I recently purchased this windown Sharp air conditioner a month or so ago. I thought there might be a problem fitting it into my window because I have a very large window!! It turns out that it fit in my large window with no problem only after making a few minor adjustments. After finally getting it to fit into my window correctly and finding the correct height of a wooden stake that I happened upon to make sure that the part of the Sharp air conditioner that is on the outside of the house is propped up to a decent enough level so there would be absolutely no chance of this air conditioner falling out! That would be a horrible situation! Anyways... my family and I are so impressed with this new Sharp window air conditioner. It works much better than what we expected. The price was very reasonable as well compared to many other similar window air conditioners. Our living room started cooling off almost right away after installing this window air conditioner. I am quite satified with my purchase and use of the Sharp Air Conditioner - AF-S120MX.

It's cooling capacity is very effectant. It is easy to clean. Other than that it is mostly maintanace free.

Sharp's Window Air Conditioner is easy to use, easy to install and keeps the room Frosty! My husband likes it cold to sleep and this unit does it with minimal power usage. It is an Energy Star appliance which is great. It has a reusable, washable filter and a remote control. The LCD temperature readout lets you know exactly where you're setting it and where it will maintain the room temperature. My only complaint is it isn't quiet and takes awile to get used to the noise to sleep....

We recently purchased a sharp af-s120mx air conditioner for our home. The product works great. It cools throughout the house and never fails. The product was reasonably priced and I recommend it to eveyone. I will never buy another air conditioning product for my home!!

the sharp af-s120mx air conditioner is really good.i use it to keep half of my house clean.but, it runs up electricity a little to fast for me.And its really hard for me to clean the filter.It takes me about 10-15 minutes.Plus it is a little to quiet,dont get me wrong but sometimes i like to have a little noise so i dont get a little suprised when my friends try to freak me out.but all in all,it deserves 4 stars!!...

so The AC from Sharp is great! its an affordable alternative to pricy ACs and its great in performance!the features are easy, inderstandable and extremely efficient. The AC lets you set your own temp, lets you even put a timer on for when you go to bed it wont run all night (which is extremely energy efficient for all you green people out there, as well as saves you money you might be wasting without ever needing to) and also has different levels of power such as high cool, low cool, medium cool, fan, etc. Its a great AC to have and i totally recommend it. The only thign that could possibly go wrong with this AC is that it attracts a lot of dust so you may need to wipe the vent or clean the filter every now and then but i think all ACs do that anyways so....good luck!!...

This A.C. is 12,000 BTUs and I LOVE IT! I can't stand hot weather so this fulfills my daily requirement of cold.

The unit is a little too loud and the open/close vent lever is flimsy. The remote has a narrow window on the A.C. and I have to aim it directly right on but I usually get it on the second try.

We are not using the included side panels since the A.C. is in a wide window so my husband improvised his own side panels. For that reason I cannot comment on the quality of the panels that came with the unit.

Since the A.C. is so powerful we don't even need to keep it running all day on a hot day. We can shut it off for an hour or more and the room is still cool as long as our ceiling fan is on and I'm not cooking.

The power saver feature is okay but we don't like that it will shut down the A.C. for 10 minutes. We have to put on our ceiling fan to keep the air flowing.

The temperature selector is more to our liking since we can choose a reasonable temperature we want the room to......
