"A smile can win million hearts" - there is no doubt about this. But most importantly, the smile needs the shining of your teeth. I used to smile with my lips closed, because i was to shy to show my yellow teeth. Yes, I am regular smoker and have been smoking for past 15 years. Earlier this year, my dentist told me that i have developed Gingivitis and my teeth bones are starting to decay. I need to take immediate action. He advised me to use Sonicare Elite toothbrush after my periodontal cleaning. As a general consumer, I was bit skeptical and hesitant in spending 100+ dollars. But I decided to buy it. That was probably one of best decision I took for my teeth, for my smile and overall for my personal appearance. This sonicare elite E9500 is exceptional. It goes to every corner of my teeth and removes the toughest stains. I have been using it for past eight months and every day my confidence is growing. Now I smile freely and more social now. I enjoy every moment of my outings with...
...

This is the second Phillips Sonicare toothbrush I have had. They are wonderful. It used to take over an hour at the dentist to clean my teeth(each 4 Months). Now it takes 25 min. The dentist can't beleive the change. I will NEVER change brands!!

I am not one to use fussy gadgets and electric toothbrushes have always seemed like more trouble than they were worth. However, once I tried this Sonicare Elite toothbrush, I was completely sold! Every time I brush my teeth, they feel so smooth and clean, like I have just been to the dentist! The toothbrush is easy to use because you hold it in a quadrant of your mouth for about 20 seconds at a time. The toothbrush does the rest of the work! It shuts off after 2 minutes, so you know you have thoroughly cleaned your teeth. After using the toothbrush for several months and going to the dentist for my annual check-up, I had noticeable less tartar build-up. What was once an ocassonally painful process of having my teeth scraped was now a non-issue. Though the years, I have continued with the toothbrush and have the same great results. I have even purchased the toothbrush for my parents to use as well. They have only had great things to say about it too. The replacement...
...

toddnugent says "great for cleaning wisdom teeth (for those who still have them)" about Sonicare Elite E9500 Electronic Toothbrush

Our family have been using the sonicare elite E9500 and the E7300 for the past year or so. I still have my wisdom teeth so it is very hard to clean all the way in the back and every time I visit the dentist and hygienist, the back molars have always given me problems. Everywhere else my teeth is rated 1+ or 2+ but alway 3+ or 4+ in severity of gum disease in the molar areas.

We did not grow up with good habits as kids so I have to do catch up cleaning to keep better care of my teeth. The hygienist recommended the Sonicare so I got one. After the first visit 6 months ago, she noted much improvement and at the last visit, no more severe gum disease. I have noted that my gums feel better and less swollen. Using the Sonicare with regular flossing have helped tremendously. During the day, I still use a regular brush since I can't tote the Sonicare with me at work so I only use it at night but it makes a huge difference.
...

I have owned the Sonicare Elite E9500 Electronic Toothbrush for a few years now and have really enjoyed it. It does a great job of cleaning your teething and leaving a very clean feeling. I think it makes it easier for you to make sure you brush every tooth thoroughly and do not miss any spots. It gives you the sensation of just coming home from the dentist. I like the feeling of the handle. It is very easy to hold and use. The travel case is also nice as it provides a great way for you to transport the toothbrooth in a clean and easy manner. I also like the charger. It is easy to use and the look of the toothbrush and the charger is very clean and contemporary. I do not think I could find a better toothbrush out there. I have friends who have tried other types of electronic toothbrushes but I keep hearing that the Sonicare is the best and I believe it. All of my dentists have recommend this toothbrush and I have been happy with it.
...

Acacia says "sonycare Elite is the best brand of toothbrush" about Sonicare Elite E9500 Electronic Toothbrush

I have been using the sonicare brand of electric toothbrushes for some years and its on the my best purchases. I know they now have some newer models and I would like to buy one of those as they seem slimmer than teh older models.

The one improvement I would like to see (and this may have changed since I last investigated but I dont believe it has changed) is a dual charger as I travel alot internationally and its inconvenient needing two chargers and toothbrushes because one cannot buy the charger seperately.

Aside from that small issue, I love the toothbrush and replacement heads are very easy to find in most drugstores. The heads last about three months.

They charge very quickly and the power lasts about two weeks which is excellent if you often forget to replace it in the charger. it looks sytlish and is easy to use.

Writing this review has made me want to go and look at the newer models and hope they will have a smaller charger that is more 'suitacse friendly'.

Definitely recommend...
...

thehats00 says "Very Poor Power Button Seal Design" about Sonicare Elite E9500 Electronic Toothbrush

My fiancee and I used an older version with both units lasting about a year and a half before they quit charging. After spending +/- $125.00 and finding that the only reason that they had to be thrown away was the 2 - $5.00 AA rechargable batteries, I was really disappointed. But, we were both so impressed by the performance, that we upgraded for about $135.00 and were really impressed by the newer version's performance. However, after using them less than a year, the rubber power button seal on my unit split away from the cartridge, allowing water to enter into the electronic portion of the unit. I quit using it to prevent further damage. Two days later, the exact same thing has happened to her cartridge body! If these units cannot be replaced, I will never again invest in this inferior product....

I've had this brush for about a year now and love it! From the beginning, my mouth has just felt cleaner. Even my dentist has noticed the improvement. I love the 2.5 min timer. I used to think I brushed for that long but now I know there was no way!

My brush came with a handy travel case. The charger is small and light-weight, making it easy to bring on trips too. I usually have to recharge every 6-7 days.

My boyfriend bought one after hearing me rave about mine. He loves his too.

The drawback is the price but look at it as an investment! TIP: A friend and I bought a pair at Costco for about $100. If you split that it's a bit cheaper.

Love this brush!
...

This is a great toothbrush for anyone who wants to have their mouth feeling clean and isn't satisfied with the job that their current toothbrush is doing. The Sonicare vibrates to give your teeth and gums a more thurough clean than any other toothbrush I have seen. The Colgate one, for instance, spins back and forth accomplishing no more than someone who brushes correctly with a normal brush. The only complaint I have about this brush is that after about two weeks, the signal function (it beeps to tell you to move on to a different section of your mouth every 10 or so seconds) stopped working. Also, the brushhead must be cleaned about once a week, because toothpaste leaks inside and begins to grow mold....
