Karen Kingsbury writes stories that we all can relate to and gives us the inspiration to achieve happiness and satisfaction no matter the challenge. The Baxter Family series books have been my favorities and I will be sad to see the series ending with her final release this fall. Karen, please bring another family to life for us in the future....

daisyduck0427 says "even through the storms of life God remains faithful." about Someday

What would you do when faced with a pregnancy where the inevitability is that the child will certainly die?

Karen Kingsbury continues to write beautifully inspiring stories of the Baxter family. A family that she writes about in such a way that they feel real. You find yourself praying for them, loving them, relating to them, laughing, and crying as their stories break your heart.

Karen Kingsbury takes a controversial issue and shows that God can truly be present even in the most difficult of circumstances. It's a beautiful picture that there are many ways that the Lord can work in difficult situations, outside of our febal minds. I would recommend this book to anyone. Karen's book always challenges my perspective and my faith. I often feel like I am reading a devotional book because there is so much scripture in her books. If you haven't read the series start at the beginning. Enjoy.
...

misyoung says "Can't wait for the next book to come out!" about Someday

Karen Kingsbury never disappoints. Her books are very well written and a pleasure to read. This book is no exception. I literally could not put the book down and I am chomping at the bit to get the last book in this series. I feel as though I'm part of the Baxter family and I miss them when they're not around! If you're looking for a great book to read, choose ANY Karen Kingsbury, but be sure to start with Redemption if you'd like to fully immerse yourself in a world of triumph, heartache, love, loss and so much more. Each book is like a stepping stone leading you on to the next one...and the next. Someday is the next to last book in the series and I am saddened to think that I will no longer be able to journey back to Bloomington, IN for more Baxter Family adventures....

tcnic says "I could barely put the book down" about Someday

Karen Kingsbury's book Summer is an exceptionally well-written book with three story lines that will keep you turning the pages to find out what is going to happen next. The most pivotal story of the three focus around Ashley Baxter Blake and discovering there is a problem in her pregnancy and how her faith as well as her extended families faith is stretched. I found myself literally crying at the resolution of the story and silently praying that it would end differently. Karen Kingsbury has a remarkable way of writing that captures the reader, draws them in, causes them to reflect on their own beliefs and trust in God and leaves them being touched spiritually....
