We bought a Serta Panorama bed for 1500$ 3 years ago for a wedding present to ourselves. This has been a nightmare of a mattress. I am pregnant and miserable, my poor husband wakes with back and neck problems every morning because he gets the deeper of the two holes in the mattress.

The warranty process has lasted months now. After paying 45$ to have someone inspect the mattress and finding it faulty... they now want to add 80$ to have them pick it up and redeliver it after they do a "quick fix" in the factory.

When asking them what I am supposed to sleep on while they are repairing it they say sorry about the inconvience but there is nothing we can do about that.

Word to the wise, don't buy Serta! and if you do, I hope you never have to initiate a warranty becaues their cosutomer service is horrible!

My Serta mattress started sagging before one year. After year 2 full body impressions on opposite sides of mattress due to turning mattress. I bought this mattress for back support as advertised. I can not sleep in it now due to backache from deep impressions. I have a 10 year warranty that is why i purchased it. Serta advised me they will not honor the warranty. It is not sagging enough for them to bother with. I am out for a king size $1200 and sleepless nights.

My wife and I purchased the Serta Perfect Sleeper queen mattress and bedspring and it developed the body caves within the first year. We both wake up in the morning with back pain and find it hard to sleep at night. Our last bed was purchased for $300 mattress and bed spring from someone selling them on the side of the road, that bed lasted 13 years and we would rather have that bed back now and dump the Serta! We are looking to replace our Serta now (it is still less than 2 years old!) and we will never by a Serta again!

The Serta Pefrfect Sleeper As far as pros.........the cats enjoy sleeping in the dips where we TRY TO sleep.

This mattress has hurt my back ever since my first night on it! And now both our queen size and my son's twin size mattress has developed dips. My son is 5'9" and 145 lbs. Not very heavy. As soon as I'm financially able I will replace both mattresses with something else.

I don't recommend this mattress....

It was cheap, and has held up better than my original mattress, so as long as it holds up for at least 5-10 years I'm happy....

We bought the Serta Perfect Sleeper pillowtop mattress (Panorama model) in Dec. 2006. We also bought a twin size version for our 14 year old son. By Dec. 2007 both the twin and queen mattresses had body wells in them so deep that all three of us woke up every day with back problems. We are average size people. Prior to leaving the store where we purchased the mattresses, I asked the salesman what to do if we had any trouble as there was only a 30 day store guarantee. He discussed the warranty paperwork with us but stated that it was almost impossible to get a mattress company to make good on a warranty claim. After suffering another year, we are once again shopping for two good mattresses. I will not purchase another pillowtop of any kind as I believe the mattress breaks down in this area the worst. The springs in our particular mattresses must also be a problem as they do not support normal body weight after one year of use. It's a shame to have to dispose of a $1200......

Intially we purchased this Serta mattress to use in our guest bedroom for when people stay over. Now that another person has moved into the house they use this Serta mattress as their bed. The Serta pillow top mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely re-purchase this item for another room. We have some back pain but that is due to age and work habits. It always is a comfort to drop into bed on our Serta at the end of the day....

I tried this matress out at the store, and it didnt do that matress justice.

It was SO MUCH better than that.
but it was very nice. It is everything i have ever wanted in a matress

I have not had the matress for too long.
It seems at though it will hold up for a long time.

The Serta Perfect Sleeper changed the way I sleep at night. I no longer toss and turn. It's like sleeping on a huge pillow!

Right now, I spend 9 months of the year in a college dorm on a prison mattress, and this mattress has changed the way I sleep. Every night when I lie down on my bed, I instantly feel like my joints are all assuming a rejuvinating position. I would frequently awake on my older (but decent quality) mattress feeling like some of my joints (including vertebral) hadn't quite been in an ideal position for most of the night. Not the case on this one. Every morning, when I first hit the floor, I'm reminded of why I love this not too soft, not too firm mattress. I would highly recommend the mattress to anyone. I don't need any other type of help getting to sleep now.

It's a shame mattresses are so expensive. I mean, come on. Almost a thousand dollars for one? You've got to be kidding me! At least the mattress I'm reviewing is 200 bucks lower than most of them.
