When I reviewed the Simone Chickenbone's website I knew I would make a purchase. I suffer from chapped lips mostly because we have a small farm I'm always outside working in the sun or cold weather. I go through tubes of chapped lip product like crazy and have a generous supply of them handy at all times.

My order of Simone Chickenbone Chicken Poop Lip Junk arrived last week and I wanted to try the product for two weeks before reviewing it. Sorry . . . I couldn't wait that long to tell you how much I love Simone Chickenbone Chicken Poop Lip Junk!

I live near Buffalo, New York so you know that we get windy and snowy weather. I saw this product advertised in a major magazine and I love things that are kitchy and trendy, but this is just offensive. I read the story behind it and I think it is stupid. A friend of mine who lives in Iowa sent me some as a joke. I would prefer any other brand over this one. I think this line is going to die....

i totaly had to repond to this review. i was at walgreens and in line to check out this guy in front of me spotted the chicken poop lip balm. he started laughing histerically. i said what is so funny. he gave me the lip balm and said here check it out. i laughed with him. oi openedit up and smelled it. it was gross!. i went ahead and bought for a joke to put in my sons stocking. hell get a laugh out of this. i tried it on my lips and it is moisturizing but the taste is horrible along with the smell. its very waxy tasting. i only bought it for a joke. i wouldnt recomend anyone trusting this for lip care. i just thought this was funny....

The Verdict: I'm having a hard time deciding whether to recommend this one or not. I clicked the Yes button as this product is so darn amusing that I can't NOT recommend it, but it's not really all that either. So you'll just have to keep reading and decide for yourselves :)

Just the Facts: A few months ago I was searching Walgreens.com for something like lightbulbs or tampons or something completely not related to lip balm. Well the item that I was searching for did not display as a result of my search, however one product did display and while I have no clue why, it sure caught my eye and sucked me right in.

That product was Chicken Poop Lip Junk. Gross, I know, but you gotta admit it's hilarious. I immediately sent the link to all of my friends who know I'm a lip balm junkie and they thought it was hilarious too.

So the next time I was at Walgreens I noticed the Chicken Poop display at the register and had to have one. Each tube is only 0.15 ounce, or the size of a normal...
