I love this high chair and so does my now 3 year old. We bought this chair primarily because of the removable T-bar. This is because my daugther had to wear a brace for club foot 23-hours a day until she began walking. Because of the brace, we were unable to use a lot of high chairs because it was either too difficult or impossible to get her in and out.

That may be why we bought it, but its not why I LOVE it. I love it because it feels like furniture. I love it because my toddler has been able to climb into it safely for a long time. I love it because when she slides it across the tile floor to reach the counter it is quiet and doesn't damage the floor. I just love it. Well worth the money.

I hate the stokke babyseat!!!!
My baby is in the 50 % height and 50 % weight range and it is a nightmare to get him out of this seat. You have to pull him out from behind and make sure that his legs are straight...otherwise be prepared for the tears. What a shame. For this money you are better off buying a different highchair.

Stokke Kinderzeat is light weight and can be moved around easily from room to room. It is sturdy enough to not move once child is in it but not too heavy to lift and move around. It is tall enough to let the child be at the same height as everyone else at the table which helps the child feel a part of the family. The serving tray is not too large or too small. It seems to be comfortable for the child to sit in and safe enough to make sure they do not fall out. When your child gets bigger it converts to a ladder which is fantastic. When the time comes for that, just turn the highchair over and let your child climb to reach things or get on the bed. Most highchairs do not do that. ...

at first i thought that the stokke kinderzeat looked unsafe but cute so i got it and now i love it thanks for everything stokke my baby loves it and so does my husband...

Since my child can sit, she uses this chair. At the beginning she seemed a bit too small and there was not enough back support. With the new ones in Europe it is improved. You can buy the baby rail and it includes higher back support. I noticed this when I bought it as a present for our friends.

Now she is 2 she climbes safely on and off her own chair and she loves it. The chair is very stabile and is not so easy to knock over!

The cushions make the chair look nice, but I took it off now since it is easier to clean the chair itself with a cloth then cleaning the cushion.

I love it that you can change height of seating and feet rest since kids grow very fast.

The only disadvantage I would say it is expensive.

First I did not like it had no table on it, but now I see the advantages of that. You can put the chair as close to the table as you want.

HI this chair is great for a new baby or awesome for toddler. have used it for a year and cant wait to share it with a new parent when my son grows out of it. cant wait for everything to show my sister, having a new baby and Stokke Kinderzeat would be a great item for anyone with a kid....

We bought this seat last year when I noticed that my 4 year old was so fidgety at the table. I had heard of these seats but the price tag made me think I would never buy one - however, when I realized how much a regular chair cost, and saw that this could be used all the way up to adulthood, I reconsidered. With 9 in our family, when we have company over we can always use extra seats, so I splurged and bought a Stokke. It was wonderful! My son was so comfortable and so much more still at the table, and he was the right height instead of always getting up on his knees. I also had a 2 year old, and thought it would be great for him as well, but just wasn't up to spending the money on two of these chairs. I bought a cheaper imitation, and while it functions fine, it is obviously cheaply made and I can tell it will not last as long as the Stokke. I plan to have this seat well into my grandmothering years, and look forward to many grandchildren sitting in this seat! ...

We went through about 6 booster seats before we found this the pricetag is high but worth every cent. A must if you have more than one toddler. When we received it in the mail, I put it together in about 1 hour time. My son hopped up in the seat it butts up under the lip of our table. The perfect booster seat and it grows with them.I also use it as a ladder when I need to reach something high in the kithcen.I highly reccommend this seat for all parents...

This is the best durable child seat that I have every seen. After buying one for my son when I still lived in Europe, I immediately bought two when my girls where born in the USA.
My children still use them and they are now 6 and 4 (x2). The chair fits any table, and because you can buy them in different colors it will fit any color scheme in the house. The available colors also make it easier to give each child their own color. The material is extremely strong, and the chair is also very comfortable. I sometimes even sit in one of the KinderZeats.

We've had the kinderzeat for over 2.5 years now (daughter is now 4.5 y/old). I love that she can join us on the table like a big kid when she was very young without feeling isolated and confined in a regular high chair with tray. My daughter can easily get in and out of this chair and push it in and out of the table too (I put some magnetic sliders at the bottom to slide even better on our hardwood flooring). It is a very sturdy chair and I figured it gives you the most bang for the buck considering that it can be used up to adulthood. Weight can handle up to 200 lbs. It is a beautiful and neat-looking chair. Doesn't scream "babyish" at all and it looks like it can blend in easily with my home dining decor because it is very trendy-looking. I have nothing but high praises for this quality furniture and I can see it to grow definitely with my kid all the way to adolescence. Heck, I even love to sit myself on it!...

We bought this chair for our 4.5 year old in Germany about 5 years ago before they started to import it to the US. It was one of our first purchases for our daughter. It lets your child be part of your life at the dinner table, but still keeps them in their seat. It also is not a huge ugly piece of plastic that sits off to the side. It just blends in. We have used it for almost 5 years, which from our perspective makes it a great value. We have a new born and he is going to start using it as well. It is not a throw away item, but something to keep. It also comes in about 10 colors from conservative to high powered green and orange. Just buy it and you will be happy with your purchase. ...

The Stokke Kinderzeat is the thing I am most pleased to have bought for my daughter. We have owned it for a year and used it several times each day, and I only like it better all the time

This great looing chair has a spare Scandinavian design. Because there are a variety of finishes, everyone should be able to find one that matches their dining room set. Cleaning the chair is very easy because there are only a few joints and the pieces fit flush. The cushion is sold separately, but I decided as long as I was blowing two hundred dollars I might as well shell out thirty more for the cushion. The cushion is excellent for a child's chair because it fastens so securely to the seat and doesn't shift around when the child moves. It attaches to the chair by slipping a pocket over the bottom of the seat and fastening it to the back with velcro, so there are no knots to tie and removal for washing is quite painless. I've laundered it probably three hundred times, and it still looks great. Although...
