Starbucks has the frappucino and Panera's has the mocha. The difference'sis that Starbucks specialty is coffee, whether it be cold or hot, however Panera's specialty is lunch, bakery items and bread. Their drinks are tasty and is cheaper then Starbucks, but like they say "You get what you pay for" Starbucks is better quality all around. They also offer things like shots of flavors as well as espresso to any drink where Panera does not.

I would say that Starbucks Frappucinos are the better of the two.

Panera's Mocha coffee drink is my favorite summertime dessert drink. It's a little different than Starbucks and also a little cheaper! It's smooth and creamy and has a little whipped cream treat on top! It does have a lot of calories, so it should be consumed in moderation. But it's great for an afternoon pick-me-up or a Saturday treat....

If you like Starbucks' mocha frappucino drinks, you should try Panera Bread's IC mocha, minus the mocha. It tastes VERY similar, but just not as sweet. Also, I've had Starbucks here in Oklahoma, Texas and California and have seen inconsistencies in the tastes. At $4 for a coffee, I would hope to always get what I'm paying for. Oh yeah, at Panera's, after 5 of them, you get one FREE!!! Just ask for their coffee card. Besides, Starbucks' is WAY too crowded all the time. People should go to other places to spread the money around....
