Quick View: I am not a huge fan of ice cream (or maybe I programmed myself not to be from all these years of avoiding high fat products) but now and then, I like a frozen treat. My husband picked me up a six pack of Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches and I loved them. They're sweet, filling, great tasting, and low in calories and fat!

My Take on Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches

These sandwiches have low fat ice cream nestled between two chocolate cookie wafers. They're thick and round with scalloped edges. They come in an plastic egg carton type thing to keep each sandwich from being squished.

These filling treats in vanilla, the flavor I had, have just 140 calories and 3 grams of fat. They also have a respectable 3 grams of fiber and a nice amount of protein and calcium. And they taste so rich! One will fill me up and satisfy my craving for a sweet treat easily. I really don't taste much difference between Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches and full fat ones although, I admit I haven't eaten...

Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwhiches taste awesome you'll forget there Low Carb taste just like an regular ice cream sandwhich. Very tastee treat my kids love them also. I try and but them in the summertime for a cold refreshing treat.They rock at my house.

I love these The Skinny Cow products! They are so good and they really do taste like they are very bad for you, but they are not (thank god!) My favorite flavor The Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwhiches would most likely be the mint one. It is so yummy!!! The only problem I have with this product, and the rest of The Skinny Cow products, is that it is very expensive!! Thats why I try to buy them once in a while, but I can't help it! It's worth the 5-6 bucks!

Been wanting to try these Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. Noticed the low calories and since I had a coupon for them I bought a package and I. I bought the mix of chocolate and vanilla I love,love,love the chocolate ones and not so much the vanilla. Really satisified my craving for chocolate ice cream. I love ice cream in the warmer months. Some sandwiches can be high in calories but this one did the trick for me. I will buy the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches again but next time I will only buy the chocolate. Yum. They can be a little pricey so I'll watch for them on sale and use my last coupon. I also noticed when Kroger doesn't have them on sale they are cheaper at Walmart.

My husband picked these up one day at the store and I found them in the freezer and tried one without reading the package. I had no idea that they were low cal and I loved them. The ice cream is very creamy and its just the right size to satisfy.

I loved it before I knew it was low cal and after i knew it became a regular purchase for us.

Finally, a low calorie treat that really tastes like a treat! Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches are really delicious. They taste nothing like the usual low calorie ice creams and leave no nasty aftertaste.

For only about 3 points on the weight watchers or around 150 calories, these ice cream treats really satisfy a sweet tooth. I keep them on hand for weak moments when i really must have a dessert.

Skinny Cow didn't attract me until I had a coupon one day. When I tried the ice cream sandwiches, I was pleasant surprised at the taste and the texture. Good stuff!

I first bought these Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches for two reasons - they were on sale, and (at the time) I was on a low-carb diet and craving ice cream... and these were the only "diet" things in the freezer case... (yes, it was a long time ago)

With some skepticism, I tried one.

First thought: "Hey, this is the same size as a regular ice cream sandwich."
Second thought: "And it leaves those little chocolate thumbprint marks on my hands just like a regular ice cream sandwich."
Third thought: "Did I grab the right one? Is this thing really diet?"
Fourth thought: "At 120 calories each, can I eat a second one?"

Seriously, they're that good. Take one, put the package back in the freezer, and leave the room before eating - otherwise you will be tempted to go back for more.

A couple of days ago, I reviewed Jello Sugar Free Dulce De Leche Pudding Cups. As it so happened, I had treated myself to a whole flock of reduced sugar desserts with my last Peapod order. The pudding cups have been temporarily shoved toward the back of the fridge and now I'm experimenting with Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches. I tried the mint flavor and thought the one I ate tonight was delicious. Of course, it will never take the place of the notorious Big Wheel Ice Cream Sandwiches the 7/11 used to sell years ago but those sported about 500 calories each. These Skinny Cow things contain more than 28 ingredients (including preservatives and dyes) but they are still better for you.

STATS:

Each sandwich is a single serving consisting of two chocolate wafers filled with about a half a cup of ice cream and containing 130 calories with 20 calories from fat. There are two grams total fat, one gram saturated fat, zero cholesterol, 145 mg. sodium, 23 grams total carbs, two grams...

As I began watching what I ate, there were times when I really just wanted some ice cream. I decided to try these out, and was pretty impressed. They certainly don't have the same exact taste of good, old-fashioned ice cream sandwiches, but they are close.

I only wish that the ice cream itself didn't have the strange sweetner flavor, and that the cookies were gooey and sticky like the original ice cream sandwich!

Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches isn't what I expected. They taste fake sweet and does not satisfy your sweet tooth for dieters or I should say health conscious induldgers. I was suprised to taste how this product taste like rubber....

I bought these a few times because they were on sale. I bought the chocolate and vanilla ones, and they are great. However, one is not usually enough. The nutrition facts are great, so i would highly recommend this delicious treat if you are looking to treat yourself within limits....

My sister introduced me to the Skinny cow ice cream sandwiches a few months ago. My family absolutely loves them, and I love the fact that they are low fat and have three grams of fiber each. We all need fiber in our diets and getting it from delicious ice cream is a definite bonus....
