Smith's Rosebud Salve is packaged in a convenient tin. The downside of this is you have to dip your finger into the product each time you use it, which isn't the most sanitary but it works!

It is relatively inexpensive and effective!

Product:

It has a similar consistency to vaseline, but a little smoother. After dipping your finger into the tin, you just need a little bit of product for use as a lipbalm or to moisturize dry spots, cuticles, whatever! Careful if it has been in a warm place (like your pocket) because when you dip your finger in, it will be very soft (normally it is somewhat firm and requires some force to get some on your finger).
The amount of product in the tin is pretty generous considering you only need to use a small amount at a time. I had a tin for over a year that I hadn't finished. I would recommend using clean fingers (or periodically using alcohol to wipe the surface) when using the lipbalm.

When I first tried Smith's Rosebud Salve, I was hooked! I've been using the product for several years now and I am still just as in love with it now as I was back then. For around $6, you get a huge tin of lip gloss that lasts for a really long time.

It's super moisturizing and has a light rose scent that isn't overpowering. What's more, it doesn't taste bad if you accidentally lick your lips. The company even has a few other varietes of this amazing lip balm; I recommend the Strawberry flavor. It's AMAZING!

You can buy Smith's Rosebud Salve from most major drugstores, or pick it up online from Sephora.com or Drugstore.com. It leaves your lips amazingly soft and hydrated and even manages to impart a nice shine.

I will say that this lip balm tends to melt quickly in really hot weather, so avoid a worthless, greasy mess by stashing your tin in the fridge on a really hot day. You'll still have the amazing moisturizing properties of a lip balm with a refreshing, cool sensation because of the...

The Rosebud salve is multi purpose. I've used it on my ashy elbows and knees for a quick fix. Leaves my lips feeling soft and kissable.

A friend of mine out east recommended this to me, and I instantly purchased a tin (drugstore.com). It's great for everything from chapped lips, or softening your cuticles. I swear my nails are looking healthier since I've started using it. And the best part about it? It's sweet rose scent and no funny taste....

Though I don't usually spend very much time on my beauty routine, lip balm is essential to me. I have used everything from bonny bell to lancome and I have to say the very best product for soft lips is this lip salve. Unlike many balms, this one really adds moisture that you can feel even after the balm has worn off. Also, the strawberry variety smells great, is tasteless, and doesn't act like a thick goop, making your lips very kissable. Though there is no color in the product I always find that the moisture makes my lips just a little rosy and sweet which I love. With enough in a jar to last at least a year with every day use, this stuff is a steall too! This is a must buy product for any girl.

I've used Rosebud Salve for years. It doesn't end up drying out lips like many so-called lip balms do. I don't like fancy, glittery, scented lip balms - I save the shimmer for lipstick. It's so simple that my husband likes it too. I put it on every night before I go to bed. It's great for regular conditioning and for chapped lips in the wind and cold....
