I love St. Ives Apricot Scrub for all skin types. I use this everyday to control oil on my face. Its funny, my skin is dry except for my face. This removes all the dead skin off of your face that will collect and clog your pores. I will never use anything else! St. Ives prides itself on being affordable but yet effective. Go St. Ives!!!

St. Ives Apricot Scrub is a product my mother used when I was a teen and she introduced it to me when I was sixteen years old. I used to get those stubborn, nasty blackheads and she showed me this little secret of a product that I still use today and have passed to my girls. First, it really scrubs your face so well. For best results I found that using a heated rag before I used it helped the product do its job ten times better. I have tried the powered face scrubbers and yes, they work, but not like the old stuff. St. Ives made a soild product when they made the Aprioct Face Scrub and my girls even say it makes their face so smooth. A trick to helping it work its best is to take a little out and let it dry a tad then scrub your face. It is a studdier abrasive that then works well on your skin. Most face scrubs are creamy and just do not do what this one had done. You have got to try it at least one time!

I am a longtime user of the St. Ives apricot scrub. I know that the most important thing about this product is that you have to gently rub it onto your skin because of the little walnut pieces that are in the product. It really does a great job in sloughing off old skin and taking off makeup. It is not too harsh on your skin so it can be used both morning and night. The product lasts for a really long time and I feel that this product really makes your skin feel softer. The price is also a great deal. My two daughters are also both in love with this product. It also reduces shine and prevents future breakouts. (As it says on the label, however until now it has been true to its word.) There is a certain smell to it. I can barely smell it. You definitely can not smell it after you have washed the product off. This product is also great for getting rid of blackheads because it really opens up your pores.

The St. Ives Apricot scrub acne product works wonders for me. I have been using it for about 7 years now. I have not found anything else that resemble how great it works. I usually use it twice per day, once in the morning and once at night. It prevents acne from occuring. Since I have been using it I have had no acne outbreaks yet. No breakouts or anything. You simply wet you face with water and then apply a small amount to you hands and then massage it onto your face in a circular motion. Then you rinse it off. Its that easy to use. It also comes in a medication formula that works wonders as well. It is also quite affordable too. You can find it just about anywhere from the grocery store to target, walmart, and drug stores as well. I have reccomended the product to many people and they keep using it as well. The tell me that they also have not found a product that works as well as this one does. I will continue to use it in the future.

I would not say that I am exactly "troubled" by acne, however, from time to time I get a few breakouts here and there. I had used quite a few different types of acne treatments from Oxy to Nutragena and nothing I had used before seemed to make a difference in the few breakouts and blemishes I got. My mother decided to try St. Ives apricot scrub for a few reasons. One, it was a scrub and that was different than the other products, it could get deep into my pores and take dirt out and whatnot. Second, the apricot scent was fantastic and make me feel fresh and wonderful afterwards. Within a few days, I noticed a difference. My face felt a lot more clean and clear and I did not get as many pimples as I had been. Also, St. Ives apricot scrub had kept pimples from coming back!

My younger brother (15 years old) had used St. Ives apricot scrub after I had, but found that it made his skin too dry and his face got pretty red afterwards. He is the only person who I know of who had a bad reaction...

St. Ives Apricot Scrub is wonderful even for everyday use. It's not harsh or drying and leaves your skin feeling smooth and very clean. Most of the time I use it once a day and haven't had any problems with irritation. It's a great product at a very reasonable price.

My mom usually uses St. Ives Apricot Scrub and she swears by it, so I decided to give it a try. I bought the scrub that is for blemishes and acne treatment. I gave it about 2-3 weeks, using it everyday and it didn't do anything for my skin. Well I take that back. It did make my skin break out more than it had already broken out. It didn't even take any redness away which is a big deal to me because I don't like caking on makeup layers to cover redness, that's just not attractive. After 3 weeks I had acne ALL over my forehead and it was the itchy kind of acne. I still have that acne on my forehead right now as I am typing this review! Now I understand that skin treatments will have different effects on different skin types, but if you are an acne sufferer like myself I would shy away from this product. Also as soon as I opened it the first time it was like water. Maybe I got a bad tube but it wasn't a thick cream, it was very watery. I used this everyday and I just got so frustrated with...

I started using this scrub a few years back when my skin use to be pretty dry. I wasn't moisturizing everyday like I should so I use to use this scrub to get all the dry stuff off. Every so often I use it when i need it, but it definitely isn't an everyday face scrub. The beads are a little too harsh and they feel like sand paper if you scrub them into your skin too hard. Other than that, it gets the job done if you are in desperate need of a strong scrub. It also smells pretty good. ;]

I have tried this product once it was alright. It smelled good and felt good after washing off. I did find that several uses of this product my skin was dryed out, But the scrub does work good .My daughter used it and she was not impressed at all. It made her skin feel tight and dry and made her problem worse. It just irritated her skin instead of helping clear it up so if you have real bad acne I would not use this on it. If you want to tighten up your pores it would be great for that.I don't recommend this product.

St Ives Apricot Scrub is good for a facial cleanser to use about once a week. I wouldnt recommend using everyday though. IT goes on easy and smells wonderful. Plus its not that expensive of a product so you can use it a lot without feeling guilty about spending a lot of money on a facial cream.

The facial scrub is excelent for removing and washing away dirt and dead skin, and leaving your face feeling fresh and wonderfly smooth. The acne medication in it works primarily for removing oil from the face, and preventing acne from forming. It's a great daily facial treatment! It's a great routine to start getting into. And of course it's a facial wash! It washes your face with a classic St. Ives Apricot smell. What more could you want?

There isn't much more I can say about this product except that you can get it for aproximatly $2.50 at Walmart or K-mart, and you can find it at almost any store! It's a 3 in 1 product! Try this face wash!

I have used St. Ives Apricot Scrub for many years now (I'm 22). It exfoliate and smooths out my face. It feels good when using and for a few days after as well. I recommend this product to anyone interested in a fair priced exfoliant that works great.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub kept my skin incredibly clear and soft...for the first couple of weeks. I noticed my skin was getting soft-and staying completely clear-until I began having an allergic reaction to one or more of the ingredients. To this day, I don't know what it was I had the allergic reaction to, but my skin became extremely irritated-red, itchy, blotchy, and I broke out-until I discontinued use of this product.

I bought this product years ago after living with acne since I was 13-14 years old. I would try everything I possible could and nothing worked. I even tried old fashioned remedy's such as using proxide. Proxide it turns out just dries out your skin completely and it makes it even worse. After about a month of use I saw my skin become clearer, more even toned, less blemishes and blackheads. After 2 months it was completely gone.

Now in this economy, this product is not cheap around 9-12 bucks on a single tube (depending upon where you live). But this works....... I was tempted to even go to a dermatologist but I don't honestly need that.

Now I have been using this for about 7 years now and I say buy it, use it and see the difference. If you don't like it.......they even have a guarantee on it. You don't like it full money back. What can't you possibly loose with this product? I know I didn't loose anything.
