I am also penaholic! Fascinated with stationery since childhood. I tried these Sharpie Pens and enjoyed the smoothness of the pen, but since it lacks a a rubber grip, it was not comfortable for me to hold. I also concur that the blue was too light for me. My favorite pen of all time is the Pentel Energel 0.7.
...

deniseb66 says "Sharpie Ink Pens are the Best!" about Sharpie Pen

Sharpie launched a new pen for every day use on June 30, 2008. It is a great pen for writing checks, or just whatever you need to write,it is great, since it doesn't bleed through paper, or I haven't had any problems with it doing that for me.

The Sharpie Pen was developed since consumers were wanting to have a pen that Sharpie would make and would last a long time, just like their markers, and high-lighters. The consumers spoke and Sharpie listened! Sharpie markers have had a great fan base, and I do think that the Sharpie Ink Pens will have some fans too.

The Sharpie Pens are in the colors of black and there are blue too. The blue is the ones that I use. The blue color is a medium to light color of blue, it may not be dark enough for most people, but I do like the color, it is different and not the standard dark blue like most pen colors of blue.

The ink is fade resistance, smear proof, and water resistance when the ink is dry. It is great for decorating shoes, jeans, drawing, writing...
...

Songbird0811 says "Sharpie pens are now my favorite... and that's saying something!" about Sharpie Pen

Okay, I'm a Sharpie fanatic. I admit it. I'll also admit that I really, really love a good pen. In fact, my sister has claimed that I have a borderline inappropriate relationship with office supplies, after seeing just HOW many pens I carry with me at any given time. I color-code my life, write everything down, and expect to use a pen that works and gives me great lines and color, or else. I won't throw a pen away, but I will donate it to a cashier at the grocery store if I hate it.

I saw Sharpie pens in the stores around Christmastime this past year, and bought a set of two for my own stocking (long story there). There is very little that I dislike about these pens. They write smoothly, have a great fine point to them, have less "smell" than their marker counterparts, are permanent, and don't leak through any paper on which I've tried them. I'm going to try them on some of my scrapbooking projects, too. This may be a trivial thing, but the caps stay on! I hate it...
...

PattyTherre says "My doctor's pen stash MAY be safe from me now that I have these." about Sharpie Pen

Quick View: These pens are really NOT traditional pens in my opinion. They are super fine markers with hard tips that don't bleed through paper. I really like them but the blue ink could be a darker blue. It's more of a medium blue. Otherwise, these rock.

About Sharpie Pens

First let me say that I am a pen FANATIC.I buy pens all the time and have some that cost more than I will admit to anyone. I ask my doctor if I can have one of his pens all the time. At every visit. He has a big cup with a ton of pens from different drug companies and I swear, I don't mind the long wait to see him because I am playing his pens. That's sad, I know. The last visit, he gave me a pen with a key ring thing on it that repeled after using it. I was so excited about the dumb pen that I forgot why I was there for a minute. Lest you wonder, I am not mentally challanged. Just pen addicted.

I am a journal writer and I have a fit if my pen smears or bleeds through the page. Having said all that, I HAD to try the new......

dalejr88 says "The new Sharpie pen is perfect for writing anything" about Sharpie Pen

I was very skeptical about the new fine point Sharpie pen, but my daughter talked me into buying it. I love pens. I know it is weird, but I like bright and smooth writing pens. There is always a need for permanent markers, but they usually bleed through the paper and not for every day use. Sharpie has taken care of that problem. The new Sharpie pen is fantastic. I use it every day to write checks, write grocery list, etc. I even showed it to my office manager and asked her to buy me some to use at work.

I bought the blue sharpie pen. It is an amazing blue, kinda a lighter and brighter blue than most pens.

I recommend you to try the new Sharpie pens and I'll bet you will use it every day.
...

kle0686 says "The first Sharpie Pen, doesn't bleed through paper!" about Sharpie Pen

When I saw (and paid attention to) the new Sharpie commercial, I realized it was different. I love Sharpie markers, so when I realized Sharpie came out with an actual pen, I was happy. I ran out to Staples to get it. Well, first I checked online to see where I could get the best deal. I could only find the new pen at Staples. The new Sharpie Pen 4 pack at Staples is $6.99 plus tax, which isn't too bad.

As soon as I got home I had to try it. It claims to not bleed through paper, and it really doesn't!. This is a big plus. The pen writes very smoothly and glides like a good ball point.

There are some cons. The pen still looks like a marker which disappointed me. The grip is similar to Sharpie thin markers, it has no comfort. I probably would not use it to write long papers or for any long period of time, but it is great for quick notes.

Sharpie Pens come in four colors: Black, blue, green, and red. I bought the variety pack with one of each color, but they offer packs of single colors also....
...
