Step Up 2 has great music and dancing sceens, if you are into that sort of thing. I would recommend watching it in surround sound. Gets you on your feet, ready to dance. The plot is just OK. Motivating dancers, wish I could move like some of them. The cast is not hired for their acting skills, but for their dancing skills. The cheoreography is amazing...Hats off to them. It is not as good as the first movie though. Don't need to see Step Up 1 prior to viewing this movie. Step Up 2: The Streets is recommended for ages 13 and older if you are into the hip-hop dance genre....

Step Up 2 is one of the best dances movies ever. The dances are modern and fun and you really get into the movie. My kids even enjoyed watching thi movie and dancing along to it. It also teaches you a very good lesson and I would recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys dancing and comedy.

i liked the step up 2 movie. it was fun to watch the people dancing. i liked the music too. it would have been cool if she did the ballet music but i t was still good. the first one was better and the first movie had better acting. some parts were kind of boring. they didnt dance as much as they did in the first step up 2. they barely even practiced too....

I rented this DVD (STEP UP 2 THE STREETS) when it came out on video at Blockbuster, I loved the first one so I figured the second would be great. The songs are definitely catchy. The previews really made me want to watch this movie. I sat down and started watching it, the first 15 minutes or so were so interesting, then I found myself loosing interest, when it got to the end it got interesting again. The story line was different and she wasn't as good of a dancer as the first main character. I have to say the best part was the end Battle. ...

Even though the movie was prbably not one that i would have gone to see myself without some persuasion, the movie got me hooked after the first 10 minutes. I could not think of a better beginning middle or definately the end. The movie can relate to almost anyone. A true masterpiece!...

This movie brings in a super-hot guy (Chase Collins, played by Robert Hoffman) and a pretty girl- both of them super-talented. They both have amazing talent and there's always great music whenever there's dancing. Of course, Tyler Gage (played by Channing Tatum) was greatly missed, but I for one think Chase filled his place perfectly....

love Love LOVE! I was very skeptical watching this without Tanning Chatum (Um, NUM!) but this surpassed my expectations by far. Great story line and filled with emotions. We danced all the way to the car! I can't wait to get it on DVD!

Wow! I loved the previous movie Step Up and was a little unsure how they would do with a sequel but I was NOT dissappointed. This movie was full of action packed hip-hop dancing, great music, and really likeable characters. From start to finish, this movie had me wanting to jump up and dance, even though I know I could never dance like they did. They bring back Tyler from the previous movie, my only wish is that he had been in the movie a little bit more. However, the new "guy" is great and a recognizable character that can be seen in She's the Man. This movie will have you tapping your foot and wondering whether or not you yourself could ever dance like that. I will for sure be buying this movie once it comes out on DVD! I can't wait!...
