RugbyRules says "Best Will Ferrel movie - great plot that will make you think!" about Stranger Than Fiction PPV

This is my absolute favorite movie. A definite must see! I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrel, but I've seen this one half a dozen times and will continue to watch it. The movie gets philsophical which only adds to its great content. There are a few scenes that I could have done without but overall a very clean and family-friendly movie. You will love it!...

I tried in vain to keep my eyes open throughout this film. Although I usually like Will Ferrell's movies, I couldn't stand this one. I don't know maybe I just missed something. I don't know if this was a serious film or comedy. Don't waste your time or money on this one. Sorry...

Iwannababosstone says "amazing movie will ferrell at his best, & i like all his movies!" about Stranger Than Fiction PPV

this movie is amazing!! will ferrell plays a serious role VERY well, and still gets in little comedic parts that are hilarious. this movie is unliike any that will ferrell has done before, and it is awesome. maggie gyllenhaal (? about spelling) is another lead in this movie, and she is just perfect for the role. you can't tell much about this movie, or else you give it away. if you haven't seen this movie already, you definitely should!...

LauraBelle says "An Endless Reflection of Fate" about Stranger Than Fiction PPV

Intro
Since I was a child I loved those pictures that were an endless reflection, where it would be a picture of someone looking at a TV, and the picture on the TV was a picture of someone looking at a TV, and the picture on that TV was a picture of someone looking at a TV, etc. I've also always been a believer in fate, that everything happens for a reason. I'm also a believer in a really great story. The film Stranger than Fiction invites us into Harold Crick's story of his life, as he wonders if this is all there is and if there could be a different ending to it.

Storyline
You would think that any movie that stars Will Ferrell, and also features Emma Thompson, Dustin Hoffman, Queen Latifah, and Maggie Gyllenhaal would be some type of romantic comedy, but instead, it's more of a tragedy, and interestingly enough, that's what Ferrell's character spends half the movie doing, trying to find out if he's living a comedy or a tragedy.

Ferrell stars as Harold Crick who leads a very organized......
