Spanx Higher Power

Though it gets many favorable reviews by the 'rich and famous', I myself was not impressed and very disappointed with the results. It wasn't any more slimming or firm holding than a pair of controll top panty hose. Putting them on is not so easy either but hey, if you're looking to spend a bunchof money for minimum results, then go for it and have fun pulling these up :o)

This product was just okay. It did not last long. It eventually wore out. My friend introduced me to the body magic and I absolutely love this garment. I did pay more for it but it is very sturdy. It lifts my butt and breats, corrects your posture, slims your waist, ans provides exceptional back support. I absolutely love the product. I purchased it at ardsslife.com/tcrew

Finally a chance to wear the sassy little Grecian style dress I got for Mother's Day. I admit I avoid wearing dresses, even though I actually prefer them. Or I did until my children thought it was fun to lift them up and play hide and seek during mass. When I purchased my dress the sales staff suggested Spanx a Higher Power to not only give me a smoother line, but to cover me a bit more should the girls be playing under my skirts again.

I have read the reveiws, seen the show where Oprah features these and heard celebrities and everyday women state how wonderful these are. I know I could wear my Spanx Higher Power Everyday, but had my doubts about their comfort and slimming. But I was willing to try it once if it made my dress look that much better.

I learned quickly, there is a trick to pulling on the Spanx Higher Power, roll them like you would a pair of panty house. I was actually able to get them on and in position fitting my waist nicely in just moments. To be honest...

I have been trying different products by spanx for a while now and I have yet found one that fit my needs, but also remain comfortable. I ususally would purchase the "All the way Super Control" panty hose, but found that after wearing them for about an hour or so, the top part begin to roll. Within the last 2 months, I have purchased 2 different products. I purhased the "Hide & Sleek" full slip for $72 hoping that it would be comfortable and it would address the roll down problem I had previously experienced with just the hose. It did solve the roll down problem, but after about an hour of sitting at my desk and getting up to walk around the office, the slip part roll up! I was very disappointed. I have recently purchased the "High-Flautin Footless" hosiery, my problem with that is I am 5'2 and it kills my rib bones underneath my bra line. This is the most uncomfortable feeling I have experienced from a support garment. I thought that the spanx product line would be a good line to...

Iam a mom of one and needed a little aid in getting back to my prebaby body.... high powered panties did the trick. Comfy and definitley do what they say they do:) They price tag is not to bad but I want the slimming body suit but at 100 I just can't do it... would like to but cant! Make sure you get the right size otherwise you will have issues!...

Spankx has nothing on the skinny (see the skinny slimmer). I own several and have never had a bit of trouble with and of the skinny products but have had issues with Spankx. If you don't like Spankx Higher power then check out the skinny!!!...

I really like this product. I have tried other high wasted its and they just roll with every movement. The high wasted spanx product stays in place great. Its a little hard to get into and a little pricey, but once you get past those things its worth it. The open crotch area is nice too. Much easier to go to the bathroom....

Spanx well, I can tell you that I loved the infomercial and I thought, "Wow, lighter fabric then the support wear you can by at Dillards, it couldn't hurt. When I received them I found out that they are a thinner material however my butt looked line one huge Uni-butt! I found that it is better to just stick with the thicker fabric ones that you get in the store that are not Spanx, also they might be a little more expensive but they still have better support and you look more natural in them without all of your rolls or flab showing. Plus the store bought ones stay up, where I found the Spanx roll down. I wouldn't buy them if you are a size 16 or higher, you will most likely be dis-satisfied. However; if you are already slim and just needing to smooth out a few lumps, you will probably like them....

So after reading a bunch of the reviews on Spanx Higher Power, I figured what the heck and bought a pair. I figured what could be worse than sometimes looking all rolly polly in a nice dress.

Now keep in mind that I'm 35, 5'2" (on a good day) and about 200#. In tops I wear an XL and in bottoms an 18W. I have a well defined waist and a hefty mid section. Being comfortable with my body is something that I've finally been able to acheive and now I love wearing sleveless dresses in the summer.

But most of my dresses are the Rayon fabric that hug and show every buldge and muffin top. When I got the Spanx I was a bit unsure, then I tried them on with a dress and was so pleased with the results!

I found I was inbetween sizes so I went with the "E" and with my husbands help in pulling up the back, I now wear my Spanx with all my dresses!

So my opinion is that it's worth the money!!...

Spanx are great! Yes they are a little pricey but if it works, so what? I don't have any problems getting into mine and I am over 50 yrs old and of course like most my age not as slim and fit as I once was. But I cannot understand all the other complaints about the time it takes to get into the product especially from some of the younger crowd. Maybe your size was too small. I went by what was on the package and it worked fine for me. I had tried the Hanes, Fleexees and other brands for so many years and until I tried these I did not know what I had been missing. Sorry I had not broke down and purchased the product sooner. I will be a return customer for a long time....
