Simply Orange

In my humble opinion I think this is one of the better "commercial" orange juice brands on the market. If you haven't noticed, all OJs have gone way up in price, even the yucky store brands that end up down the drain because nobody in my house likes them. I think this shines over Tropicana any day.

If you end up throwing food items away because they are disliked then why not buy what they like, that's my motto. So, that said, I bought the no pulp Simply Orange and my family loves it, in fact the container barely lasts a few days in my house.

This juice has a fresh orange taste, crisp and satisfying, it's not too bitter, tart or acidic and weather you like pulp in it or not, it's still has a nice smoothness to it. I've used this in cooking as well, it makes a great marinade (along with fresh ginger, garlic and soy sauce) for pork chops, it gives them a very zesty & tasty orangy glaze and the natural acidity of the OJ tenderizes the meat perfectly.

Simply Orange tastes like a watered-down version of tropicana, and if it's processed in a similar way than the processing method removes all nutrients and flavours, and the juice is then stored in containers for a year or more where at which point engineers reconstitute the flavor using chemicals in order to make the product 'taste fresh'.

Think about it. And by the way all the above reviews sound as though they've been written by Minute Maid, Annabanana says 'To them it is something to be treated with respect, gently pasteurized and never made from concentrate. If you were..."

Give me a break........ Read this, and rethink the way you drink orangejuice, and stop buying into this BS. If you want the real deal this is not it

Simply Orange is the most amazing orange juice that I've ever drank since having fresh squeezed. It brings back memories of when I worked in New York City's Upper East Side and got to eat breakfast at a coffee shop once a week that served fresh squeezed Orange Juice that was squeezed to order. There are times that instead of drinking out of a glass that I want to use a spoon to get all the pulp. After drinking Simply Orange, it's hard to drink any of the no or low pulp juices, they just don't make it. I just wish that it was more reasonable in price so instead I wait for sales and/or coupons and stock up on it then.

My day can not start without a glass of juice. My personal preference is orange, but just about any juice, that taste good will do. This week, with my coupon in hand I tried Simply Orange, Original Orange Juice,which is a 100% pure squeezed orange juice available in 4 different varieties. It is produced in Apopka, Florida and is orange juice that has never been concentrated or sweetened. It is a product of the Minute Maid Division of The Coca Cola Company.

Simply Orange Orange Juicecomes in a plastic container and contains approximately 59 ounces equaling almost seven, 8 ounce servings. The bottle is clear, and looks very much like the Tropicana Premium Orange Juice. The price is approximately $3.19 per bottle.

Simply Orange Orange juice has to be the best market bought orange juice out there. It tastes like you squeezed the oranges yourself. It is 100% juice, no added sweeteners, not made from concentrate and is packed full of good stuff. Simply Orange claims that their juice is gently pasteurized and that they are certified by the American Heart Association. The juice comes available in different amounts of pulp, and you can get it with added calcium. In addition to Orange juice, they also offer limeade, lemonade, grapefruit juice, and apple juice. They are a little pricier than most brands, but WELL worth it!

I, myself, am a big juice drinker. I have been working to cut out the pop, and even though I drink a lot of water, I don't always want to drink water, so, orange juice is my favorite alternative. I am very picky when it comes to orange juice, and have stuck to Minute Maid for years. Luckily, my grocery store was out of the size of Minute Maid I buy, so I decided to give Simply Orange......

My father used to tell me that when he was a little boy (90 years ago!) the only time most people saw an orange at all was at Christmas -- hence, the special treat of finding an orange in the toe of one's stocking. I myself can remember the 40's and 50's when the wonderful smell of oranges being squeezed by hand would almost fill a kitchen and the rest of the house. Well, orange juice is still special to the folks at the Simply Orange Juice Company in Apopka, Florida. If you were able to pick your own oranges off the tree and squeeze them yourself, this is what you might get.
