brynl says "This is not a comfortable bed, regardless of the setting." about Select Comfort Dual remote sleep number bed

My wife and I, before we married, got one of these beds each, thinking they were supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread. She got the cheapest one, I got the model that was a couple steps up, (supposedly).

When we got them, we figured it would just take a while and we'd get used to them and get ourselves "dialed in" on which number we should each use.

A little over a year later, our backs hurt more than ever, and we are going to get new a new bed. We actually sleep on our la-z-boy couches sometimes to make our backs feel better.

Rush and the rest of you who have sold your good name promoting these things... shame on you, though I have to say it doesn't surprise me to find that you're little more than Selectcomforts call-boys.
...

LuisaDawn says "Sleep Number company is a big rip off!" about Select Comfort Dual remote sleep number bed

We got the Sleepnumber bed on the 30-Day Trial. The salesperson told us it would be a $199.99 cost if we returned it. We agreed to that. Now we find the cost is $159.99 in addition to that! When I called them and told them we knew nothing of this charge, they said in not so many words that I was lying! Not only is the bed uncomforable, but the customer service is HORRIBLE!. Terrible company that can keep this piece of crap they call a bed. Stay away from these deceitful scammers!
...

Sarahcp says "Good bed but doesn't live up to hype" about Select Comfort Dual remote sleep number bed

We purchased our Select Comfort Dual remote sleep number bed 3 years ago just before I had back surgery. We have been pleased with the product but it has not been as wonderful as they claim it will be. I still find that I don't wake up totally comfortable and refreshed. May just be that we're getting older but we're younger than spokeswoman Lindsey Wagnor! We got the queen size, which is wonderful having the dual control since my husband and I have drastically different comfort points. We also got the "craftmatic" ability to raise the back and feet. We don't use that feature frequently (and the "massage" feature never) but it does come in handy. It's especially useful when you have congestion and need to lift your head a bit for a better sleep.

We have had a problem with the side foam edge on my husbands side bending and creating a slope to the outside of the bed. They replaced it for a prorated fee, though it looks like it is going to be a constant problem. Their service has been...
...

toobusy says "I sleep very well in this bed!" about Select Comfort Dual remote sleep number bed

I love this bed. I used to be very stiff and sore in the morning and now I wake feeling rested. As others have said, the mattress can get a dip in the middle but you can correct this by taking the mattress cover off and moving the foam piece. It sounds like a lot of work but it takes all of about 5 minutes. What other mattress can you do this with? I have had this bed for almost 4 years and have done this twice! I have the 7000 model and would not trade it for anything.
...

taterdudemom1 says "Select comfort sleep number bed is the worst bed ever!!!!!" about Select Comfort Dual remote sleep number bed

We bought this bed 5 years ago because we both had back problems and supposedly it can eliminate or at the very least help them. Well not only did it not help we both have worse back problems and harder time getting to sleep now than before. Since it is the dual sided where you can have one side firm and one side soft, there are actually 2 seperate mattresses with a strip of foam in between, and as it breaks down there is a dip in the middle so you rolldown in it especially if there is someone else in the bed. Another claim this bed makes is that you can't feel anyone moving on the other mattress, but that is soooo untrue when my husband lays down sometimes it about throws me off! Anyway this bed in my opinion is Crap!...
