I love my swiffer wet jet beacuse it's light weight, easy to use and priced reasonable. I use it between moping for a quick clean up.

Long ago and far away I had the older Swiffer Wet Jet . . . and eventually got rid of it and went back to regular mopping with the occasional Swiffer Sweeper Mop to help out. But with all the coming and going this family does as well as a messy dog I decided to try the NEW Swiffer Wetjet beginning with the starter kit (priced at $19.99) that come with the "mop," two pads and one bottle of floor cleaner. It takes 4 AA batteries which of course you have to buy, so you really are paying a price for cleanliness and convenience.

What I like about the new Swiffer WetJet:

easy to assemble
thicker pads
more effective cleaning product
more absorbant
handles better with a twisting "head" and curved features make it clean better along baseboards and corners
scrubbing edge for tough dirt
quick and easy especially when I am expecting last minute company

What I don't like about the new Swiffer WetJet:

batteries and you can't use the rechargeable kind
waste - you end up adding...

Mopping is an unpleasant chore. Fortunately, manufacturers of household goods have created many devices over the years to make the task a little more bearable. One of the latest is actually an enhanced version of a product first introduced years ago. The product is the Swiffer Wetjet, a battery- powered mop that is ideal for simple, everyday cleanups.

Mop Commentary:

Swiffer Wetjet is a device shaped like a small vacuum cleaner, with a long, straight body and a swivel head. The swivel head contains a disposable cleaning pad specially designed to attract debris. Just above the swivel head are two jets that transfer cleaning fluid to the floor for mopping. The midsection of the mop contains a space where a bottle of cleaning solution is attached and the cleaning fluid is transferred to the jets by pressing a button near the top of the handle.

I like my wet jet. It's easy to use and works quick. I like the changeable pads and they arent very expensive for a box of them. We only have 4 hard surfaces in the house (kitchen and bathrooms)...but this works great on all of them.

The swiffer wet jet is great to have around the house. I keep it in my kitchen for quick clean-ups. The Swiffer is also great for entry areas during the winter months. The kids come in from playing outdoors and I just run the swiffer across the front entry for a nice quick clean up. I like the fact that it is ready when you are. I also have a steam mop but have to plug it in to use. The swiffer wet jet is quick and easy~

I have to say that when I purchased the Swiffer Wetjet, I was very dissapointed. The cleaning fluid smelled really bad and the pads did not last very long. Being the way I am, I could not bring myself to just throw it out. I desided to use my own cleaning fluid to refill the bottle and I made my own pads that can be thrown in the washer and used over and over again. So you see it can be made better and so I did. Now I love it and I keep a clean pad on it at all times for quick clean up of spills and such....

I just bought the product because I was tired of mops. Did a great job cleaning my wood floors, and the pad didnt get dirty that fast. The solution has a great smell and everything feels clean!

way easier that using a mop...

The Swiffer Wet Jet is an all in one floor cleaning system. The kit comes with a bottle of cleanser and a few cleaning pads. The cleanser is dispensed onto the floor and the cleaning pad picks up the dirt.

The pads must be changed frequently, if not, you are just using a dirty pad. The replacement pads, as well as the cleanser, are expensive.

I find that the cleanser leaves a residue on my floors, leaving them sticky. That residue makes dirt stick to the floors resulting in more frequent cleaning.

I find it easier to clean my floor with my bucket and mop. I can control the amount of cleanser applied to the floor and I am not limited to one brand. I feel the floors are cleaner using a bucket and mop and I don't have that residue left on them.

If I was in a pinch and needed to clean up something quickly, I would use this and only because I now have it.

As a mother of an active 3 year old and cat owner, I am always looking for quick easy cleanups especially since I have white tile floors throughout the house. Needless to say, I have already made a promise to myself that I will never have a house with white tile again but in the meantime the Swifter WetJet is my go to tool for keeping my floors looking good.

The Swiffer WetJet starter kit includes the WetJet powermop, 2 cleaning pads, small bottle of cleaning solution, and scrubber pad. Batteries are not included. The powermop requires 4 AA batteries. The powermop is easy to assemble.

The Swiffer WetJet is a great go to tool for easy cleanups. Being able to grab the mop spray solution and cleanup the mess is a lifesaver for a busy mom. I particularly like the antibacterial cleaner.

I love my swiffer wet jet. I wish I had more than one of them lol so my kids could both use them at the same time! Its easy to use and leaves a great smell. My kids no longer gripe about helping me clean the floors. You do have to buy refills which can get expensive unless you use coupons but I love it.

I love my Swiffer Wet Jet! It makes a quick and easy job of cleaning the floor, and it does a good job. I actually lost a piece to mine and it won't work without it, I emailed the company to see if I could order a new piece, and instead, they sent me a coupon for a new free Swiffer Wet Jet!...

Included in your Swiffer Wet Jet box is the Wet Jet mop, a container of cleaning solution, four AA batteries and six cleaning pads. All these components come in a purple box that you can not miss on the shelves of the store.

Out of the box, the Swiffer Wet Jet needed to be assembled. It comes in three pieces which need to be screwed together. Screw the three pieces together, snap in a cleaning......

I live in a condo and wanted to save space so I purchased the swiffer jet cleaner mop, but it is not practical for heavy cleaning. it works fine for quick pick ups, but it doesn't leave my floor superclean. I have to go back to the clunky heavy duty mop & bucket.

Mu husband was skeptical when I brought home my Swiffer Wetjet for the first time...Until I used it and he saw for himself the quality of clean that I got from such a small item. I will never use a regular mop and bucket again....
