I absolutely love this bed! The platform that goes under it we thought was ridiculously expensive, so we just made one out of wood for about $50. Definitely made the top mattress worth it! We have had it for 7 and a half years now and I have been so glad to be able to adjust the hardness of my bed. My last two pregnancies, I had a period when I woke up very achy. It occurred to me after about a week to try adjusting my bed. A firmer mattress solved the problem! How cool is that? I would have ached my way through months and month of my life if I hadn't had this bed.

My husband and I are also complete opposites here - his side is super soft and mine is nice and hard. We never feel each other get out of bed, so I can sleep a little later in the morning and when I'm pregnant, he's unaware that I go to the bathroom three times at night. =)

We got a hole in one of the mattresses during a move and it was really quick and easy to patch.

The Sleep Number Bed Set is extremely comfortable. It puts me to sleep every night in seconds and keeps me asleep all night. I have never woken up with a back ache or any other problems. It is very very supportive and it is great for the lower back. I love how it is firm but since it is a pillowtop it is soft and comfortable at the same time. It litterally made me sleep like a big baby. I love it. It made me feel incredible the next day and it has never let me down. My whole family loves it. The only bad thing would be that my dog also loves it. e has made it a habit to sleep with us and I am trying to get him to stop. I guess it is just THAT comforrtable. This mattress is one that you will not regret buying. I have had it for about two years and it still feels like new. It is a great matresss and i would not trade it for the world. I love it and I definately approve of it. Try it and you will know what I am talking about.

I'm sorry we waited so long to buy our Sleep Number bed! We can finally sleep on the same mattress comfortably. Within a week I could tell a major improvement in my morning back pain. I am able to make my side as firm as I need it while my husband can have as little support as he wants.

We bought the sleep number bed and have never been more disappointed in our lives. So two people can sleep on it and not disturb the other. Well that's great, but they don't tell you about the foam strip that goes down the middle dividing the 2 air mattress. I think we are like most people, when we make love we get in the middle of the bed part of the time. Well I have a bad back and hate getting high centered over that foam strip. Our love life went from very good to almost non existing. They also fail to tell you in the commercials that you have to buy the number displays separate. So you are always filling it up or letting air out. It is a guessing game as to whether you have the right amount of air in there to be comfortable. I would rather sleep on a thin blanket on the rocky ground than to lay on the sleep number. $1,300. dollars wasted and for what? The people who back it on TV have to be making a bundle. Maybe as a life raft on the Titanic but other wise save you money and get a...

The Sleep Number bed is the best thing that I have ever slept on. I use to have back pain and stiffness in the mornings. But with this wonderful bed, I do not wake up stiff and sore. The bed is a little pricey, but the comfort is well worth it. The bed will last a lot longer than the standard mattress. I like the fact that you can adjust the firmness of the bed. Most of the time it is set at the same number. My number is a "85." But sometimes I like it to be firmer or softer, so with the simple touch of a button on the remote, I can adjust the bed up or down. I used to wake up many times in the night. Not now..when I fall alseep on my Sleep Number Bed, I do not wake up until morning. Before this bed, I would toss and turn all night, sleep was not restfull. But with this bed, I do not think I toss very much at all. I fall asleep in one position and that is where I wake up at. I miss the bed when I have to sleep in another type of bed.

I watched them put this bed together on QVC years ago and laughed at the silly concept. I have serious back problems and am in constant pain, trying to get some sleep is very important for me. My husband decided I deserved nothing but the best and wanted to help me get good rest so we bought a Tempurpedic King size mattress and box spring. Oh my was it expensive!! I grew to absolutely hate that bed. It was so hard for me to get at least a little comfortable, extremely hard for me to get into and out of. Hubby decided to try the Select Comfort/Sleep number mattress. I was very leary. It seemed like it would be just like sleeping on an air mattress. Well, my tune has changed, I have been recommending it to all my family and friends. I finally can get some sleep at night. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It was so much cheaper than the Tempurpedic, I feel bad for all the money hubby has spent trying to get me some comfortable sleep. I am glad we finally found what I think is absolutely...

