      <description>When my Toshiba Cd player bit the dust I thought that I could get it easily fixed. I was so wrong. To peplace the &quot;beam&quot; in my Toshiba would cost more than it would cost me to buy a new CD player. My brother said that that was the way that they were built today. Throwaways! I did my homework and found that Circuit City had just what I needed and at a lower price than their competitors. Ordered online, picked up at the store and no shipping cost. Low cost extended warranty. I'm very happy and all is good! Nancy Peck... </description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Not a lot of CD player reviews here.&#160; This was fairly cheap, and works mostly OK.&#160; It's a 5 CD changer.&#160; The only problem is that sometimes it won't play a perfectly good CD.&#160; Opening and closing the tray fixes that.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;Otherwise, I think all CD players send essentially the same signal to the receiver, so sound quality shouldn't be an issue.&#160; I remember terms like 8x oversampling in the 1990s, but I figured that was important only for scratched CDs.&#160; I'm not a huge audiophile in that the music fidelity doesn't have to be perfect for me, but I do love music and want something that works.&#160; And this one usually does.&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
