We got this crib for our first baby almost 4 years ago for our first baby, I liked it that it converts into a toddler bed and has the storage drawer, that helps a lot. 2 years ago when we were havig a birthday party at home, one of the kids who attended the party broke the crib's mattress support ( it was a toddler bed then ) so we had to put the crib away. Then, months later I got pregnant with my second child and I decided to try to fix the crib, since everything else was still in good condition, so I called the manufacturer and told them what had happened with the crib, and they told me that they will send me a new crib, and I just ahd to pay for the shipping, that was way cheaper than buying a new crib, so they sent me the new crib in less than a week after I called, and then I sent them back the head and foot board of the old crib.

My husband put the crib together, and we are now using it for our baby. It is really a very good product, since it converts into a toddler bed and later...

Due to the recall on the Aspen 4 in 1 crib, we had to replace the cribs once. But before that the wood mattress supports snapped in half on both of my kids cribs. The cribs that Simplicity sent to us to replace the cribs that broke & were included in the recall are extremely unstable feeling & the screws are constantly falling out, hence causing a possible choking hazard. I do not recommend this brand at all!...

I got this Simplicity 4-in-1 crib as a baby shower gift, and I love it. My dad and friend's fiancee had it put together in an hour. I love the roll under drawer for handy sheet keeping. I have had no problems with the drop-side. I also love how it will convert to a toddler bed when my daughter's ready for it....

If you are looking for a standard crib for your baby this one could be for you. Siplicity's Aspen Crib is a four in one, which means it changes from a crib to a toddler bed, toddler bed to a day bed, daybed to a full size bed. Economically it is a steal for what the product promises to do. I actually bought this crib myself about 6 months ago for my baby. As a mother of 4 boys now, I have had my share of cribs. I found that the Aspen crib was fairly easy to assemble and came with a maltitude of options, like the mobile. It also comes with all the hardware for the interchangable beds. However, it had a few thing I completely disliked about my Aspen crib.

I have found that my Aspen crib when bumped, tends to lose grip and slider comes down. Which is fine for now because my son is only 4 months old, but it obviously worries me in the future. I have also had problems with the trundle. If you plan on using it for clothing i would rethink your choice of crib. I tried using......

I bought this crib when my now 4 year old was a baby - ended up being recalled. Tried to return it to get my money back and they refused... told me they weren't accepting refunds but would send out a "repair kit" well, that takes time! If anyone who works for the company is a PARENT themselves they would know a child isn't going to sleep in a crib after a few weeks with mom & dad!
I was furious with Simplicity, I had a travel swing that was recalled for an injury (another company) and they accepted the return but they wouldn't accept a refund for children DYING. I went ahead and ordered the repair kit and didn't put my son in the crib anymore. The repair kit never came in the mail.
Fast forward 2 years... my 2nd son was born. My mom convinced me since the old one was recalled they were probably much pickier and things should be better now. I shouldn't have listened to mom's advice but I did. I bought the crib only to find out a few months later that THAT crib was recalled too. Of course,......

Simplicity made some cribs for Graco also, so this crib can be found under the Simplicy name only, or also called "Graco by Simplicity", but they are the exact same design. This crib was horrible. The metal brackets that were supposed to hold up the slide down rail constantly broke, and the side would fall down on it's own. I had order more repair parts over and over, but they constantly broke, sometimes instantly. My son fell out of the crib when the side fell down on its own, at nine months. This was in 2004. I notified Simplicy, and they were aware that it was a mass problem, but did nothing to notify the FTC to begin a recall. I notified the FTC, who then began the recall process--but Simplicy only notified them of the cribs they made for themselves alone, and not the ones they made for Graco with the same design flaw. So, beware! They are hard to deal with, can't be trusted, and it may put your child's safety in jeopardy...and this crib is still in circulation. My son ended up...

I love the crib! The trundle drawer is a nice feature and comes in handy, but the bottom of it used to slide out of the grooves. Not a big deal, as long as you are only storing blankets, crib sheets, or clothes, etc. in it. All in all, it's a very nice crib for a very reasonable price....

I bought this bed for my daughter. Its been a life saver. I bought another one for my son too! These beds are easy to set up and perfect for all infants, toddlers and CHILDREN!. I do wish the bed railing had a different raise/lower method when in "crib mode" but other than that this bed is perfect! Highly recommended for everyone, especially those who want all the nice things without the high cost! This bed was bought when my daughter was 1 mo old and she still uses it and she will be FOUR in one month!

I found it easy to assemble, easy to change as my child grew, and a classic addition to my house. My child has enjoyed going from crib stage to next level. The cost was well within my budget and has also saved me additional expenses by changing as my child grows and develops.

The crib was very builder friendly and cost effective. It has been useable from 0years until now, almost 3. We are almost ready to change it to the toddler bed. Our son has yet to escape from it whichhas inssured that he would stay in the crib and not bother my wife and I through the night. I love this crib. It is a beautiful natural wood color so it goes with any decor and is very durable. The best part is it grows with the childos no buying a toddler bed then a ful bed all u need to do is get a mattress in the future ( great for the budget conscious). The only bad thing is the storage drawer is very small....

This crib is great to help for the new mom, it helps organize you. The storage underneath is great. It's also very adaptable underneath is great, but you do have to kneel to get to it, but a bonus is your dog can't crawl under it. It was easy to assemble and looks great....

This is a well made bed. We enjoyed it being able to change into a toddler bed made it last longer for each child. We are looking forward to using it as a "grown up" bed soon. The only problem we have encountered is our daughter's jumping on the bed as a toddler bed made the screws come undone. We haven't been able to correct the problem with the screws but it will not effect the use of the bed as a grown up bed in the future.
