Hubby and I loved this one. He can't stop talking about it, lol. We have already turned numerous friends on to it and they all have great reviews as well.

Great action and thrilling intense plot.

The Shooter is an action packed movie that is a must see for everyone. It is filled with thrills from the first scene to the end of the film. Mark Wahlberg does a great job of playing his role of the disillusioned former soldier. You can almost feel his disgust when he finds out he has been set up once again. The supporting cast also adds to the intensity you feel when you watch this film....

This movie, "Shooter" was so awesome! I couldn't believe the action scenes started right from the start! Great movie to watch with your significant other! There are parts of this movie that both men and women will enjoy! Not to give this movie plot away, but it is about a man, who is a sniper for the US army and a specialist in his field. His partner, who has a girl back home waiting for him, gets killed in a fight seen and the government covers up their mission. After a couple of years he is asked to create a possible attack on the US president and then is framed for the killing of another countries ambassador. This movie is action packed and you will notice things you missed the first time you watched, when you watch again!! ...

Mark Wahlberg, Michael Pena and Danny Glover play in "Shooter" a movie with great camera work, a good original storyline and strong characters.

Plot: To stop a presidential execution, Bob Lee Swagger, an ex-marine sharpshooter (Wahlberg) is asked to plan an assassination on the same man. But who is hiring Swagger and for which reason? To save or kill the president? Framed by the government, only one guy believes he is innocent.

What I though: Bob Lee Swagger is a very down to earth guy not like a typical sharpshooter is portrayed, or military man for that matter. I thought Wahlberg did an excellent job in this role and he made it very believable. The training that Wahlberg went through for the shooting is precise and a strong supporter in making this film above others. This is an exceptionally great movie because all of the actors were very strong and believable in their roles. "Shooter" is one movie I will be adding to my collection.

Mark Wahlberg plays an ex-Army sniper in Shooter (2007). Overall this was an interesting action flick (which I usually am not too into) with a fairly interesting plot. Wahlberg put in a solid performance as Bob Lee Swagger, a US Army vet that just wants to be left alone, but gets embroiled in an assassination plot. I didn't find the villans very convincing, but otherwise the plot and the main character's motivations were solid. I'd recommend this film for anyone looking to be entertained for a few hours, but in the end there just isn't enough to it to justify a higher rating....

I own this movie and I find it very awsome I just love it I always tell people how great it is everyone needs to see this movie Mark Walberg is fantastic as a sniper and he proves how crupt the goverment can be and he is one step ahead of them and makes them pay

There has long been a theory floating around that the U.S. government is control not by you and I, you know We The People, but by some un-named amorphous body. This body that answers to no one manipulates the reins of American power for their own enrichment of course and is all-powerful. Such is the story behind Shooter (2007) a Mark Walberg vehicle about a man, a high-powered rifle and a conspiracy to frame him for the assassination of a high ranking official.

While it was fun and fascinating to learn all about the weaponry and tactics of military marksman, Shooter ultimately fails to deliver, a smart well thought out story devoid of glaring plot-holes and how-did-I-know-that-was-going-to-happen-moments.

Oh my gosh, this movie was unbelievable! It kept me going the whole way through. Some of the scenes were so real, and there were some pretty cool twists and turns that made my jaw drop. There was non-stop action and suspense, it was awesome. This movie made me even more of a Mark Wahlberg fan than I was before. He is so amazing, especially when it comes to these action movies. I would love to see some kind of sequel to this, it was so great there almost has to be another one coming....

Mark, Mark, Mark. That man get's more amazing everytime, and that movie could get ten stars from me any day. It was a long movie but it was worth it, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It will end up being an all time favorite in history forever, and I really love that movie. When I first seen the preview, I said I had to go see it, not would go see it, I had to go see it, and I did, and I'm glad I did. But those guns didn't scare me one bit, and the noise didn't either. It was exiting to watch, and while I was watching it, I kept wondering what is Mark going to do next. But bottom line, it was a good movie and I enjoyed it....

This movie had an excellent storyline, it was very captivating. Kept you on the edge of your seat. Good acting, made you really hate the bad guys and feel sorry for the good guy/girl. Justice was served in the end and like all movies ended happily (not like real life) but still very good. Worth watching and loved watching on my new HDTV!...

This movie is a must see for all the action-thriller movie buffs out there. It has excellent on the "edge of your seat" action.
Its about a retired sniper that finds himself in the middle of a brutal assassation that he did not commit. He fights to beat the odds of his survival while trying to clear his name.
Outstanding action and a great story line. One of the best movies that i have seen in along time.
