This is a fantastic iron for the price. The steam function on the iron gets all the wrinkles out of my cotton garments. In addition, the retractable cord is great, but it does take a few tries to get the cord completely in the device. Filling the iron is breeze as it comes with a small measuring cup. The auto-off feature is additionally help if I walk away from the iron for a while. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with this product.
...

Sunbeam 4222 Steam Master Iron with Automatic Shut-Off is worth the moderate price. I must have an iron that produces a good amount of steam. This iron does not disappoint. I have purchased more expensive irons in the past, hoping for that all-important burst of steam without leaking only to be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised by this iron. This particular model is a little heavier than I would have liked, however all in all it is worth it.

...

This Sunbeam Iron is affordable, ez to use , easy to store . Great if you tend to forget things-- has an automatic turn off feature- turns off after 15 minutes when standing upright, 30 seconds when flat. Good thing!!I would definately reccommend this product to anyone. It is also light weight, available in most stores such as Fry's Grocery stores, Kroger, Wal-mart, ect, Easy to find, easy to use, easy on the wallet-- what more can one ask for ?...

My very expensive iron had broken right in between pays ! so, off to kmart I go in search of an inexpensive iron that I'm already geared up to hate. I purchase the Sunbeam Steam Master iron for a decent price, but much less than I would normally spend.

I trudge off to home to finish what was left of my laundry. I'm skeptical and critical of every little thing about this iron, the way it feels, it's heaviness, the plate, etc.

But, what I found out is that it really does not drip- not in the least and that has taken a huge worry out of my ironing. It also works really well with someone who tends to forget what a pressing cloth was made for (me) because it isn't as quick to scorch the fabric. ( it still will, but it gives you leaway time to say, "oops" and pick up the pressing cloth.

It's heaviness is durability that can iron my husbands heaviest work pants- sometimes stretching the shrunken fabric back to the correct length.

I have put this iron to the test and (aside from the cord...
...

Steam Master SUNBEAM Iron with Auto Shut Off is the best iron I have ever owned.
My sister in law recommended it and I recommended it after I had it about 1 month to
my daughter.. Love the settings and the easy pour cup they give you to fill it with
water. I like the auto shut off just incase you get a phone call in the middle of
ironing and you forget about it... Great Product.
...

This is the best iron I've ever used/owned. It has every feature you could possibly want: an easy to fill water reservoir that is drip free: select shot of steam from light to heavy settings; spray/mist feature; very smooth glide sole plate; retractable cord; sturdy base; retractable cord; automatic shut off. It even has a "storage strip" that lets you know when the iron is cool enough to store. I've always hated ironing & although it's never a pleasure, this iron almost makes it enjoyable....
