I brought mine off Ebay for $27 without the straps. I attached 2 regular bra-straps to it and put it on. All I have to say is...OMG!!!! This shapewear is the best I have ever used. Initially when I took it out the package it looked very small, but it went on without any problems. I am almost 2 months post liposuction surgery and I am using spanx slim cognito as a compression garment. My body looks great!! A perfect hourglass. It sucks you in where you need and wont give that flat pancake booty everyone hates. My thighs look amazing also. I have since brought another one off Ebay for $34. I highly recommend this and hope they never stop selling this. I see bad review for this due to the straps not working good, but just do what I did....Buy it without straps and attach regular bra straps to it. I love it so much, I just feel so sexXy when I wear it. Thank you Spanx!!

The company's customer service is non-existent. I made a number of requests via e-mail to have a customer service representative contact me and the company has refused to do so. They do not stand by their faulty product or care about their customers in any way. I'm not surprised that they are not registered with the better business bureau seeing as how they would have many negative reviews. This company does not care about their customers and are very clear about that.

I've tried many brands and styles of "shapewear" so when I saw this new Slim Cognito by Spanx, I was excited to see that it had attachments to hold the garment to your bra. In the past I've found that the styles with bra attached never fit right, and the ones without a way to secure the top of the garment to a bra rolled down. When my order arrived, the first thing I did was get my favorite bra and attach the straps to the center, and both sides, and this DOES work to keep the material from rolling. BUT.....and here is what I meant by "unmentionables", when you have to go to the bathroom, the opening at the crotch area is either too small or not positioned correctly because there's no way to pee without getting the pee on the material!! Please pardon this, but the ability to go to the bathroom in one of these things, in my opinion, is very important, PARTICULARLY when you have the thing attached to your bra and unable to be pulled down! Easy solution for this problem is for Spanx......

I purchased Spanx Slim Cognito Mid Thigh Body Shaper in Feb. The large was huge on me so I called to do an exchange. They said they would send a Med and credit me for the return when they received it. When I didn't get a credit I called several times and was told they may not have processed it yet, try back. Later I was told that they had changed their customer service company and couldn't look up my order anymore, that they would have to put in a request and someone would call me back within 24-72 hrs. I called three times and no one ever called me back. The kicker is that my credit card company can't file a dispute now because they put me off for more than 60 days. Now I am out the $72 for the return AND out $72 for the medium because even in the correct size I think this product is WORTHLESS!!! Even with the bra loops is falls down and it does not suck me in as well as my other shapers. Yes, it is more comfortable, but who cares if it doesn't get the job done!!!!!!!!! ...

Fat little old me! I saw Spankx shapewear on TV news and thought, "That's for me!" I ordered the Spanx Slim Cogneto and found, much to my disappointment, that even with the attachments that fit to the bra, the garment kept slipping down, rolling up at my upper waiste. The Spanx Slim Cognito did make me look more curvy and less fat but all night long, I was pulling the damn thing up. Hell of a waste of $72.00. I need not say that this product is fairly expensive. While I am disppointed with the Spanx Slim Cognito, I plan to buy, and try, the Spanx Hide and Sleek Full Slip, maybe it won't roll down like the Spanx Slim Cognito. At least I hope so....

I bought the Slim Cognito Spanx at a department store about 2 weeks after having my first child (2 years ago). I still wear this wonderful, slimming undergarment (2 years later).

The Slim Cognito is an undergarment that goes up over your panties to right under your bra. It's like a modern-day girdle, if you will.

I am unsure of the material it is made out of, but it does stretch. I bought the nude color for around $55. It seemed pricey at first, but considering all the use I've gotten out of it (as well as compliments as to how good my body looks after having back-to-back children), I'd say it was money well spent!

There are other products out there by Spanx, but this is the only one I've tried and liked.

I've worn it under dresses, jeans, shorts and skirts. It is discreet and even takes care of panty-lines!

I recommend this product to every woman out there who wants to slim down the belly temporarily without having to suck in her stomach all night!

One word of caution: it does...
