The Sony Cyber-shot W70 is a relatively good option for the average or beginner digital camera owner. It offers several different photo options for different types of lighting. It's very easy to use. Compared to other cameras when I was comparison shopping, it seemed to be the best deal with the best features for the money. This included zoom, video recording, and a well lit and large viewing screen. By now it may be more obscelete than other cameras as it has been about 2 years since I purchased it.

It has certain limitations which are slightly frustrating. These include the inability to take a black and white photo even though it offers sephia and the video recording option does include a black and white feature. It also comes with a bland software management tool for uploading to the computer. It doesn't allow you to resize or manipulate photos in other aspects, which requires transfering the picture to another program such as Photoshop. It also fails to allow you to change the name...

The Sony Cybershot is an excellent digital camera if you simply want to take plain-jane photos. It does not have the features for Sephia and Black and White photographs, which I dislike, but that is about the only feature that I dislike about the camera. The pictures are very vibrant and nice. The camera is very nice for the price!

I love this camera! It takes awesome pics and video! Most of my pics appear as if they were taken with a professional camera! Great flash! Love the function wheel! Screen is large enough to see pics well! Easy to hook into computer and download pics. This camera is overall the best camera for the best price! I reviewed this camera all over the internet and it was always the best for the typical digital camera. The 7.2MP is great for amatuer, everyday use.

I've had my Sony Cybershot for about 3 years now and I've loved every second with it. The picture quality is fantastic, the camera is equipped with features varying from several outdoor settings to storage options. I also appreciate how easy to operate the camera is, you can start taking pictures without having to mess around with a lot of buttons. The camera is also very "accident" durable, as I've unfortunately dropped mine on concrete more than once and down the stairs - a few scratches but no fuction issues! :)

The battery life leaves something to be desired but you can get your most precious moments captured before you end up in a tight spot. Also, this camera isn't good for "action shots", typically if your subject matter isn't still - the picture will turn out blurry.

This is an great digital camera. It is compact and ready to take anywhere. It has high definition photos. Easy to download to laptop. It stores up to 500 photos. I have taken videos on it at the Chicago taste with live entertainment, like bands. I captured live dancing at the Navy Pier off Lake Michigan. Sound and photo are excellent quality. It has a good menu or selecting night, distance, closeups, and motion. Can easily delete unwanted photos. It also can do slide shows. The price is right. It was around $270 at Bestbuy. It was my first digital camera and is great for first time users from the old Olympus 35 MM film which I loved. I can reproduce for my scrapbooking very easily. Remember Sony Cyber Shot. I got pink. Comes in several colors.

My husband bought this camera and it is the easiest camera I have ever used. I have a newborn son and every time I take pictures I immediately download them to my computer and share with my family and friends. The only downside is to send video to share with family and friends they need to have the sony program to view it or you need to send it in a different format. I LOVE THIS CAMERA and have taken some of the best pictures of my life with my family with it!...

This camera is truly a great purchase! It takes great pictures, easy user interface, simple to use! Takes great photos and has the ability to take ten minute videos! It's very durable....

I have my camera for about a year and half its great small enough to put in your pocket the only thing that Im not to happy about I dropped the camera sent it to get repaired and 2 weeks later the piece fell off so you have to be careful with it

This camera is a good camera for the amateur photographer because it is slightly faster than most digital cameras that I have owned, but not as fast as the bigger models with the sophisticated technology. The camera battery life is awesome. I have two batteries and have never had the battery to fail -- even during a long event. The video capability of this camera is awesome. I love the fact that I can videotape pieces of my family's history with my digital camera. I love this camera and would recommend it to anyone....

This is the best camera I have ever had! The photos are sharp, the screen is large, and it is nice and compact! I would recommend it to anyone. I take my camera with me everywhere I go, so size is really important to me. This fits nicely in my purse, so I can capture a candid moment wherever I go. This is a must have for all the moms out there to document important events in their kids lives....

This is a great user friendly camera for everyday use. I've taken it on trips, to weddings, photographed family events, and it hasn't failed me yet. The only thing I'd like is slightly less delay between pressing the shutter button and capturing the image. In general, I'm very satisfied with my purchase....

This camera has lived up to it's expectations, and much more! We don't leave the house without it! It's pictures are great quality, as is the videos it takes. The sound and quality looks just like a regular camcorder. I would highly reccommend this camera to anyone!
