The plot is not that complicated, so it's easy to follow and that's a plus. However, there are things that Peter/Spider-man does that made me think when i watched it, "He would never do or act like that." And this is before he comes across the alien symbiote costume.

For example, when he shows off in Spidey-gear in front of the Bryce Howard character (i forget her name) and kisses her...

As far as the action , I have to confess that throughout all 3 of these movies the CG-animated Spiderman never really worked for me. I've always thought that the maker of the movies should have relied more on motion-capturing in the swinging sequences. But that's just me and I digress.

I think the ending is too inconclusive. Not to give anything away (I guess if you're reading this review and haven't seen the movie yet, you must not mind spoilers too much), I would have liked a more definitive word on the Peter-MJ relationship.

Overall, I think this installment is not as good as the previous 2, and...

The action sequences are, for the most part, spectacular. The fight scenes live up to the standards set by the previous Spider-Man films, yet it’s when Raimi allows Maguire as Parker a few quiet moments to reflect on life that the film really comes close to matching Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 in tone. Maguire has grown into the part and Spider-Man 3, while not the best of the lot, features his best performance of the series. The same can be said of James Franco who redeems himself after a series of bad film choices by making Harry into a multi-layered character such as we haven’t seen in the previous two outings.

Bruce Campbell steals the film as a French restaurateur who tries to help Peter pop the question. Topher Grace and Thomas Haden Church are also terrific, with the totally buffed up Haden Church selling the part of a desperate dad without the benefit of much dialogue. Spiderman 3 was widely panned by critics for losing focus of the previous two movies. I disagree. The main problem with Spiderman 3 was the amount of characters used for villians. That seems to be the norm for most superhero movies though-- just adding another character. Take the original Batman for example. The original villian was the Joker. The second movie was Penguin and Catwoman. The third was Riddler, Two-Face, and Robin. The fourth installment had Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, the big dude, and Batgirl. Thank goodness that series ended and the Batman Begins/Dark Knight saga began. I understad Spiderman 4 will come back to earth a bit with less villians, more plot. That should help. I liked the evil spiderman suit from Spiderman 3, and it became a big seller as far as merchandise goes. The corniness of the movie was annoying at times, too, but remember-- it's based on a comic book, not a novel. Certainly a story the kids enjoy. My son can't stop watching...

Spider-Man 3 has it all. The Sandman enters, Spider-Man goes black then comes back, and Venom is unleashed. The new goblin gets amnesia, remember he hates Spider-Man then remembers he's a good friend. Parker wants to ask Mary Jane to be his and has trouble asking as she gets on broadway and then gets kicked off. It's so good you'll be begging for a fourth.

I like the movie called Spiderman 3 because it had all the key elements to the making of a great movie. I like the fact that it had so many characters who had super powers. I love super heroes. My favorite one was the Sandman. Yet there was also the son of spidermans last enemy from spiderman 2. Now the great thing about the Sandman was that I think that spiderman would have never beat him. He had a moment of clarity, Sandman, and thats the only reason he stop fighting spiderman. Seems to me that can create a whole new spiderman 4 or 5 just to bring back the Sandman. I also enjoyed the fact that spidermans women M.J. loved him so much and she also had a special love for spidermans best friend. The story line was sad because even though they had a special friendship between the three of them growing up since childhood, circumstances caused the writer to let spidermans boyhood friend die. The fact that his best friend found out the truth about the events that went on between his father and...

Spiderman delivers again wtih another hit movie, they keep you guessing to the end, but, in the end, it is the worst of the 3 spiderman movies, but it definitely doesn't take away from it. the whole emo peter parked was a little iffy.

This spider man movies is a good movie. The special effect was pretty goods. I don't like it any much as the first two spider man movies but it not bad. I would recommand it to other. It also a goods movie to watch with kids too. You would wanted to watch the first two first before watching this one because it connect together. The story are all connected together so it easier to understand if you watch the first two first.

I am not a fan i spinder man 3. I love the first one and second one but the third one not so much. My litle brother want to see this movie so badly so i went with him. All i want do was to go to a different room and watch something else. I am not really in this type of movies. Spider man three is so borring to me. Sorry for the fan....

i loved this movie, i think there all allways be another movie spiderman wont stop, its a continuis cycle , but evry one shold love this movie if they dont they need to stop being uptight and expaned there mids trust me it makes life more fun to be opened minded, but i dont want to say tomuch but i love this movie and its one of my favorits. it is also a good movie for the hole family to watch theres not much profanity in it at all so it makes the younger watchers envolved along with the old heads that and spiderman lovers theres more than you think. but its yours truly jamie cornelius thiks for taking the time to read this have a great holidays.