We had the sleep by number bed for about 5 yrs. My side began losing air- contacted company was told since I didn't have their base it voided my warranty. We purchased a new Serta Sleeper. When we removed sleep by number my side of sleeper was full of mold/mildew inside the air chambers. Contacted company after the mattress had been removed to let them know about the problems. They in turn changed their story and tell me 'oh-is would have been covered you should have contacted us.' I was furious! I did contact them to no avail. But I love my Serta!

SELCET COMFORT COMPANY ARE LIARS------THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS, WE WENT TO RETURN OUR BED AND THEY TOLD US THAT WE COULD ONLY RETURN THE MATTRESS AND THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO KEEP THE FOUNDATION AND PAY $2200.00 FOR IT. THEY SAID WE SIGNED A FORM SAY THAT WE UNDERSTOOD THE POLICY BUT THEY MISLED US. THE SALESWOMAN TOLD US THAT WE COULD RETURN EVERYTHING AND JUST PAY THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING. NOTHING WAS MENTIONED ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO RETURN THE FOUNDATION, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD A WANT THE ADJUSTABLE FOUNDATION WITHOUT THE BED. IT IS LIKE RETURNING ONE SHOE TO THE STORE AND THEM NOT EXCEPTING THE OTHER ONE.

I cannot say how wonderful this bed is! The Sleep Number bed drastically changed my sleep. With my previous mattress I was not sleeping well at all. My old mattress was a new (about 18mo) mattress that was expensive. It started to sag and get a hump in the middle almost immediately. After zero customer service, my husband I had had enough. We went to the Sleep Number store and bought one that day. Within 3 days my shoulder and hip pain were gone. I felt like a new person!

I toss and turn a lot at night and my husband is no longer disturbed when I do. However, I don't toss and turn as much as I used to. The Sleep Number bed is not hot either. I ruled out several other brands because of the materials that they were made off. I wanted a bed that wouldn't make me sweat.

We have had our bed for three years now. Often, my husband and I have both said that it was the best purchase that we had ever made. I couldn't be happier with my Sleep Number Bed!

The purchase of the Sleep Number bed has been the biggest purchase mistake we have ever made. We purchased this bed after hearing all great ads and decided that it was time we get a very comfortable nights rest. It has been the worst bed I have ever owned. I kept it longer than the 30 day trial to give it a chance and it has never lived up to what it claimed to be. I really hate the middle foam piece in the king we got and the side foam pieces are a joke.

We decided to purchase a memory foam topper for this piece of junk and I tell you we have slept better on the memory foam than we have in the three since we bought the bed.

The bed is relatively confortable, the people at the store are not reliable or truthful. We were promised that my daughter who had refered us to buy one of their beds was going to receive a gift of $50 well after almost five years she never received one.

My husband and I bought a sleep number bed a couple of years ago to deal with back pain and now we dread being without out it. Even a few nights spent at a hotel or the homes of friends and family leave us with aches and pains that we thought we had forgotten. We have a king size, and it is absolute heaven. He keeps his side at 95 to provide the right support for his 300 pounds, and I keep mine at a 40. I was even able to adjust it to find the right level of comfort during my pregnancy. We will never go back to anything else....

I purchased a King Size Sleep Number set a year ago and have been extremely happy with it. I like that you can adjust each side and change the setting if your needs change. I have not found anything to complain about this product. I would highly recommend it!...

My husband and I mulled over the idea of buying a Sleep Number mattress and foundation. It seemed like a lot of money to spend - but my husband has a lot of problems with his lower back. He had injured his back many years ago - so was always having problems with it and being in a lot of pain. I would occasionally have problems with my lower back after doing a lot of housecleaning and moving furniture around. We decided to buy the Sleep Number mattress around Christmas time last year. We absolutely love it and would never be without one! We bought one for our guest bedroom, also. My husband very seldom has any back problems at all now - AND - he can set his side of the bed to be very firm (100) and I can set my softer at 70, which I really do enjoy. Best thing we ever bought!!!!
