I am definitely technically challenged. I do NOT understand modern technology and confused with a lot of buttons and knobs. Typically, I had over everything electronic to my 13 year old son who somehow is able to instinctively understand it and set it up for his struggling mother.

I am the picture taker of the family. I don't think I've been actually in a picture since the late 1980's as I am ALWAYS the one behind the camera. That's fine with me because I enjoy capturing memories that our family can enjoy for years. After years of fighting the idea of a digital camera, confused at those I saw in the stores, I decided to give and go shopping for one of my own.

Best Buy is the BEST place to purchase electronics. The sales staff is so helpful and knowledgeable and really takes the time to explain things in a way I understand. When I went shopping for my new digital camera, I went to Best Buy. The salesman understood right away that I was very confused by all the features offered...

I received my Sony Cyber-shot camera as a Xmas gift from my daughter. It has gotten to a point where I take my camera with me everywhere I go. I absolutely love it. And for many reasons. I am not tech savvy so the simpler the better for me. This camera is simple enough for me to use yet has sooo many features that I haven't even used them all yet. My late husband swore by the tradional 35mm cameras until he saw the quality of photos I was producing with my digital camera. I also like the compact size. It fits in my purse easily and I've even stuck it in my pants pocket. In addition to all the great features like color mode e.g. color or black and white, numerous picture modes including auto shoot, shooting in snow and twilight, and video with audio, the ablity to download on to my laptop tops them all. What I really appreciate about it as I get older and my eyesight gets worse, I can see the picture I just took in great detail with the zoom feature. I can't say enough...

My husband bought me this camera as a Birthday gift 2 days before my first baby shower!! It was the best gift ever and certainly the most used one!! I'm not really that savvy with technology... I know how to use my computer, but I get confused easily on different things. This camera was so easy to use and understand from day one. I've later learned how to use the different features on it, but they were easy too. I love how slim it is so I can put it in my pocket when we're out somewhere, or it slips easily into a pocket in my purse with out being in the way. The zoom and picture quality are just amazing, and I love how easy it is to upload my pictures onto my computer witht he connection cable they provide. This camera is just over 2 years old and the battery is still awesome. It holds a charge forever! If I'm not mistaking, the batteries for these are quite expensive, and other brands I've heard of have had to replace the batteries already. I'm quite happy with the...

The sony cybershot W55 digital camera is a great camera that has multiple functions. We recently upgraded to this camera and love the quality of the pictures as well as the video the camera produces. The ability to transfer video over to dics and download the picturs and video to multiple media sources is wonderful. We feel it is small enough to not get in the way and is user friendly. We take alot of pictures and video and want quality for our memories. This product delivers and gives us the peace of mind to feel confident it will capture them with the ut most quality. It has cool features like smile seacher and face recognition which enhance the experience.

I have had the Sony Cybershot W55 for 5 years now and love the easy to use camera! This camera is awesome, the small size makes it easy to carry anywhere and I even slip it into my pocket when I don't feel like carrying a bag. The Cybershot easily keeps your pictures from becoming blurry even for my husband that has shaky hands. You can also change the setting for certain types of photos you are taking, such as scenery or people. Once you set the camera for the type of photo you are taking the camera does the rest to make the picture turn out beautiful. I love the zoom, I was able to take amazing photos of Mt. Rushmore from a distance and the zoom makes it look like I was close to the monument. It is easy to review photos you have taken by turning the switch and using the arrow keys to move back and forth between photos. I know that when this camera bites the dust I will definitely buy another one of these cameras, I might even get one for my son who is asking for a digital...

The Sony Cybershot is a nice little camera. It's 7.2 megapixels, small enough to fit in a pocket, and comes in different colors (ex: pink!). I bought this camera before my yearbook class. Because I always needed candid shots, I usually used ISO. No flash means no angry students that really don't want their face in the yearbook. I found that when I zoomed in using ISO, especially if it was dark, I could get some pretty terrible shots. However, when I use it outside on a bright, sunny day, I get amazing photographs. The camera also has video. My only complaint with video is that you can't zoom in while recording. So, I have a lot of footage where I missed something because I realized I was zoomed too far in or out and I had to stop the camera just to adjust the zoom. I found uploading to be very easy. No weird software to deal with- just plug it in, drag the photos or videos from one folder to another, and you're done. It's a nifty little camera.

The Sony-Cybershot W55 Digitial Camera takes clear profile shots. This camera will be good to use for sports teams. It would also be good to use at a Church musical. When I wanted a digital camera, I looked up all the information and read reviews. This is the camera that I wanted. I love this camera, with 4 kids I can now take all the snapshots I want. It has a memory card slot and you can even hook the USB up to a Playstation 3 and view your pics on your tv. Great camera and affordable.

I've been very happy with the Sony Cybershot camera. This is my second one only because I wanted to upgrade my older one. My sister also is on her second Sony Cybershot camera. It takes wonderful pictures. You can take video with it also. It's easy to learn and easy to upload pictures and videos to your computer....

I love my Sony-Cybershot W55 Digital Camera, I keep it with me everywhere i go. You never know when you may need a picture to rebember something you did or somewhere you went. it makes it easy to show the family what you want them to see. I have grandchildren and i love taking pictures and putting them on the computer to share with everyone. It is a easy way to keep track of celebrations and birthdays and holidays. Kids are always doing something cute. and i want to be ready to capture it on my cameria. The Sony-Cybershot W55 Digital Camera is a perfect tool to use for this. Small enough to take with you anywhere and yet able to take perfect shots for you. This is a great camera for beginner. The only I don't like about is the Memory Stick for Sony is very expensive. For Canon camera they use SD card, and it is much cheaper.

I was given this camera as a gift and find this camera to be great in every way, such as great price, easy to use, clear pictures, convenient to carry, stylish, never given me problems, battery lasts a long time, except...

The only problem I have with it is that it has no motion sensor, or image stabilizer or don't know what you call it. This is actually a huge problem for us because my mom travels a lot and a lot of the times she has to ask other people to take pictures for her, and a lot of times the pictures turn out slightly blurry. But I guess for the price that is okay =P
