Smallville caught my eye, not when it first appeared but only a few years agon when i first saw some more members of Justice League. From then i've been watching all episodes and it has deffiently become my favorite tv show. The embodiment of good, a man among men, and a metahuman, Superman fills in the shoes of Tom Welling, who does the most amazing job with his character. The thing that impressed mw the most is the large space of interpretation, since it's new and no one was expecting it, you can do with this show anything and everything. Every character is strongly connected to each other, they all are the people today due to their turbulent lives and helping hands. I've been seeing on forums lately KILL LANA, LANA has to DIE. Why? She plays probably alongisde with Lex the most important part in this show. Clark is the man he is due to them, and his father(not the biological one). If not for Lana's love or Lex's envy and hate who knows how Clark might've ended up. Lana is gone, i doubt...
...

Smallville is one of the best shows on the CW network. It deal with cool story lines and amazing characters. It helps Superman fans relate to Clark Kent. You see how much he has to struggle to keep everything in his life in check.

It makes you see how much we take our lives for granted. Evem if it is a TV series it does teach us a lot in a lot of good ways. It teaches us about family and responsiblty. That no matter your life matters.

Clark not only deals with a lot of complex issues. He has also battled a lot of villians from the DC universe too. My most favorite character was Davis Bloome aka....Doomsday! This character alone stands out among all the rest. He is the only creature to have killed Superman in a 1993 comic. Boy do I remember that day well. I was a senior in high school and my Speech and English teacher wasa a big fan of the Superman comic.

There is a lot of fans that are very drawn to Smallville. You never know who will turn up in Clark's life. This year...
...

asmith161718 says "Smallville is a good representation of DC Comics Superman" about Smallville

I love comic books and I am a big fan of DC Comics in particular. The current and last season of Smallville have the title character Clark Kent trying to balance his work as a reporter in Metropolis; the iconic city in the Superman universe. He also struggles with taking care of the farm by himself without the help of his adoptive parents, Ma and Pa Kent. pa kent died several seasons ago. I have no idea where Ma kent is currently at. Maybe she went away with Lex Luthor's father?

I love the past 2-3 seasons because they have included some of DC Comics most famous super heroes like GCyborg, Green Arrow, Black Canary and the Legion of Superheroes. The villians like Doomsday and Mettallo are also a very big draw. Because Smallville is on network TV and the CW the special effects are few and not as flashy as big budget Movies but in general I am very happy with if. The action scenes between Clark and some of his adversaries are realistic enough to pull off. The one main grip...
...

Smallville is absolutely one of my all time favorite shows! it's got action, romance, drama, comedy... Need I go on! Not too mention the incredibly attractive cast (especially Tom Welling!!). The best part of this show is that the writers always leave you wanting more. Everytime i watch, I can't wait to see the next episode. Sometimes I stay awake all night and watch three or four episodes before I have to make myself go to sleep. All-in-all, Smallville is one of the best shows on television. Period.
...

I am a huge Superman fan so this has been a favorite of mine since it first came on. The story line is great, the action is great, I just love everything about it. There was a point when it was getting on my nerves with the constant back and forth Lana/Clark storyline, but it has gotten better since then. And it doesn't hurt that Erica Durance is a hottie! My wife really enjoys watching this show also. I think she just enjoys watching Tom Welling. Oh well, it is a great show!...

I absolutely love Smallville!!! I started watching the first season from the library and couldn't stop watching them! I just bought Season 5 since the library didn't have it. The great thing about Smallville is that even though it was made for the WB, it stays true to Superman. They have great character development even through to the current Season 6. As far out as some of the story is it is not unbelievable the way they present it to you. They weave in all kinds of info into the background of Superman. The background they go into of Superman is: where his abilities came from, who his parents were, what the planet was like that he was from, & how he was raised to be the true superhero he became. The show is always keeping you on the edge of your seat and the seasons keep getting better and better!!! I love it!...

KRexIII says "Has struggled at times, but overall a good show." about Smallville

Superman is my greatest hero and to watch a show about his adolescent development intrigued me, which is why I have been a loyal watcher for 7 seasons now. The biggest problem for 'Smallville', I believe, is that some of the seasons aren't very imaginative and seem to exist only for the sake of existing to generate a profit. I hear there is going to be an 8th season now, and I only hope the writers are able to maximum the potential of every episode in order to give the greatest hero the world will ever know a proper send-off. Here's hoping!...

sandbeach says "Season 7 has awesome special effects" about Smallville

For those who have never seen Smallville, it's a series about the life of Clark Kent before he became known as Superman. It's a cleverly written show, which tries to follow the comic book facts, but fills in the gaps of Clark's early years...in particular high school and college. The show can be viewed on the CW network and is filmed in Canada. The first episode begins with Clark's arrival on Earth from Krypton. As a toddler he is adopted by the Kent family. With time, they become aware of Clark's special powers and the need for them to be fine-tuned. Clark's own struggle with being Krytonian and wanting to be like everyone else can be comical.

I didn't start watching this series until Season 5. I had to rent the DVDs from Netflix to catch up on the previous seasons. Currently the show is on Season 7, with great special effects and interesting new characters (ie. Clark's cousin from Krypton, Kara). There will probably only be one more season before the series ends. ...
...
