The good: The Sony Ericsson W810i is augmented by an attractive design; an improved keypad; great music quality; and a generous range of exceptional features, including Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera, an MP3 player, a memory card slot, and a speakerphone.

The bad: The Sony Ericsson W810i suffers from staticky call quality and glitchy music transfer software. Also, it lacks a Bluetooth stereo profile, and the integrated memory is limited to 20MB.

The bottom line: Sony Ericsson succeeds again with its third Walkman phone for the U.S. market, but the W810i brings only minor improvements over earlier models.

I've had the Sony Ericsson W810i for over 2 years, and am still using it today. This is my second Sony Ericsson phone; I'm always impressed by the quality of the brand. Most of their phones are known for having stylish designs, and this phone is no exception. It comes in a sleek black color that looks very sporty. I have dropped it many times, but it still works great and there are very few visible scratches.

It has many useful features including a 2 megapixel camera and video recorder and FM radio (headphones/headset included). It has other typical extras like a calculator, calendar, game demos, and animated backgrounds. This phone uses the memory stick pro duo, so if you need more space for music or photos, you can always buy more memory. I've found that a 2 GB memory card can easily hold a few hundred songs. The phone has relatively nice speakers for its size as well, so people can crank up their music handsfree too. There is also a dedicated volume button on the side that...

I first got a phone of this model three years ago. I was sad to see it go (or at least, I thought it had gone) a year and a half after I got it. This phone is very sturdy, and was the first of its kind to have some of the features it does. Two years later, after going through three other phones (for various reasons), I decided to purchase this model again and was so happy to receive it. I did notice a few things that could be improved, after owning a newer and similar model, such as being able to run more than one application at a time. But overall I am very happy with this phone. I also found out that the previous phone I had in this model was actually not destroyed. Even after dropping it to where it was totally submerged in water, and attempting to continue using it before it had dried, the only thing I killed was the battery. The Sony Ericsson Walkman cell phone is a great little phone. The size is perfect for keeping in your jeans pocket. The walkman is pretty good quality considering this is a cell phone. The only con of this phone is the keypad buttons are small. All in all a great phone!...

I tended to have a higher level of more dropped calls while ysing this new phone. The phone was small enough to fit into a pocket. It was just not the phone for me and what I wanted to do. It was not a personal selection. It was the best phone out of my 4 options....

The Sony Ericsson-Walkman W810i phone is great! I have the green color and I think it is the bomb! My favorite feature is the walkman, I plug it in when I am mowing & gardening, it actually drowns out the mower. I love that when you get a call the music stops and you are able to answer with one touch! I have had the phone for 2 1/2 months and have had no problems other than taking the time to learn all the features because there is sooooo many. I only charge the battery about once a week, and it has never died on me! The only thing I would even consider to complain about is: I feel that the camera is difficult to use (or at least not as easy as my old flip phone), which could be an operator malfunction! This is a cool, stylish, must have phone!...

I purchased a Sony Walkman Cell Phone and it is horrible. Little to no storage space without buying a memory card. I will admit to dropping it a few times, but it is literally falling apart. I had a cell phone that I ran over with my CAR and it was fine. This cell phone is not worth the rebate they give you so it's free....

I bought this Sony Walkman for my son, and I am not too impressed. It is a good value for the price, but it may be worth it to spend a bit more and get a more durable product. After only a few months it has stopped working. Battery won't charge at all. I'm going to see about having it serviced, but I will probably just buy a new, and different, product for him. This one has been pretty aggravating to work at times....

I have had this cell phone for about 2 1/2 years and am still in love with it. I used to change phones ever year as I always came across something that could meet my needs better. I meets my needs and is also very durable, can't say how many times I have dropped it and it still survives. This phone is easy to navigate and has something for everyone. It has an organizer for the organized (or one who needs to get organized), a camera for the artist and a MP3 for the music lover, among many other things. The camera takes some really good pictures. On a recent trip to Paris I ran out of battery on my regular camera and had to use the cell phone camera. The pictures came out great. The MP3 player to is really nice and easy to use, the software that comes with it makes it really easy to add music, videos and pod-casts among other things to the memory card that comes with the phone. You can also upgrade the memory by changing the memory card provided with one that has higher......

I purchased my Sony Ericcson Walkman phone because it had a lot of great features. I like the camera and video option. I like that it is a slider phone. It works great as an MP3 player. However, it is not very durable. I'm on my third one in less than a year. I haven't dropped it or anything, it just quits working and the keys are fragile....

I have had this phone for nearly 2 years now. It is a little on the large side but ok considering it's functionality.

My favorite feature is the 2.0mp camera with flash. The flash makes a big difference in dark settings when even a 10mp camera will come out blurry without flash. The daytime pictures of surprisingly good quality. My only complaint about the camera is that you have to hold down the capture button for quite a long time before the picture takes. This will often cause me to miss photo opportunities if they are fleeting. But, for a phone, it is pretty good.

The music player is easy to access also. I wish you could connect your headphones directly without the adaptor though. It means i have to carry that extra piece. The sound quality is great, especially the external speaker, though I wish it could go a little louder.

As a phone it works well. The only major problem is that I always have to remember to put on the key lock b/c if not then it will constantly dial......

Well, I have this phone. AT first it seems okay, but after having it a while it starts freezing up and messing up. It gets to the point sometimes that it won't let me use the 9,5,and 7 to text. Really annoying when you try to text your family when they they you are just not answering them.

This is the phone for me! I've had this phone for a year and a half now, and I've NEVER had a problem with it. The walkman feature is awesome! I use it to work out and for those neighborly walks and bike rides. It's great to have the music and phone together so you only have to carry one thing in your pocket. I love the radio feature too. I've used it at ball games and for tracking weather updates. The camera quality is excellent (don't try to send the bigger sized photos to your friends phones....they can't handle them too big!). The video clips are good too. I added a larger memory card (so I could add more music and take more pics) and have had no problems. The battery life on this phone is great. If I use it tons--it lasts for a couple days. If I just make a few calls and texts it lasts 5-7days! My husband has been drooling over my phone since I got it but waited for the iPhone 3G. His iPhone battery doesn't even last a day!!! All of my keys are intact,......
