My original Sony Ericsson Walkman style phone was a piece of crap. I couldn't hear over it, at all. Neither could the caller hear me. Additionally frustrating was the fact that the phone continually hung up on callers mid-call, and occassionally even shut itself off mid-call. Very frustrating when you're on hold with someone at DirectTV!!! It was pink and pretty...pretty, but useless. The company replaced that phone with a newer, better made model, the Sony Ericsson W760a.

Although the new phone is a boring grey, no pretty pink or green this time...I enjoy this phone much, much more. I have none of the problems that I had with it's predecessor. I never lose calls, unless it's my fault... My kids absolutely love the camera, and all it's options. I love the fact that, even if I forget my video recorder, I can still record video of my kids performances, etc. on my phone. And the quality is good enough to post to my fb account! Plus, I have my own little mp3 player...

The Sony Ericsson w760a takes great pictures. I have not found another phone that compares to the quailty of pictures. The only reason I keep the phone was for the pictures. There are a few bugs wrong with this phone that have me looking for another one. The first thing I notice was it would freeze up alot. It has the habit of just shutting off one its own. I would sometimes find that there was nothing showing up on the phone from the memory card and would have to shut it off and take out the battery and then it would read the memory card. The phone has and at&t has no idea why but it completely wiped out my whole entire memory card all the pictures,videos and ringtones. I had to get a new phone so far this one has been fine but its only been a few days. If you are thinking of getting this phone you might want to make sure that any pictures or videos are down loaded out of your memory right away just in case. I really do like the phone it is very easy to use and navigate thru. If I knew...

The sony erricson w780a phone repeatedly has dropped calls even though the battery is fully charged and the so called "service" has plenty of bars. Others have noticed the volume low even though it has been incresed to the highest setting. It has also been difficult to find a M2 memory card for storage of MP3's, which is one of the only positives about the phone. The battery also seems to lose its charge quite quickly. AT&T has been contacted repeatedly on these issues and tell me that I live in a strong signal area even though there are dropped calls on a daily basis. It is also difficult to find things within the software and is not very user friendly. The design of the phone also allows unwanted access to the internet just from being in a pocket or purse. The camera seems to work ok however I purchased a cell phone not a camera. Overall I would not recommed this product to anyone however it is hard to determine what the real problem is, AT&T service or the sony erricson...

The Sony Ericsson w760a is a pretty good phone. I got mine free from the AT&T store new. I joined a line with my live in girlfriend. It came in a color called Fancy Red which looks pretty good. The apps it came with are pretty cool. It came with several demo games with motion sensor action. Only problem is the demos are so short, and the price to buy them is pretty steep, but worth it if you play with your phone alot. It is a slide phone, which I didn't want at first because I usually don't like open faced phones due to accidentally unlocking and pressing buttons in your pocket. But I have had very few cases happen with this phone. The internet works pretty well and is youtube compatible. Easy phone to figure out after a little playing with it. I did have a problem a this week with mine, though. (after 3 months) The back button stopped working, then shortly after all the buttons stopped working. But they quickly replaced it free of charge. Other than that, it has been a good phone.

The Sony Ericson W760 a is a slide phone offered by AT&T in three colors; red, black and silver. You name it and this phone has it with:

music player, mp3, and FM radio
media mail including games and ringtones
calendar, alarm, address book, call forwarding
the ability to multitask, call and data at the same time
txt, instant messaging and video messages
web browser
lightweight, sturdy and durable ( a teen keeps dropping it and it keeps on working)
talk time battery 3.5 hours (seems less when she is on it)
standby time 10 days (I have never seen that happen)

What we like about the Sony Ericson W760a Cell phone:

the easy and cool slide feature to access the txting and numbers
it's nice looking with large screen video
easy to use menu on front of cell phone
texting and music all day long
video/picture caller ID or ringtone caller ID
real life motion sensor - it changes music and shuffles items based on the phones movement so you can easily...

The Sony Ericcson w760a is a great all-around phone. This is not only the best phone that I have ever owned, and also the most expensive, but it is the only phone that I will use. I don't trust any other brand, Sony Ericsson is definitely the only brand that I will turn to when it comes to cellular phones. I'm a very picky person when it comes to technology, and this phone definitely passes my test with flying colors. I've had the phone for about 3 months now, and I have not had one problem with it. I'm very content with the phone, and I don't plan on upgrading for a long time to come. I definitely recommend this cellular phone to everyone who loves a compatible, user-friendly cellular phone that is worth the money. I can honestly say that I have had no problems with this cellular phone whatsoever. Not only does it satisfy my needs, but several of my family members also own this same exact phone.
