I love this mattress. It gives both me and my husband the freedom to choose our own firmness without going to twin beds.

It allows us to still be close when we are sleeping.

My only reget is that we do not have enough room in our bedroom for more than a queen size.

Great bed. Great Results. I've tried this bed and in my experience it was great feeling. Great back support if you got back problems like me. Perfect for people who enjoy sleeping like waking up to a great day knowing you dont have to worry bout getting comfortable the material in the sleep number bed works good for alot of people. I'm very interested in the warranty and price they pay for it. You can buy it for decent price on ebay if you find reliable seller.

Well, it is a long story how my husband and I came to buy a sleep number bed. I was pregnant with our third child and we had been married for over ten years at this time and had realized that our mattress was in bad repair..so we went searching...a bit of advice...DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT search for a mattress when you are pregnant...what feels good then may not feel so good when the baby comes...so we went tried out several models of the sleep number bed. It came highly recommended from many of our family and friends. We fell in love with the 5000 in the store....we bought it and it came..we had to set it up which was NO fun...that started my grudge against the bed i think...and then after that it was nothing but number crunching...every-night a different number...I was so miserable and uncomfy i spent many nights on our couch..my husband and over the road truck driver, felt horrible....our baby was born in august and by December of that year we had purchased a new mattress. ...

i have this bed in my guest room and quess were i've been sleeping since!! ahhh my new bedroom love it. really you don't realize how bad your matress sucks until you sleep on a fine bed like this. i'll buy another after the first of the year hands down the best

I was so tired of shopping for mattresses. My husband and I decided that we got tired of rolling into each other each night and not getting a good nights sleep. I had heard about the sleep number bed and thought they were too expensive, but after going to the store and comparing the price of a new mattress to theirs it wasn't so bad. We love our Sleep Number Bed. My husband likes a very firm mattress and I like a softer mattress. I truly believe it saved our marriage. It was easy to put together and we have not had any problems with our sleep number at all. Well worth the money!

I didn't think too much about beds until I was ready to move up from my parents 20 year old hand-me-down bed. I was going to purchase my very own bed. I went to your typical furniture store and slapped down $500 for a bed that I thought would last me for a while. After all, my parents bed made it through 20 years! Well this bed sadly lasted me three years before it started getting the big dip in the middle!!! A HUGE disappointment. That is when my husband suggested the Sleep Number bed. Of course I had seen all of the commercials for this bed, but I don't typically by things just because of a commercial. He talked me into going to the store and he was sold on it right away. I was very leary because this bed was over $1000. I thought that was way too much to spend on a bed. We brought it home and are both pretty happy with it. I must say it is very nice to be able to adjust your numbers and each sleep on the type of firmess you like. It has been nearly 3 years and the bed is still working...

When my husband and I returned home from our honeymoon, we met our first problem. With the matress that my husband had slept on for several years was way too hard for me. He needed a firm matress and I needed a pillow soft, sink in, kind of matress.

Soft matresses made his back hurt and firm matress made every pressure point on my body explode with pain. We tried putting air matresses on top of our matress, then we couldn't agree on how much air to put in it.

Every night was a discussion and it seemed like we would be forced to sleep in different beds forever.

I had seen the Sleep Number beds advertised on TV, the internet, and even saw the store in the mall.

I had also seen advertisments for several other types of "miracle" beds. Memory foam beds were claimed to put an end to all pressure points with their "Space age" technology.

The Temporpedic matress claimed to mold itself to your body but not disturb your partner even if you jumped on the bed. (This was demonstrated...
