I can not say enough good things about the Sony MDR headphones. I started researching different headphones that claimed to be comfortable. My old set killed my ears not to mention they did not filter out any noise whatsoever. For me the noise filtration of this Sony set was an added bonus. Another nice feature was the case. Love it. It prevents tangles and lets me get to my gym workout much sooner because I am not wasting time untwisting the cord. I was very impressed with the comfort and they actually stay put. Nothing worse than running on the treadmill and your buds keep popping out of your ears. I also received an extra set cushions that fit over the buds. They are also very durable so I feel I got my monies worth. If you want comfort, extras and decent noise filtration these are the buds for you. Don't but these if you are searching for high level noise filtration...professional quality they are not...but for everyday use at the gym or even blocking out the kids at home these will...
...

These are not really that good. Personally, my favorite headphones are the JBuds J2 earbuds from http://www.JLabAudio.com .

I just got an advanced pair, they don't officially come out until the 28th of November on Amazon. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of the Onyx Black JBuds J2 and they sound GREAT!

You can get the details on them at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GS8FZ2 .

I've had them for a few weeks and they're the best headphones I've ever owned. They are extremely comfortable and very durable....

The Sony MDR-EX71SL Consumer Headphones rock. I use them on my i pod and the sound is amazing. The are comfortable to wear and they don't slip like some others that i have tried. They really keep the noise out too. I hardly notice the noise around me when these are in. I like that they are small and compact and i can just toss them in a bag without anything happening to them....

I bought these headphones because usually sony makes good, lasting products, but this is just silly. I spent alot for them and within 2 days the left bud just died and made this god aweful fuzzy noise. 2 days! so i went and got some bose headphones....still got em and they have better audio quality and sound proofing,
...

These headphones are not only lightweight, but don't hurt your ears even when flying cross-country. The sound quality is great and the sound stays in your ears so others can't hear what you're listening to. These headphones stay in your ears even while at the gym, including running. ...

This headset works really well for the price you are paying. It gives suprior sound quality compared to other headsets. You can hear everything crystal clear, and it has a good volume level. You are getting your money's worth.

I have found a few issues with the headset for certain people. People who have ear problems could have some issues with this headset. After a few hours of constant wear it does begin to hurt the inner ear because of the way it sits in your ear. In my own household I have two children which use these headsets. They cannot wear the headset after a certain amount of time because it begins to hurt them and turn their ears a shade of pink/red.

The headset is a good one, but not for extended use. I would still recommend it to others, but just not for myself.
...

These are fairly priced and us parents don't have to listen to whatever our teens are listening to when they use these headphones!!!!!! I have two teenagers and they are always listening to their music. The horrible part is when they really like the song that they are listening to, us as parents also have to listen to that same song with them!!!! My son bought a pair of these headphones and I can't hear that screeching coming out of his ears like usual. The only bad thing about them is that when he has them on, he can't hear a thing that I say to him unless I am standing right next to him. The fun part of these headphones is that I can sneek up on him and scare him to death because unless he is looking at me, he can't hear a thing....

These are nice mid-level headphones by Sony.
Good sound, nice bass.
The design blocks out external noise fairly well.

These earbuds are stylish and come with several bud covers for a customized fit.
The cord is just the right length and detachable in the middle in case you accidently yank it.

These earbuds are great for the gym or jogging. I don't have any problems with the buds falling out.

Overall a good product, not the best sound in the market, but good for mid-level headphones.

...
