melgsmit says "The Swiffer Mop freshens and cleans well on flat surfaces" about Swiffer Mop

I have used a swiffer mop for over a year now and really enjoy how easy it is compared to a standard mop. I use mine on linoleum floors without any ridges or holes. I say that because the swiffer mop works great as long as your flooring isn't tile or full of dips. I have tiled flooring in the front of my home which it doesn't work well with. Because of the flat design it doesn't fit down into the grout areas well. But for my kitchen it is the best thing I own to freshen and clean with! I love the attached mopping solution that allows you to deside how much to spray! I use the solution with febreeze which makes my kitchen smell so clean and inviting! It is also so easy to clean. The throw away cloths come off easy and replace in seconds! I don't have to get my hands dirty clean my mop after I clean the kitchen. The cloths also last awhile (as long as you aren't cleaning up mud every day!) I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to keep your room clean fast! I have little children...
...

smblomker says "Good for replacing your mop." about Swiffer Mop

The Swiffer Mop makes your moping any floor so easy. It takes less time to set up. No mop buckets, no having to wring out a mop, don't have to worry about dirty water to dump. With the clothes that comes with the mop itself, all you need to do is throw them in the trash and replace it with a new one.

The cleaning sollution comes with unscented and scents like frebreeze to bring a good smell to the air.

You do have to pay something like $30 for the started kit and then spend more money for the refill cleaning clothes and cleaning solution. Its really worth the money because it cuts down your cleaning time. Makes your floors cleaner then a regular mop does.

Its easy to store, just put the mop into you cleaning closet or where ever you put your broom. Storing the cleaning supplies just under your sink for easy access. The more you use it the more this thought will come to you, where was this so many years ago when I was breaking my back bending over a bucket to wring out the mop.

You'll not...
...

This is great for smaller areas, maybe a bathroom or such, but when using for larger areas, it seems to be a bit expensive for the wipes for it. It doesn't leave any type of smell, so it's great for sensitive noses :) But it does work very well
...

shayslip says "Expensive to replace supplies" about Swiffer Mop

Okay I have had my swiffer wet jet for about two years and I do like it and it is much easier that using a mop and bucket. But the only cost for the mop and bucket was soap and water. With the swiffer you have to replace cleaning pads, bottles of cleaner, batteries, and on some scuff removing pads. These things are not cheap either and the fluid does not last long. I have tile throughout my entire house and it take two bottles to clean the floors. That is roughly seven dollars to clean my floors on cleaning solution alone. Also i go through about 4 or 5 cleaning pads because I have to change them so often or they will not soak up the solution well and they will leak when i change it. Although I have named quite a few reasons that this devise is difficult and pricey to use, it is still easier that using a mop and bucket so I will continue to use it and just buy the supplies in bulk.
...

AmyA says "Mopping made easy" about Swiffer Mop

While talking to a co-worker at work we started talking about mops and that fun job. I said I wanted to get a "steam mop" and she said she had one and prefers her Swiffer mop.

So I went out to purchase a Swiffer mop (saved me cash compared to the steam mop) I brought it home, put it together, popped in the batteries (not included) and the cleaner (came with the mop kit along with some pads) and off I went. All very simple. Since I am a Febreze junkie I also purchased another of the Swiffer cleaner with Febreze sure my girls (my cats) were napping so they would stay out of my way while mopping HA. I didn't want to spray them. So that was a worry of mine with pets around.

Pads were simple to attach and all I had to do was spray and mop. The cleaner for the mop had a nice scent and really good cleaning power that I noticed right away.

I did notice that the changing of pads were more frequent then what I wanted to do and while the cleaner did dry quickly, my floors didn't...
...

My Swiffer Mop is one of my best friends. It cleans my floors beautifully and doesn't leave them sticky. The mop pads are easy to change, and I don't have to drag around a mop bucket and keep emptying it. So the Swiffer keeps my sink cleaner, too.
...
