This was a big purchase for us as they are not cheap. But it was a very good investment. We have never slept better. Neither my husband nor I realized how different we are in our comfort levels regarding mattresses until we tested this mattress out. I like mine much softer then he likes his. But we have been sleeping a whole lot better and this really changes your outlook on everything once you get a goods night sleep

If you want a great nights sleep every night, you can not go wrong with the Sleep Number bed. We bought one about 9 years ago and just could not believe the difference it made in a good nights rest. My husband keeps his side on one number and I like mine a bit firmer which is no problem with this bed. You get a remote to set the firmness that is most comfortable for you. I would say that we made a most excellent choice in choosing the Sleep Number Bed.

My husband and I bought a sleep number bed set about 8 years ago. I absolutely love this bed and have recommended it to many people including my daughter who recently bought a new sleep number bed for her and her husband. I definately sleep better on this bed. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis which makes it difficult to sleep anyway due to the constant pain. My husband has never slept better and I assure you both of out 60 plus pound dogs love to get a nap on it whenever they can. As a matter of fact when you try to get them off of the bed they give you an indignantly look like who do you think you are wanting me to get off the bed, By the way they prefer 35 setting and that is no joke. I guess that is why I can relate so well to the commercial with the man and his dog & the dogs preference 35 sleep number. These mattresses are high but you won't be buying a new mattress every five years so in the long run they are worth the money. If you can't afford the bottom part at least buy the top...

We used to have a floatqtion water bed, but it was too difficult for us to adjust the amount of water on each side so that we each had the degree of firmness we preferred. Then, we got the Select Comfort bed and our problems were solved! We have a platform, so we didn't even buy the base, just the mattress and it works just fine. We've had ours over 10 years and are still just as happy with it. We got a set for our guest room and as a result, have converted quite a few friends who visited.

The sleep number is a fantastic mattress. We bought the most expensive regular mattress before and it didn't last as they said. My mother in law had one of these and after we slept in it a couple times we just had to have it.

My husband loves a softer mattress. I don't so we can adjust however we please. Also, when I was pregnant (we bought it right when so it would be helpful) it was just great. I kept adjusting it as I got bigger and I never had to use one of those long pregnancy pillows they recommend to sleep better. I could even sleep on my belly almost until the last months!

Buy it. you will be happy!!

I used to see the sleep number bed commercials all of the time. When my mattress started to make my back hurt, I thought I would shop around. I also knew a couple of people that bought a sleep number bed and I asked them about it. I decided to go to the mattress store and laid on several mattresses for a while. When I got to the sleep number bed, the salesman adjusted the bed until it was at my comfort level. I couldn't believe how good I felt laying down in that bed. I stayed there for 20 minutes and didn't want to leave. I waited about a week, came back to the store....laid down and had the same number as before. I bought it and it was delivered a few days later.

I used to have restless nights and a sore back on my old mattress. Now that I have the sleep number bed, I haven't had many sleepless nights. I am also impressed with the fact that my husband and I sleep numbers are completely different. I like less firm and he likes more firm beds. That's probably why we never agreed on mattresses. My...

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis about 5 years ago. At the time we had a water-bed mattress. I was constantly in pain over and above what I normally felt like from the disease alone. My husband and I knew we needed to purchase a new mattress so we began shopping around looking at all the new therapeutic mattresses that were out at the time. My doctor and several people I had talked to suggested that we check into the Sleep Number. Of course my first thought was we wouldn't be able to afford it because I was convinced that it was going to be out of the ball park in cost. We happened to receive a Sleep Number store in our town so we decided to check it out. It was really cool because the salesperson has you lay down on each mattress starting with the lowest in cost but first they determine your actual sleep number. I am disabled with an EXTREMELY bad back. There were days I couldn't even get out of bed then I bought a Sleep Number bed. What a surprise!!!! I had been told they were comfortable and I had seen plenty of ads for it and heard the testimonials but WHO KNEW!!!! I have learned in the past NOT to believe those people on those infomercials but this time they called it right. My back feels so much better and with the dual controls I can adjust mine the way I like it and I don't have to keep my husband from being comfortable. I have tried other beds but this one is truly worth the money!!! GOOD JOB SLEEP NUMBER!!!

I have to adjust it several times a day cause it don't keep my number right. It never has and probably never will. It has the gap in the middle or the two mattresses too like everyone else raves about. I wake up every morning in it. So much for a good nites sleep. I set it at 35 and later when it feels hard I look and it's at 50-80. Readjust and later it's back there. We should start a false advertising suit against this company as their product is not what it says it is. I am gonna check into a lawyer so contact me if ya want to get in on it. mo2tx at yahoo com . I live in Texas and am starting to hate this bed. I will also be checking for the mold shortly that several others said something about. I can't handle mold at all. We paid top dollar for this bed system and we deserve to have that better nites sleep they rave about....

The Sleep Number Select Comfort King size mattress is PERFECT for us! My husband is over 6' tall and is King size himself, where I am 4'11" and a Plus size making the King size mattress with duel controls a must. We each have the ability to adjust our individual controls to our own comfort numbers. Our mattress was selected with the pillow top cover and fits beautifully in our King size Sleigh bed.

We have had our Sleep Number Select Comfort King size mattress over 6 years. At that time we made the decision for us and our marriage that we were worth it to have a good mattress. We have never regretted our choice of the Sleep Number Select Comfort King size mattress.

My husband's sleep number is 45 unless he is having a bad night then he will turn it up to 60. My sleep number, when I want to feel cuddly is 35, but when I need to get some serious rest my sleep number is 80.

Although VERY pricey...with pillow and mattress cover,
this Select Comfort King sized mattress
cost over $4,000...my husband has had back surgery
and this mattress has been so good for him.

I was expecting more from it - - I still feel I do not get a
good night's sleep (sorry Bionic Woman!)
but that may be because I am a mother of 2
young children and even the best the mattress
can't change that!!

I love the way you can select your own levels of comfort on each side.

The King sized pillow is expensive and sooo heavy but pretty awesome!

The men that came, delivered and installed it were great...sub-contracted
