This product compares to other brands about the same as similar formula brands. I actually do not use this as my primary formula because it makes my daughter very constipated. All babies are different, so I think it's still a good product. Just not the best product for my child. The company sends a TON of coupons and samples, so that is definitely a plus when you are on such a tight budget. But because it does not digest well with my daughter, I only purchase this brand when I need to utilize the coupons. It is most-recommended by doctors and pediatricians. It mixes very well, actually better than other brands. You do not have to shake the bottle as long to get it dissolved. They offer a larger variety of formulas for different babies including soy, gentle, etc... to accommodate all types of digestive systems. But I tried the gentle formula to see if it digested better with my baby, and she threw up the entire bottle's contents.

I have noticed that Sammy is alot hypers since formula. I am switching to milk as long as there is no alergic reaction. Powdered vitamins cannot be good for anyone. I really don't think you should give any child anything that has no life in it. It is old preserved crap. If I could have I would have breast fed longer. Mass amounts of money are made off formula. Can't they invest in an idea that would give babies fresh food, not old stuff.

This is the gentlest formula you could ever find for your baby. it doesn't give your baby any gas or any intestine problems. It is easy to mix up and comes iwth easy directions to follow on the package. Tehe package makes it easy to dispense the right amount of formula out with the cup. There is no way to mistake the amunt of formula you are feeding your baby. When mixing formula it easily mixes and doesn't have any lumps or wierdness left over. It doesn't cuase any fussiness or anything after feeding. My daughter did awesome on this formula and was highly recommended by her doctor. with being premature this was the highest recommednded formula to give her caloires to give her weight. I would suggest this formula who is uunsure on which route to go. The only downside is that the never send out coupons. Enfamil always send out coupons but Similac. You can decide based on that though. It's your decision.

Ive used this formula with both of my children as infants and must say that it is pretty convienent, easy to digest, and good for baby as well! I never had any problems with the formula and feel that it is one of the next best things to the breast. I would suggest it to any mother for cost-effeciancy, safety, and the easy to mix powder. You can pre-make and refrigerate bottles for the whole day!! Similac Powder Baby Formula is a top choice is my book.

I never used Similac at first with my two babies. But on my third baby the Enfamil was too hard on her stomach. I switched to Similac and have been using it ever since. It is not hard on her stomach and is just a tinch cheaper than Enfamil. And when you sign up on their website, they will send you free samples, but then keep sending you $5.00 off coupons on any size of formula. This has helped us save a bunch of money.

So if you are looking for a new formula, try Similac and sign up to their webiste to get all the coupons.

SIMILAC ADVANCE IS A BAD BABY FORMULA FOR THE BABIES. IT HAS A NASTY SMELL TO IT. I THINK IT MAKE YOUR CHILDREN REAL HYPER. MY YOUNGEST CHILD IS THE ONLY CHILD I HAVE USED THIS FORMULA ON. IT SEEMED LIKE THE OLDER SHE GOT, THE MORE HYPER SHE GOT. WHEN I DID A RESEARCH ON THE FORMULA IT HAS ALOT OF SUGAR IN IT. WHEN I FOUND THAT OUT I IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED MY DAUGHTER OFF OF IT.I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDTHIS FORMULA TO ANYONE.THE POWDER IS THE WORST BEACUSE IT SEEMED LIKE THE MORE YOU STIRRED IT,THE MOREI GOT THICKER IT SEEMED LIKE YOU COULD NEVER GET THE LUMPS OUT OF IT ,WHICH MEAN MY CHILD WASN'T GETTING ALL OF HER FORMULA BECAUSE SOME WAS STILL IN LUMPS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE. BOWL, GLASS, OR WHATEVER I STIRRED IT IN.

I love Similac Advance, my baby was 1 month premature and weighed 4lbs 14oz when he was born, he spent 2 weeks in the NICU and therefore I couldn't give him breast milk as I could not even hold him so we had to with the formula. To choose one that is right for your baby is hard as there are so many out there on the market. We tried a few like Enfamil and Good start, but my son didn't do very well with those, he had a lot of spit up and it seemed to be a bit thinner than the formula we are using now. Then we found Similac Advance, He is grown big and strong and I don't feel guilty not giving him breast milk as he is thriving on his formula along with his solid foods he is eating. It also helped with spit up too. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I would prefer to pay the extra to help out my son in any way I can. I have tried the ready made formula but I prefer the powder as I can take it on the go.

Well if you read my comments you should know that I love great things that don't clean up you bank account. But when it comes to our babies food, there is no thinking. If it is good for their health we buy it. I used Similac baby formula and My little cutie loved it. She had it from 5months to 15months and couldn't have worked better, You adjust as she grows with the different stages. As for the formula itself, it is safe, healthy and well balanced.

But I did try Similac with Iron, a real desaster, because after taking it for a day she was constipated for 3 days, and when she did my neighbors were alerted because she creamed like never before. That was my clue to stop right away and I came back to the simple Smilac formula. It is funny when I think of that day.

It is a little costy compare to other brands but still very affordable than many other brands and it is safe. Plus if you are from Europe, it will put your mind at ease as it is very well known there and you get to use something...

Similac is a good, reliable infant formula. I used it all the time with my first child as it seemed to satisfy him fully. I was no thrilled with the cost. When my second child was born, I switched to the store brand as I found they had the same ingredients.

My six month old daughter has been on similac for about four months now and it has worked very well. She was breast fed for the first two months with a little formula mixed in to supplement feedings, and since then has been exclusively on similac formula. We had heard from a lot of people that the change over can cause stomach problems and lead to frequent spitting up, but we have not found that to be the case at all. Our daughter has not had any stomach issues or gas, and regularly gobbles down her formula eagerly. The other thing that I would definitely recommend is to sign up for the Similac Strong Moms program because you get all sorts of good stuff from the company. We got a bunch of free samples and a diaper bag which is actually pretty nice. We also get coupons about once a month for five dollars off formula, which really helps because all baby formula, no matter the brand is really expensive.
