Sea World - San Antonio, Texas : I really loved the fact that i went there and i really enjoyed every minute of it. What an amazing experience for me to hang out in such a beautiful place. The place is so much fun. No matter what your age is you will just love this place. They have different shows and each one is unique and absolutely fantastic to watch. My favourite show is SHAMU Show. I enjoyed the way they perform with the killer Whales in front of everyone. I could see all the kids out there every bit of it. The music during this show is simply superb.This show finally comes with a message to everyone how to Believe. This is so incredible. Its really a delight to watch how awesome they could perform with those killer whales. Those professionals who perform with the killer whales must be brave, equally kind and their love for the work reflects in that show. I really love this show. Apart from this show they have other shows as well. You will enjoy all the shows.Definitely a beautiful...

Sea World San Antonio is like any other theme park attraction out there~forever crowded and overpriced. But I will say that kids love it. I mean really love it... The water park, the rides, and that ever so popular killer whale. The season pass is the best deal, and basically pays for itself in less than 2 visits. The pass will also give you a bit of a discount at vendors in the park. There are a lot of different things to do while at Sea World. From an on-site brewery to a penguin experience, you'll surely find something up your alley. If you visit the water park, make sure to head there at the beginning of the day because usually it gets packed and the line to enter spans a long while. The water park itself is a refreshing break from the summer heat. Beware, it gets very crowded in the wave pool, and the lines can seem endless for the slides. The Shamu shows are usually filled as well, so plan accordingly. I will say, my favorite attraction at the park is the Sea Lions. Situated......

Three years ago we had membership to Sea World. We loved, loved, LOVED it.

Then we moved to the other side of town and decided to take a break because of how far away it is. We so miss our Sea World.

Sea World is so very clean. I always am amazed when I go into the bathrooms and they are clean. With the amount of people going through them, you wouldn't expect that.

I also love the workers. Once, my son got lost. It was terrifying for us, but they were so with it, and within 5 minutes he had been located and taken to the front gate for us to retrieve him.

The shows are wonderful, maybe a little bit too loud (Believe) but so so good. We've seen all of them several times and they never get boring.

If you are coming to San Antonio, you must go to Sea World!

SeaWorld Texas is one of the biggest family-friendly hotspots in the San Antonio area. Little kids love the whale and dolphin shows, big kids love the roller coasters, dads love having a free brewski over in the Anheuser Busch hospitality house. It's a park the whole family can be happy with.

I like the very wholesome feel of the park. It emphasises nature and the wonders of the outdoor world, in spite of the obvious canned nature of the shows. Where else can a kid get a chance to feed a dolphin, a sea lion, and a lorakeet? Probably nowhere, and so we go back. We love the penguin house, and we love watching the divers in the tank in the large aquarium.

Our favorite shows are the Viva Dolphin show and the Shamu shows. Used to be that we'd have picked Shamu as the slam-dunk first choice, but the show has been watered down a whole lot in recent years and made about as unexciting and dull as possible. The taped nature show dude probably lends some name appeal, but it has zero energy compared......

SeaWorld San Antonio is the best, cleanest and coolest place for families to come together. There is something for everyone and by purchasing season passes, a very inexpensive way to always be able to "go" somewhere with the family. The shows are first class and SeaWorld San Antonio treats Season Pass Holders with respect and freebies. A great place of enjoyment and relaxation....

My boys are now 5, 5, and 3. This place has saved my sanity many times! The boys love checking out the penguins and the aquariums (sharks!). They also love watching the dolphins in dolphin cove and when lucky enough to get to touch them or get splashed.

Of course their favorite part now is the kiddie rides, as they are all tall enough to ride most of them. They love the water park part for the kiddies. I feel comfortable taking them there by myself.

Most of the times that I go, my friend that also has twins and another one goes too. Between the two of us, we can keep an eye on all 6 kids. We can vary up the visits so that we do not do the exact same thing every time. This keeps the kids glad to go back for more. With the season pass, we have saved not only money, but our sanity and our summers.

If you live nearby, get the pass and avoid going to the park during spring break, Fri-Sun and holidays. But, if you go around 5pm, most people are getting tired and leaving,...

Sea world is one of my favorites place to go. It has so awesome shows and i really enjoying it. It got water parks which alot of children really having fun ever since i never bother to go to water parks until i have couple cousins who are toddler and went there they love it and it good to keep them entertainment. Shamu does awesome shows. Feels like you do love them alot. There also new ride which im totally love it, it safe and great. There also have a section where give out the color bands which children can get on rides for their safety which is good to know and make sure they are tall enough to get on. Overall it awesome!...

We live in San Antonio and own a season pass because we can't get enough of this park. My 6 year old loves to feed the dolphins and getting a chance to touch them as they swim around their pool. My husband and I like to jump into the Budwieser Brewery and have a couple sample beers on the house across from the dolphin pool. Then we head over to the penguins and try to walk like them the rest of the day. The shows are great and always give us chills to watch those beautiful sea animals twirl around so gracefully. Only the splash section will do for the Shamu show. Seeing the relationship bond between the trainers and these gentle giants is awe-inspiring. We will always have our season passes on hand for another great season with this great park.

The Case

I live in Austin, Texas, which means I have it good, because Austin is centrally located. I have an even traveling distance to the other big Texas cities, most notably San Antonio - home of the Alamo, the Riverwalk, and SeaWorld. And boy, do I love SeaWorld!

The Good

I've never been to any of the other SeaWorld parks, but I'd be willing to bet that San Antonio's version rates just as high as the rest of them, if not better. The grounds are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the water park is fun and kid-friendly, and the overall feeling of the park is enjoyable, laid-back, and relaxing.

I've always had a fascination with marine life, and marine mammals in particular, and I never get sick of seeing the whales, dolphins, sea lions, and the rest. Also, unlike some zoos I've been to, SeaWorld really seems to love its animals, and I never get that sad vibe of captivity that you sometimes find in other animal parks. The shows are classy, entertaining, and educational. ...
