IT was actually an AMAZING movie. i loved the plot and it was very heart warming watching these four friends work through hardships in life as one of them experienced one of the worst things in the world... a heart break. the movie kept me very interested and made me want to go buy it as soon as it hit shelves.. and i did :). the movie also is easy to understand, i was afraid that i would be lost in the movie because i do not and never have watched one bit of the series on tv. you can know nothing at all about this series but absolutely enjoy the movie. i loved it. it was one of the best ones i've seen in a long time. i definitly recommend this movie to all my friends and i recommend it to you!  i promise that if you have no idea what the series is about... or have never watched it... you don't need to in order to enjoy this amazing movie!</p>... Its a show with humore, sexiness, fabulous fashions, and show us the binds of four women who no matter how many bad relationships they have gone through they all realize that at the end of the day they still have each other. These actresses and their leading men are a wonderful cast. They all bring out each others talent. Their stories stay true to the series and their characters. Nothing seems to be fake with these girls. This movie has humor, love, and a bit of mixed emotions. One minuet your happy and the next your down in the dumps. Tissues are required when watching this movie. Tears or both joy and sadness shall be shed. The clothing is art itself. Patricia Field scores once again! Sarah Jessica Parker gives a knock out performance in which still left a few stunned when she failed to recieve a Golden Globe nomination. Lucky for us at this very moment part two is being filmed. It makes a guy capable of showing his "softer" side, and that does not mean you're Gay, it simply means that you show your human side, and the compassion that both genders should have for one another.</p>... Then something awesome happens....THEY COME OUT WITH THE SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE!!!! OMG!!! I thought i was going to have a heart attack,(ok alittle dramatic) and could'nt wait to tell my movie going mom and auntie. So we arranged a time when the three of us could go together. It,s a great love story, and can make you laugh as much as make you cry. I don't go to many movies in theaters, but this one i would see not only once but twice. Well deserving of two thumbs up. I personally can relate to Carry... but only can dream of living her kind of life.... Thu, 24 Sep 2009 21:01:51 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Sex-and-The-City-The-Movie-review-b3f1 cyrialove1 4 http://www.viewpoints.com/Sex-and-The-City-The-Movie-review-77694 <p>What can I say......I never even watched the series on TV and almost turned the channel when I saw that it was on.  I thought  that since I did not watch the series that I would be lost during the movie "Sex and the City".  But was I wrong.</p> <p>They did a wonderful job during the opening of giving a litte of what had gone on over the years.  I never felt as if I did not get what they were talking about or what was going on. </p> <p>I do have to say that not watching the series did leave me a bit stunned at a few of the scenes and sone of the language.  You might want to watch if you have children in the house, some of the scenes catch you by suprise.  However, overall I have to say that this is now one of my favorite movies of all time. </p> <p>It gives you a glimpse of each lady and their life at the time.  And a little of "what is going to happen now". </p> <p>Overall this is a great movie that I would recommend to anyone but again I would make sure the little ones were in bed!</p>... Thu, 10 Sep 2009 16:27:21 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Sex-and-The-City-The-Movie-review-77694 blakendee 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Sex-and-The-City-The-Movie-review-9ae3 <p>Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthis Nixon and Chris Noth all play in the continuation film of the TV series <strong>Sex and the City.</strong></p> <p><strong>Plot:</strong> I don't want to ruin too much of it.  It's basically just a wind up of the tv show and bringing everything to a close.  After 10 years of dating, Carrie and her hunky boyfriend, John, decide to get married.</p> <p><strong>What I thought:</strong> The opening choreography along with the funky upbeat music is an attention grabber and sucks the viewer in.  The wedding planner is hilarious.  The wedding dress photo shoot is really fun.  There's a great scene that features best of the '80's (music) with worst of the '80's (clothing).  Although <strong>Sex and the City</strong> is one big extension of the TV show, people who haven't seen the show will still enjoy this film.  Be ready for this long, long movie!</p> <p><strong>Sex and the City Snack Attack:</strong>  You'll need an intermission to get more, so go for some popcorn and then your favorite ice cream.  Maybe vanilla soft serve with...</p>... (I don't go to movie theaters.)  I watched <em>Sex and the City: The Movie</em> right after it was released on DVD and again last night.  I wasn't impressed back then and I'm not impressed today.</p>&#13; <p>The <em>Sex and the City</em> movie picks up shortly after the series ended.  Carrie is with Big, Samantha is out on the West Coast managing the career of her hot and much younger boyfriend, Charlotte and her husband have adopted a Chinese girl, and Miranda is married to Steve and raising their child Brady.  The main focus of the movie is Carrie and Big's engagement and impending wedding, though we also follow the issues that pop up into the other three women's lives. ...</p>...
