Final Fantasy 7 is the seventh entry in the fabeled Final Fantasy series. It has an engaging storyline and pretty darn good music. I would personally reccomend this game even if you're only a little interested in RPG's. This is a game that every game library should not be without. It has a plot, character-development, and great graphics. FFVII is definetely better than FFVIII and is a lot more fun to play. It has an exciting story line with plenty of plot twists and the materia system works real well because no one character is the strongest like in other Role playing games. Every one of the characters are very interesting and you never want to just stop playing it and I mean EVER!! It's like reading a novel you can't put down. There are times throughout the adventure that you laugh, get mad, and even cry like a little girl (no offense to little girls worldwide). The story starts of kind of slow, so will have to give it some time, but you won't regret playing it. Cloud...

A ton of people say that this is one of the greateat video games of all time, but it's hard to argue if you have played this game. Basically, the game revolves around a mercenary named Cloud Strife and the development he goes through during the three disc adventure against the evil Shinra Corporation. There are many memorable allies that join Cloud in his quest. Barret, Tifa, Cid, Red XIII, Cait Sith and Aeris are all as important as Cloud in their own ways. There are also 2 hidden characters that you can "convince" to join your party. There are magic spells that are used by attaching crystals called "Materia" to your weapons and armor. It sounds complicated, but it's easy once you get the hang of it. The fighting is typical turn-based combat, which isn't for everyone, but the enemies are cool so it shouldn't matter all that much. Overall, I give this game a score of 9.5, but that's just my opinion. Final Fantasy 7 rocks!

I love Final Fantasy, I have been a fan since the NES days, however no matter what platform you have this is the best final fantasy there is. Of course being a fan I may be a bit partial but the beauty of final fantasy is that the character changes but the game play doesn't and it's new user friendly BUY IT...

I love final fantasy games. Final fantasy 7 has the best story line, the best characters, and by far..the best bad guy. Sephiroth is the bad guy you want to like. I have played this game hundreds of times, and enjoy it every time as much as the first time I played it....

Final Fantasy VII is what made Squaresoft's name known in the gaming world. A gripping storyline sure to keep you playing until the end credits. This game is full of many plot twist and turns. The graphics were great for their time. The Characters are memorable. Memorable, heart-wrenching scene. 5/5 Stars

Absolutely Marvelous Game. Well ahead of its time with the powerful Materia system. Story Top Notch as I still play it 10 years later. The graphics outside of battle leave something to be desired but I'm sure can be corrected for the next major anniversary for the Final Fantasy series. With the new arrival of an incredibly classic game Final Fantasy IV for Nintendo DS marks the 20th Anniversary of the Series but this is not the last anniversary they will exploit......

Final Fantasy 7 what is there to be said about the game. Well, not much but lets see what I can say. The game orginally came out internationally on October 2, 1997 and has been one of Square soft or should i say square enix most memorial game in the series of 12 games and couting(not couting x2 or spin offs of VII). Coming out with a movie with some new spin off games and selling over millions of copys worldwide. You are most liking asking thought what makes this game so great to spark such intrest. Well to tell you the truth I can't tell. To be completly honest at the time when I played this game I didn't think it was that good. It had ok gameplay and indepth story that shakey all around.

The game didn't do much to to innovate or change much to RPG like all Final Fantasys it has turn base combat which is one of the worst ways imho to do combat. I really wish they had combat system simlar to secret of mana or something to that affect. Just resently Square change this in there......

Many of you people like this game. althought i am a final fantasy tycoon and love final fantasy i hate this one. infact i wrote this reveiw while playing final fantasy 12. anyways dont waste your money on this game. the graphics aren't bad because its old its because of sheer lazyness of the graphic designers who were all fired after the initial release in america. the games storyline is that of whitch a 2 year old can comprhend the gameplay sucks and the style of battle sucks. the honestly word part about it is the materia sytem. if you were thinking about byeing this game i hope this reveiw change your mind...

Tis is hands down the best Final Fantasy game ever made. The story is phenominal, graphics where top of the line at the time and controls are very easy. The summons are beautiful. Everything about this game is perfect down to the last detail. I would be unable to say a single negative thing about it...

I had alot of fun playing this one. I found the fighting system challenging, but fun. Wasn't big on Cloud's never ending angst fest, but enjoyed the storyline alot....

FF7 has the best storyline of any final fantasy game ever. its super addicting, and makes you feel like a nerd when your still going on about how great it is over 10 years after it came out. I wish they would remake it for 360 or ps2 with better graphics and better fighting (nothing against turn based combat but ive evolved)....oh and FF7 advent children was a kick ass movie...

Final Fantasy VII for the Sony Playstation here is one of the most important and most over hyped video games ever created. This game was the big sequel to the highly acclaimed Final Fantasy III (yeah, it's very confusing when they jumped from 3 to 7 since North American gamers got screwed over with the other games) for the Super Nintendo. The makers of Final Fantasy (Squaresoft) wanted to move the popular role playing series over to the CD based Playstation so they could really take advantage of extra memory and make something the world hadn't seen before. So did it live up to all the hype? You bet Tifa's sweet a$$ it did!

In this game you play the role of a dude named Cloud. It may sound like a wussy name but you wouldn't want to meet this guy in a dark alley because he's a highly trained ex-soldier with 6 foot tall sword. With the help of his friends Cloud is on a mission to stop the evil Sephiroth before he destroys the entire world with a comet. Believe me this game has a massive story......
