We slept on a Simmons Beautyrest mattress in a Sheraton Inn in Nashville a few years ago. It was the best night's sleep we had had in a long time. For 15 years we slept on a waterbed. I liked the waterbed, especially the fact that it was always warm. My husband wanted a regular mattress. We finally decided to get rid of the waterbed and get a regular mattress last year. Since we had liked the Simmons Beautyrest mattress in Nashville, that is what we planned to get. We did try the Tempurpedic but I didn't like it. I thought it was too hard. We also considered a sleep number bed but my sister has a generic version and it felt almost like an air mattess. We went to the mattress store and looked around. They had a Simmons Beautyrest that is harder on one side and softer on the other. This was perfect for us. I like a softer bed and my husband likes a harder one. I tend to get pressure point pain in my hips sometimes. I still do occasionally on the Beautyrest but...

THIS BED IS UNBELIEVABLE!!! It is soooo comfy - truly one of the best mattress' I have ever slept on! The pillow top cover makes you feel like you are sleeping IN a cloud - adjusts to your everymore and is super soft. The mattress is firm underneath and keeps your back straight. I love it and don't know what I would do without it!...

The simmons beauty rest is the best mattress. I sold mattress' for three years. I no longer do that for a living, however, I think they have the best value. If you get tossed around by your partner at night,beauty rest will fix that. If you wake up tired and achy, beauty rest can fix that. They have individual coils, so they conform to your body. It's not like some matress' were you feel like your sleeping on a board. I have a king size so you do get the hump in the middle. No problem, just quarter turn your mattress every few months and the hump will disappeer. It is easy to find sheets to fit, for they are not to thick. They are foam encased so if you sit in the edge of the bed the coils are not sticking out through the sides. They also offer a low profile box spring for thoughs of you that don't like to climb up into bed. I would recomend this bed if you want to get a good nights sleep. When trying the beds in the store please give yourself plenty of time. You have to lay on the bed...

I researched mattresses online before trying them in-store, and I liked what I had read about the Simmons BeautyRest mattress sets. I found one at Macys that was comfortable for the few minutes I was on it, and it was normally $2000, on sale for about $1400 after taxes and delivery fees. I decided to splurge because I wanted something nice that would last a long time.

At first it was very comfortable; I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, it was so soft, yet it felt supportive enough that I didn't have any back pain.

After about 6 months, I noticed the pillowtop was starting to become flat where I normally slept (on one side next to my alarm clock). I decided to rotate the mattress and sleep on the other half so I didn't keep flattening only 1 side. That side also fell flat after a few months.

After about 1 year of use, the coils started to squeak--every time I got in or out of the bed, or even rolled over. It even wakes me up at night if I roll over and hear the squeak.

This is the best mattress I ever had. We bought the pillow top version in 2002 and never had a bad night sleep since. Support on this bed is also exemptional. I used to wake up with sore lower back each morning, but never had any pain since we bought our Simmons Beauty Rest. Highly recommend this for anybody who have trouble falling to sleep at night or back problems.

Hello i HAVE A SIMMONS BEAUTY REST MATRESS i always had trouble sleeping but no more.Since i've owned my simmons beauty rest matress i dont have anymore problems sleeping at all...i would recommend a simmons beauty rest matress to anyone and to anyone that wants to have a good nite sleep. it was very flustrating to always wake up soooo tired that you felt like you could not function..Getting up now is actually a pleasure i seem to have better days now since having my matress. i am considering buying one for my daughter because she now has trouble sleeping i know to have the best does cost a little but it would be well worth it to be able to sleep well because that has a lot to do with ones health...actually since having my matress sometimes as soon as i lay down it does not take me that long to go to sleep and that has really never happened.i love my matress and would not trade it for another..

We bought this mattress right before we got married 7 years ago and it has been a great mattress. It is very comfortable and when we travel and are sleeping in hotel beds, etc we can't wait to get home to our own bed. I feel like it still feels the same today that it did seven years ago. The only downside (my husband's opinion) is that it is a little too firm. I have never had any problems sleeping on it and am glad that we bought it.

Simmons beautyrest mattress has served us well and will last for a long time. The mattress we bought 9 years ago and still feels the way it did when we purchased it. The most comfortable mattress my husband has ever slept on.

Simmons Beauty Rest - Didn't work for us. The memory foam remembers your spot forever! When you want to turn, you're stuck a trough. We had to go back to our 10+ yr old select comfort.

The Simmons Beautyrest Classic with pillowtop in medium firmness is absolutely the best bed I have ever slept in! This bed is so comfortable that, after 7 years of ownership now, I still go to bed every night saying, "Oh, my God, I love this bed". I was also amazed to find, once I finally could afford to stay at a Westin hotel, that this is the same bed they call their Heavenly Bed. You can't get a better endorsement than that! I never want to stay somewhere now that doesn't have my Simmons Beautyrest bed. Ours is a California King and the cost was extremely affordable. The mattress cost was only $1300 (back then), the frame came free and the box spring was discounted just because we picked another color other than the one that matched the mattress. Awesome deal! This bed gives you nice support and hasn't even started to sag yet. Not to mention it feels extra soft with the pillowtop added, but doesn't sink you into the bed. I love that! I would highly recommend this bed to anyone searching...

When we (my husband and I) first got married, we bought a top-of-the line Simmons Beauty Rest (about $1400). After about five years, it began to sag, so I called about the warranty. Well, it was warrantied, so they sent someone out to inspect it.

The inspector said that we did need a new mattress, so he submitted a form to Simmons to get us one. Well, we had to pay for the postage to get the new mattress--from down South somewhere, about $100.

We got the new mattress, which was wonderful, not like the old one--only one-sided. It started to fall apart within two weeks of when it was sent to us. I have big metal pieces protruding from the sides. Then, when I called about it, they said the warranty had expired. I believe that Simmons deliberately sent me a defective mattress, and it infuriates me.

We originally got a Simmons because my grandmother, who had a boarding house and about 25 beds always purchased Simmons mattresses.

We purchased a Simmons Beauty Rest Mattress 5 years ago in August 2004 from Gallery Furniture. I contacted Gallery for a copy of my receipt-of all the things I kept, for some unknown reason this receipt wasn't one of them. (which they were very nice to provide even 5 years after the purchase). We suffer from severe back pain after a "Beauty Rest" many nights. Simmons promotes a 10 YEAR WARRANTY. We contacted Simmons and they sent out the independent contractor (of which l had to contact numerous times) to conduct an analysis. Results were sent to Simmons, and they said it was normal wear (body indentations of 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches), therefore the warranty is not honored. You can look at the mattress and see sagging--how's that normal with 1825 nights left to sleep? Why would an individual spend $1400 on a mattress with a 10 year warranty only to turn around 5 years later to make a new purchase? No more Simmons products for me! I was hopeful to get a few dollars towards a new purchase...

The Simmons Beauty-Rest Pillow-top mattress is of high quality and very well made. I first sleep on one in 2005 while staying at the Sheraton casino and hotel, having always loved to travel but hating all the hotels hard and uncomfortable beds that I had stayed at. I never would've imagined to have found a mattress so comfortable that I just was'nt going to be happy until I bought one of my own. So not wanting to pull the sheets off the bed to find a tag, I went down to the front desk to find out what brand and type of mattress it was.The very next day I purchased my Simmons Beauty-Rest Plush Pillow-top mattress and box-springs, it cost a quit a bit more then any-other mattress and box-springsI had ever bought but much worth it because you really get what you pay for in this one, for the comfort and quality you get. I'm going to buy another one for my guest room. I would recommend it to anyone buying a new bed.
