I've never seen my family so addicted to any video game. Both my husband and the kids all love it. I can't get past the easiest part of course! Great songs on this version, and my son has been able to get new songs. Although the kids have complained some about the guitar's sensativity. The guitar is cool looking and comes with stickers to personalize it as well. It's a nice diversion to see everyone in the family room not watching or participating in a bloddy, gory game. The music is great and even if you're not playing, you can at least enjoy sitting in the room listening. We like this one so much that we plan on buying the new world tour version as well.
...

I was amazed that i actually enjoyed playing the guitar hero on the ps3. but I found that they didn't have a lot of songs on guitar hero 3 that i would have expected and it let me down. Unless its on easy playing is way out of my league. Expert is rediculous! AC DC should have been on there at least once if not like 5. I was highly disappointed!!...

bionicle123 says "This game totally rocks me out" about Sony - Guitar Hero 3

This game is awesome!!! The only thing that is boring is that you can't see your band playing like in Rockband. Either way, this game toatally rocks!!!!!!! If you love to play the guitar, wait till you play this game. You will be playing it for hours. Trust me, this has happened to me already. It has some really cool rock songs and whats even better is that there are four modes of difficulty. Each mode adds one butoon more to press and the speed of the notes is more faster. I just hope that i do not get arthritis or that will really suck....

fitster says "very addictive, sometimes frustrating awesome game!" about Sony - Guitar Hero 3

The first thing that struck me with Guitar Hero 3 is the music. It is awesome. Appropriately, the songs rock! It was a little disappointing to find that unlike the Guitar Hero for PS2, only one disc/set of songs were available for PS3's. But I got over my disappointment and soon moved to determination as I found my crowd meter go read as I made mistake after mistake while playing. When I was comfortable with the chords and got the beats down though the video game "crowd" was cheering and I felt like a real Guitar Hero.
...

It's fun and amazing. Rock out loud with this game. The wireless gutiar is a nice addition to this game. Some of the best rock songs are in this game and range from old classics like I Wanna Rock and Roll All Night and Slow Ride to Parinoid and Black Sunshine to new songs from Disturbed, Slipknot, and Muse and Killers. A must have for all true rockers....

pinzydoodle says "Best video game in 2007" about Sony - Guitar Hero 3

Guitar Hero 3 is the best video game in 2007. This game is for all ages, and can be played as a single player or multiplayer. It is a hands on game, doesn't have a regular controller but a guitar that works with the television and game cd. Guitar Hero 3 is an attention grabber to everyone, even adults! There are so many songs you can play and learn. It is a fun game to play when everyone is around, or by yourself. There are different difficulty levels to pick from; beginners, medium, hard or expert. The only thing about this game that I do not like is, after playing this game for a long period of time, your fingers, hands and wrists start hurting. But other than that Gutiar Hero 3 is my vote for the best Christmas gift of 2007.
...
