The simmons beauty rest mattress we have has been in our household for more than five years. My wife and I both sleep on the same sides even if we change the room around. The mattress never shows wear and tear. The mattress has lasted through two chihuahua puppies and their training. The coating on this mattress has even last this long. We clean the pillow top with pinesol and it does not have any stains on it. You also dont flip this mattress. I am a heavy person and so is my wife. Our old mattress showed worn spots or troughs where we laid, this mattress does not show any wear spots like that. I have to lay on my back all night long due to sleep apnea and a cpap that I wear. Because of this mattress I can get a restful nights sleep and get up and go to work the next morning without pain in my back.

We just bought this matress and it is great. Our old one was giving both of us back problems. Those problems have been eliminated after we bought this matress.

This bed ia a real great investment. There use to be days and nights when the energy just wasn"t there. We tried vitamin c,e,d. Then we tried sports drinks and enegy drinks for extra stamina. We tried more exercise. We tried yoga, walking, weights and even soccer. It seemed the more we did the less we enjoyed it after the first 1 or 2 weeks. Then Peggy suggested a different sleep system. We looked for price first. That was a real mistake. If you sleep 6 hour a night that is 1/4th of your like in bed. After looking for a few weeks we checked out the Simmons Beautyrest. Once you relas inthe showroom you can tell that this is different. We had it delivered and the rest is history. If we had done this sooner it would have saved us a lot of tme. Now we can sleep more soundly, and even reenergize with a short nap. If you start remembering you dreams you can thank Beautyrest. I started dreaming more after about a month on the beautyrest. Lets go to bed is a truely good sounding suggestion......

We purchased our Simmons BeautyRest Pillowtop mattress approximately 2 years ago. When we first started using it we were very happy with the comfort but as time went by we noticed that a body indentation was forming on both sides of the mattress. We are not large people and this is a king sized mattress with plenty of room to move around but we tend to sleep in one spot. We turned the mattress to see if we could redistribute the body pressure and that did help somewhat but there is still a small impression. I anticipate that as time goes by the impression will again get larger. It definitely does not have the fluffiness and comfort that it originally had but is still comfortable. I am a little disappointed in the way it has held up as it was not inexpensive. We also have a pillowtop mattress cover on it. We have had guests sleep over on occasion and they all comment on how soft and comfortable the mattress is so maybe we are just spoiled. No matter what it is still better...

The Simmons BeautyRest Pillowtop Mattress is a wonderfully comfortable mattress to sleep on. I have slept so much better since I got it. I have to be careful not to lay on it in the daytime or I will take a nap every time lol. It is well worth the money that we paid for it. I would recomend it to anyone.

My Simmons Beautyrest worldclass pillowtop is so comfortable. My back doesn't hurt so bad in the morning anymore. It was expensive, but I'm pretty happy with it. Even though the boxspring is noisy. It's also hard to move because, it is quite heavy and has no hanlde like things on the sides of it like some mattresses do.

My husband and I just recently got one and was amazed at the difference! We had a hard uncomfortable bed before and both would wake up with horrible back pain every morning. Now we sleep through the night and wake up with no pain at all!

I purchased this mattress about 20 months ago. It was very comfortable at first but within 5 months started to get saggy. The pillow top feels like a worn out pillow and the its quite uncomfortable. The company doesnt have much to say about it and they sure dont stand behind the products they sell. So here I am stuck with this until I can afford a replacement.

I wouldnt reccomend the simmons beautyrest pillowtop mattress to my worst enemy.

This Sealy Beautyrest Pillowtop Mattres is such a wonderful, firm mattress. Gosh, it was very expensive, but it was WAY worth it. We were actually going to get the Sealy posteurpedic mattress, but the firmness of this mattress was perfect for me and my husband. You can't feel each other move at night and that's great, because I toss and turn at night really bad. Just wonderful!!!...

I purchased this mattress 13 months ago at Sleepy's. It has what they call "eggs", which are basically holes that you fall into as if you were sleeping on a pullout couch or a terrible hotel room mattress. It has caused back pain for both my fiance and myself and was inspected and deemed DEFECTIVE. While Simmons is replacing the mattress, they are charging me $90 to deliver it and pick up the defective one. What? You mean, I am going to pay you to replace something that you sent me that was defective to begin with? OK. Fine. I will pay it this year. If the next mattress is defective next year do I have to pay it again? Would I choose a different mattress from a different manufacturer if Sleepy's was offering me the VALUE of my mattress instead of a CREDIT? You better believe it. And next time it will NOT be Simmons....

The Beautyrest Pillowtop Bonita (Queen) developed a channel where I sleep within 2 weeks of purchase. I am tall and average weight. I went back to where I bought it but they did not offer a return or exchange. ("Sorry about your problem".) I recently talked with someone else who had the same experience with this mattress. They lived it for 3 years before the indentation met the warranty requirments. In addition, they had to pay to have someone come out and inspect the indentation (twice!) prior to the warranty being exercised.

I've had the mattress for 13 months and developed hip and shoulder pain 6 months ago. This may or may not be related to the mattress but I haven't experienced this discomfort prior to this. When I need a good nights sleep, I sleep on the couch.

I read the Consumer Reports article on how to buy a mattress. (CU refuses to review as they say comfort is too subjective.) However, following their advice will not prevent you from buying a mattress...

I paid $1600.00 for this mattress and the company has replaced it twice already!!! The mattress does not hold up. After about a year it starts to sag in the middle. Do your back a favor, don't buy a Simmon's....

Rejoicing Pillow-Top from Mattress Discounters

The structure of this bed is hard on the sides, too soft in the middle. So when my boyfriend and I were sleeping on it, he would end up on my side because he couldn't stay on the side, he was almost rolled in by the bed. Plus, BeautyRest is just not made for stomach sleepers. The picture shows someone on their side and the bed conforming. Problem is, the bed goes down in those areas even when you're not on your side - so your body gets all contorted with your neck at an uncomfortable angle when on your stomach. I had the same problem with BeautyRest NxG 400 Pillow-Top and NxG 100 Tight-Top (yes, I went through a few beds in this process.) I would not spend your money at Mattress Discounters or BeautyRest. What I got a few weeks ago that is working out okay is the Hilton bed - I got to try it by staying at the hotel and it is actually flip-able, unlike every other pillowtop out there these days, which are structured to last...

i got this mattress as a present from my mother for graduation from college and wow, i have not been disappointed. the mattress is perfect for relaxing after a long day at work. i have not spent the nights tossing and turning that i have on previous mattresses. this is definitely worth purchasing (i almost fell asleep on the demo mattress in the store). it has been great for me especially considering that i have had problems sleeping on inexpensive mattresses before and actually have ended up sleeping on a couch instead of on the cheaper mattress. i have not slept on the couch since getting this mattress. it is incredible....
