Southwest Airlines is a great airlines. It is nice that they offer gift packages on the internet. People can obtain an airline ticket cheap by participating in the Southwest Airlines free trial. The free trial is offered to try to get people to try the airlines. Southwest offers a great deal and is one of the better airlines. Also, it travels to several major cities, which makes this airlines special.

At the moment, I am purchasing an airline ticket for a family member. I will be using the free trial offer, which was posted on the internet to obtain the ticket. With this offer, it seems as if I can purchase the ticket for about $40.00. This is really a cheap way to travel. With this kind of price, I am sure that the Southwest Airlines can acquire new customers. Most people would never miss out on a cheaper airlines. With this cheap ticket, new customers can find out about the airlines. For sure, new comers will find that the Southwest Airlines is great.

I had my first flight with Southwest 2 weeks ago and it was a great experience. Flights were on time, and everything went smoothly. Best part is no baggage fees and a great price to boot. I hope they continue to expand their flight destinations.

Parents, please DO NOT book your children/college students on Southwest. They may very well get left behind one or two days because of their over booking policies. Try booking their tickets early with any other airline and you will get really good prices. It really is a cattle cart. It feels like your getting on an inner city bus staffed with metro attendants, rude and unprofessional. No seat assignments, no boarding order. Groups always get split up because they over book the flights by 10 to 20 people. Someone has to miss the flight no matter how far in advance you have booked. Also, when you get bumped off, and trust me, sooner or later you will, you will have to settle for a flight with 1 to 2 stops even when your original flight was a non-stop. Out of the last 5 trips, I have gotten bumped 2 times. It ends up costing more by the time you pay for the missed hotel night, dinner reservations and shows. I have gotten stuck in airports, slept through snow storms and cancelled flights,...

My husband and I began using Southwest Airlines quite a few years ago. We are always completely satisfied with the experience they provide. I really like the online checkin because the sooner you check in the sooner you get to "pick your seat". They board people by groups A, B, and C. If you hurry and sign up 24 hours prior to your flight, you have better chance at getting into the A group 1-15. And once you board, you choose whereever you want to sit. I really like that. When you check in online, you can print your tickets.You can bring 2 bags and they fly free! One thing I noticed is that when they are explaining the safety features, they try to do it in a comical way, and honestly, it helps me to relax, because I don't like to fly, but I like to get places quickly. All in all, we found that southwest airlines is very accomodating to their customers. It's always our first choice because they have great prices and great web specials!

I Love SOUTHWEST AIRLINES! I love that they are rarely late and they are reasonable! I fly SWA every chance I get and promote this airline to my friends every time they ask what airline I use to travel.

HOWEVER... I would like to caution anyone who plans on booking based off the 'special offers' SWA promotes for extra rapid rewards credit. I recently started booking my rental car thru SWA as well once I saw that I could get triple credits by using Alamo rental car. (I have always used Enterprise). I rented the car and it was an 'OK' experience. I debated whether it was worth it to do the same two weeks later and felt that it would be great getting the extra credits. However...I have had to call SWA's rapid reward center to try and get the credits posted. It has been over a month and still no difference.

I also took advantage of the new flights to and from Boston for DOUBLE credits. I was informed that I needed to register (which I did and they acknowledged)...

I love southwest airlines because they don't charge me to bring my clothes and toiletries. You know, a must when you travel. Not only do we get hit with all the other "fees" the airlines now sock it to you again by charging $15 for the first bag and $25 for the second bag - ONE WAY! This is why I love Southwest airlines. They have great deals to destinations we fly to which is always a bonus.

I flew from Seattle to Albuquerque with my 1 month daughter and was just amazed at how nice the Southwest crew was in helping me load and unload from the plane. Traveling with an infant and all her necessities plus mine makes it hard for just one person to handle.

Plus, Southwest was the only airline that had a reasonable rate for us to fly versus the other airlines. I save over $200 on my roundtrip flight into Albuquerque and back home to Seattle. Alaska wanted over $500 for that flight and I paid just over $300 after the taxes.

Our family will fly Southwest airlines from now on.

It speaks volumes when the captain of the plane comes down the runway to help load a wheelchair passenger onto the airplane. I always see such teamwork with the flight crews. I love that you get to choose your own seat- just check in 24 hours in advance online and you're one of the first people on the plane. THe flight attendants are always checking on you to see if they can get anything for you- it's great. It makes you feel like you are sitting in first class no matter where you are seated on the airplane. I notice things like this because I was once on a different airline and saw one of the pilots insult one of the flight attendants- so I notice things like this. I almost exclusively fly Southwest Airlines- and when I don't or can't I am quickly reminded why I love Southwest Airlines- it's all about their customer service and they are number one everyday in their great customer service!!!

I'll going to jump right into to the pros and cons of Southwest Airlines for you:

Pros:

* One of the most cost efficient airlines

* The flight attendants are polite and usually very humorous

* The airline is usually on time

Cons:

* No pre-assigned seats

* Since there aren't pre-assigned seats, it can become "every man for himself" during the boarding process as everyone scrambles for the windows and aisles as to not become stuck with the dreaded middle seat

* The seats are rather close together leaving you with that cattle car feel

I recommend Southwest for short flights were you won't mind if you end up in the middle, but it might be worth the extra money for longer flights to ensure that you get the space you want.

Southwest is perfect for the air traveler that likes a bargin and likes to do-it yourself. It's usually cheaper than others and never charges for checking baggage. Even as a budget airline you get refreshments and nice sized leather seats. I think there is more room than in other airlines. Last flight the stewardess making announcements was a standup comedian, she was extremly entertaining, so much that I actually started paying attention to what she was saying when she made announcements.The flights were packed completely full but still comfortable and the peanuts and drinks were deliverd with a smile. You know I actually like logging on 24 hours before the flight and printing my boarding pass. If I cannot get to a computer at that time I can pay extra to print my boarding pass early a nice touch. I prefer flying on Southwest for many reasons, even when the government is paying for my flight.

We fly Southwest often. For the price you really can't beat their airfare. One way tickets for $39+ are a great way to travel without hurting your wallet. I like that you can check two bags for free which is nice because I'm a female with a small child and we tend to pack a lot! its nice to be able to sit where you like. I also think the snacks on board are usually decent. Its good that they offer peanut free flights for people with allergies. Very friendly staff. I got very ill on my last flight and the staff was kind, helpful and understanding. For the price we have been very happy with the airline. I do have a few complaints of course. My last flight it was obvious no one had cleaned the area where we sat. A child before us had spilled snacks everywhere and no one cleaned it up. I wish they'd use the sweeper and wipe down the seats between flights. So cleanliness was my only real complaint. I also wish that they would still allow preboarding for small children. It...

Overall, southwest airlines does a really good job. Anymore, there aren't many luxuries on the big carriers, but Southwest still includes a smile and comfortable legroom throughout their fleet of 737s. with a quick turnaround and convienent schedules, southwest is my consistent airline of choice.
