Up Popped the Devil

On Labor Day morning, I was quietly enjoying my computer when...
...

Bought Norton 360 fron comp USA - spoke to Symantic rep in the store and was not told the license would expire and I would have to purchase a renewal. I understood the company Rep (Symantec) to state that all upgrades would be free and it was a one time cost. Will not use the product due to what I consider deceptive sales practice....

Symantec
Norton 360

Symantec has always been the software that I trust to protect my computer systems. Last year, I used Symantec's Norton Internet Security to protect my laptop. I needed protection when I'm on the Internet. I liked Norton Internet Security, but it slowed down and locked up my laptop all the time. When my subscription ran out this year, I decided to try the new version of Norton 360. I've read good things about this software.

About The Symantec Norton 360~
Norton 360 is an all-in-one security that provides protection for your PC, your online activities, and your important information. It runs quietly in the background, detects and blocks viruses, spyware, hackers, and other online threats. It delivers protection without confusing security alerts that interrupt your computing experience.

Norton 360 protects you from identity theft and phishing scams by verifying trusted websites and blocking fake ones.
