On the first night that we tried her on it she slept all night and was so happy after because she had a full stomach.... After she got to be about 11 and a half months old we had to start getting her off the formula and onto the 1% milk.Which really wasn't that easy, because she had liked this formula for so long..So we just started watering down the formula until it was only water then started adding milk.So overall I would have to say that out of all of the formulas that we had to try at the beginning that the Similac with Iron is by far the best yet.And alot of parents already know Similac is a good brand of formula anyways it's just trying to find the right one for your baby.So would deffinitly always recommand the Similac with Iron.</p>... Similac advance with iron has all the nutrients breast milk has. It is what comes closest to breast milk with one extra nutrient that breast milk does not have, which is vitamin E. there for the infant must get this vitamin from sun light. this allows for bones to harden into their natural state. Infants fed with similac advance with iron do not need to produce this nutrients because it is already in their milk. Studies have shown that children brought up with similac advance with iron grow up to be similar with those who were breast fed.</p>... My son used the formula with the DHA in it. Both of my children did very well on this formula. THey had no problems digesting it or with gas. The ready to feed was a bit pricey but I found that many drugstores, like Walgreens or CVS, would offer sales on it at times. Also, it was easy to find at big box stores like Costco or BJ's. The powdered formula is a bit cheaper but it is not as thick as the ready to feed. I have found that the thicker, ready to feed formula helped my kids sleep a bit better at night. Both of my kids were good for at least three hours from the time they came home. Also, they sell Similiac ready to feed in four ounce bottles, which is great when the baby is newborn. I was able to purchase these small bottles just for the night so that I had ready to feed formula on hand in my room. No running downstairs to heat up bottles. Overall, Similiac is a product that can be trusted for your baby! </p>... They also have various ways it comes in, for example, you can get it premade in liquid form, power where you mix it and pre measured where you can take it on the go.  Which I found came in handy on many famliy outings.  I think it is the most commonly used formula,  I know my doctor gave us samples also.  A big factor is it is American made!!  I would recommend this and did to my family members and friends.</p>...
