THE WHOLE FAMILY WILL ENJOY THIS ONE, it's absolutely hilarious, one of the best series of children/family animated movies ever. It's a must to add to your collection. Just plain excellent fun.

I love Shrek. An adventurous animation that garbs your attention. There was a lot of thought put into this film. Watching it a second time , you find a different meaning than you saw the first time. Heartfelt and very funny. Family movie all the way. I invited some friends and there kids over to have a ,"Shrek Night." I already have the new one for 2010 on hold with Net-Flex.

Enjoyable and I would recomand it to everyone. On a scale of 1-10.......20. Eddie Murphy dose his thing....and makes you feel the part he plays....Great!

Shrek is a great movie for kids and adults. my 2 year old nephew loves to watch this movie and he can watch it over and over again, and frankly i do not mind when he likes to watch because it is a movie that i do not mind watching over and over again. The movie has some perverted jokes in it that the kids will not understand, but it is very funny to an adult! Shrek also has a very good storyline and it is not like the typical kid movie where an adult cannot get into it, because of the jokes that are there just to entertain the adults. Sometimes when i watch this movie with my nephew i start laughing at something that he does not understand and then he asks me about it and i just shrug it off. i think it was very smart of the producers to incorporate soem jokes that adults can enjoy rather than keeping it strictly for kids. I am 20 years old and i love the movie and i my 2 year old nephew loves the movie. If you want a movie that both you and your kid can enjoy, this is a...

Shrek has got to be one of our family's all time favorite movies to watch, i can't even count how many times we have seen it, shrek is one of the greatest animated / cartoon love stories I have ever seen, and donkey is just hilarious.

Big green ogres should be scary, but not this one. Any movie that can combine action, romance, and emotion along with the occasional fart is good in my book. My daughter loves Shrek and Donkey. Even though some of the content is more adult like, she only sees it as a great movie.

Shrek is a great!! movie! I loved, loved ,loved this money. One of the funniest animated films in a while.Intersting premise. Not the same boring old story. Fresh and new. Eddie murphy was halirious. Many samrt one liners throught the whole movie. Dont remember what it was rated but its fun for the whole family.I usually not big on sequels but i went out and got them just b/c they had shrek in the title.I would defintly recomend this movie to movie lovers of all ages.I didnt think i would like the movie b/c of mike myers. His movies are usuallly too stupid for me. So i was pleasantly surprised.

Shrek has to be the best animation by far I have seen in a very long time. I can sit and watch it over and over again. As a matter of fact I have. It is a movie for children but, they also put alot in there for the adults, so they don't mind sitting through it with the kids. There are many funny, I mean laugh out loud funny, parts in the movie. Like when Shrek gets shot with the arrow, and Fiona sends Donkey to find the blue flower with red thorns, and he said it would be easier to find if he wasn't colored blind. When he returned Fiona and Shrek were in a position they should not have been, and Donkey said if you wanted to be alone all's you had to do was say so. There are just so many things like that through the movie, and it makes it such a joy to watch. I just can't say enough about it without giving it all away. I think you must, just see it for yourself, to decide. Guarenteed to enjoy it.

I love this movie. iT was so cute and really entertaining. Shrek is very funny and going against some huge odds but in the end it all works out as dreamwork productions usually do. However, the only down side to this movie is that it does use a lot of potty humor which doesn't really bother me at all, but I know it does to some moms out there. However, the moral of the story is to look at the inside of the person, and not the outside. Therefore, this is a great movie and should entertain the who family over and over again.

This movie is sooo funny. I think some of the jokes will go right over a child's head, but an adult will catch every joke in the movie. Yes, your child will look at you with blank face.. like huh?

I first saw the movie "Shrek" when I was on a plane going across the United States. I have since watched it at least four or five more times--with my grandchildren.

Adults can enjoy the nuances and hidden jokes in the movie, and yet kids love it just for its humor (and the gross actions of Shrek when he bathes in the swamp).

It's a very clever and enjoyable movie.

It took me forever to see this movie, but when I finally saw it I loved it! Shrek has something for everyone, comedy, drama, romance, and action. On top of that kids love it, at least mine do. The relationship between Shrek and Donkey is the key to beautiful friendships....
