Great DVD player. Long battery life (6 hours), nice screen, easy to use. It comes with a remote control and car adapter as well. The only bad thing is that the volume does not go as loud as I would like it to. I tried to use it in the hospital and couldn't quite hear it (unless using headphones), and it sounds a little tinny too....

This was a gift so I have no idea of the cost, but it is a fabulous DVD player. Sound is great, screen is great, easy to use....

We have had a few of the cheap portable DVDs for our kids to use on airplane or car trips, and they have not delivered. This time, we decided to get a name brand DVD player, and see how different things might be. This Sony model did not disappoint, and it was a bargain, too - $149 (no tax, no shipping) from Amazon, before Christmas. My 13-year-old son and his three siblings all gave it a thumbs-up.

We recently bought the Sony DVP FX810 at Best Buy. It is small, works well and seems to be very durable. The battery life lasted for a flight from Chicago to San Francisco. The biggest innovative feature is the screen that turns around and lies flat and the screen that seems to be made of a very durable material. Both perfect for kids who are holding it in their lap and dropping it. So far we are very happy with the Sony - DVP-FX810. ...
