So entertaining! its hilarious and everyone could relate to her! You read the book continously because you have to find out what happens next. It is a common story, husband falls for ex-girlfriend, but it is exciting and I was sad when I finished the book. Definatly good for beach reading!...

scrapbookjunkie says "Good read, though not one of Kinsella's best" about Shopaholic & Baby

I have read most of the Shopaholic books, so I was very excited to read this one. It has been interesting enough to keep me reading, but definitely not one of Kinsella's best. I enjoy Becky's character, though I am not at all like her. I like to read about her latest adventure. In this book, I wish she would have told the Red-headed _itch where to go! I kept thinking "Just talk to your husband!!" I found myself slightly frustrated at the way she handled the who affair situation, but it was very typical of a Becky situation. All in all, I enjoyed the book, I just don't think it was as good as the other Shopaholic books....

njchicaa says "Same old Shopaholic story. " about Shopaholic & Baby

I've been reading the Shopaholic series of books for years now. When I first "met" Becky Bloomwood, I thought she was a delightful and amusing character. I've read all five Shopaholic books now and I have to say that I've officially lost interest in the series.

Shopaholic & Baby is about Becky's adventures in pregnancy and, more importantly, shopping for baby supplies. She is going to the well-respected obstetrician that delivered her husband Luke but decides to switch to a younger, trendier, ultra-exclusive doctor when she overhears a few women talking about her in a baby clothes shop. Little does she know that the doctor, Venetia Carter, was Luke's girlfriend back in college...

...and so the formulaic storyline begins. Becky is convinced that Luke is having an affair, she buys an absurd amount of baby clothes/supplies, oh and Luke is acting stressed out and distant but won't explain to his wife what is going on. Sound familiar to anyone? Becky's best friend Suze, her sister...
...
