I recieved the "Summer Infant baby's quiet sounds monitor" at my baby shower from hostess'. Awesome present. I wasn't convinced I needed a baby monitor since my sons bedroom is right next to ours, but it has helped greatly. You know those times you wake up in middle of night to baby noises and don't know if their still asleep or or if their actually awake. It saves on alot of trips back and forth to check on them. It also helps when your working around the house because you can move the monitor TV to different rooms as you work so you can get your housework done with worries about the little one. For something I thought I would never need much less use, I am thankful for the people that took it upon themselves to buy it for anyway. I don't know what I would do without it. I truely believe now that it is a necessity for EVERY parent out there. You never know when it will be extremely handy.

The "Summer Infant baby's quiet sounds monitor" was less expensive than other video monitors. Although previouw reviews said over and over that it had a problem with static, I ignored their advice in order to save some money. I do not recommend doing this! I am frustrated most times that I use it. I have to place it in just the right position in the room so it will not be staticy. I think it would have been worth the extra hundred dollars to avoid this frustration. True, it does have night vision and I love being able to see my baby, but I think the company could work on the static! It is easy to use and there is a clear picture. The main problem is the static. So, please find a way to fix it! Again, pay the extra money. The other monitors are also less bulky and more mobile than this one.

The Summer Day and Night Video Monitor allows me to keep an eye on two children at one time. The ability to have two cameras with one video monitor is convenient. With the flip of a switch I see one or the other. It is also convenient to look in while an infant sleeps or a toddler rests, so as not to disturb the napping process. The video is clear with distinct audio. I have my children on different floors and still the monitor has good reception. My only concern is distance causing static. I highly recommend this monitor for those parents who want to be there watching there kids without disturbing the routine of napping....

I picked up the Summer infant baby video monitor after we had our second child and I couldn't be happier. The system does exactly what you would expect, but I was happy with the installation and overall picture quality in dark conditions.

I will note that while the picture quality is great, I did have some issues finding the proper place to put the monitor as I noticed that certain parts of the house created interferences that made the picture hard to view. In some placements, I've even created my own DIY antenna with some aluminum foil and a strategically placed wire that solved some of my interference problems.

Another item that I REALLY enjoy is the night vision capabilities. While the baby sleeps, the night vision does a great job at utilizing the ambient light in the room. Long story short, you can see your baby in the dark!

The only thing I would change is the addition of a flexible / extend-able antenna, but that's about it.

I highly recommend the Summer infant baby video monitor......

The summer infant baby's quiet sounds video monitor is a blessing. It eased the transition of moving my little one out of my room into his own room. I was able to sleep peacefully knowing I could wake up and look over and still see him. It has some interferance fromthe ohone but if you cut it off and on it will fix it self. Great product .

this is not in coloer and it is to big not portabul it is just not for me

and it is to high in price for a black ond white screen ther is not to much more i can say yes it comes in clare and it sounds clare this is the big black and white baby moniter

I love this monitor - had it for my first baby, although it only lasted a year before it broke (plugged into overloaded circuit). I just bought another for my second baby - the screen is a nice relatively big size - better than the small handheld screens. The tv-like monitor obviously can't fit into your pocket, but it is lightweight enough to move from room to room. I definitely recommend this monitor for peace of mind - visual and auditory....

I just love this monitor. This being my second child, 13-years apart from my oldest, I find myself a little more paranoid. Tee hee But having this monitor was the best investment we ever made. You can flip it on at anytime in the middle of the night to check on the baby without distubing her. Gave me peace of mind and I slept a lot better having it. I would highly recommend this product....

This monitor is a great way to keep and eye and ear out on the baby. You can either just listen for the baby, or you can see them. It is a good way to look in on your baby and see what they are learning to do with out being in there to distract them. They learn so much on their own and you are amazed when you see it for the first time. But with this you can see it while that are just learning to do it, and it is wonderful. This is a must have for any parent, of a baby or small child....

This product is great, but every once in awhile the screen will get fuzzy, but other than that...it's good! My friend also has one and sometimes she has the same problem. For me, this set works better at night than in the day time, but why? I don't know!...
